00:07um but he is a winner of survivor the huge show that is now celebrating its 50th season
00:15insane which i can't believe uh but it was funny because off here he was like well i won
00:22survivor was it africa africa but you lost a bunch of other shows you were on i'm like don't
00:27lead with that lead with the fact that you won survivor africa but you're actually in studio
00:32because you're there's a huge event tonight going on and you can maybe tell us more about that sure
00:37yeah we have a huge event going on survivor the show has had a revival and uh everyone's loving
00:44the show and so tonight at game on in boston we're having a survivor 50 watch party i'm working with
00:51this guy named wendell holland who also won a season of survivor and he travels from city to city hosting
00:56survivor 50 watch parties and tonight it's in boston not only that we're bringing in uh underground
01:02games and what they did is they literally took the challenges you see us play on survivor they
01:07recreated them at the same scale and they're bringing them to the bar tonight so you can try
01:12to play these challenges that we actually played out there on the island you can oh wow it's gonna
01:15be a blast tonight you were on one of the you the season that you won that was the third
01:20season
01:21are you surprised that it's lasted this long i am surprised that it's lasted this long you know
01:27we are i played season three season eight and season 40 and now we're on season 50 right that's
01:34amazing 2001 was the year when i was on and it's i mean i love the fact that the show
01:40is still here
01:40because like twice a year when it premieres i'm relevant right you know people want to talk to me
01:45like you guys but it's unbelievable the casting's and fantastic you know the show just keeps innovating
01:51and it's super exciting so if you haven't tuned in in a long time this is the season to do
01:55it because
01:56it's all returning players so you see some characters from like when you were probably
02:00old school days to like new school days and you'll you'll have fun watching it
