00:05:45you two have gone as far as you can go in this game tonight the power shifts to the jury
00:05:52nine people that you had a hand in voting out of this game
00:05:58will now decide which of you wins the title of sole survivor and the half a million dollars
00:06:05that goes along with it so Caleb would you like to kick us off okay I'd love to hello everyone
00:06:19what an honor it's been to be able to work with the most amazing special people and play this crazy
00:06:28game it's been a wild ride I want to kind of start on my redemption I feel like my whole
00:06:36life guys I
00:06:37have been a bit of an underdog I have been underestimated and look I feel like I was
00:06:46underestimated in this game Caleb chaos was almost a bit of a front but I played a very tactical game
00:06:54and it's literally led me here to be final two I felt like everybody knew what my my mission was
00:07:04it was the year of the underdogs I pitched that us underdogs we are going to really struggle against
00:07:12the best players so why don't we all unite and get out the returnees but then I made an alliance
00:07:19with Mark I played one of the best double agent games I've ever seen and I'll put a big blindside
00:07:29on one of the hugest players of the game then after that I've managed to stay in the right majority
00:07:39alliance create the right relationships with the right people the whole time to make the final four
00:07:44and then me and Loz we teamed up we put two votes on Sally Sally and Jacko put two votes
00:07:53on me we went
00:07:53to fire and ladies and gentlemen boys and girls I made the quickest fire in a challenge in Australian
00:08:01Survivor History then we went to an individual immunity challenge and I finally won my first one
00:08:09I lasted four hours and ten minutes on those pegs which then led to me one of the hardest decisions
00:08:17why the hell did I take Jacko and not Loz
00:08:23as I was up there I realized something she's taking Jackson otherwise we could just get off
00:08:31and I was like I gotta take Jackson if I want to win so I had to get her out
00:08:38sorry Loz
00:08:43I'm so close to being redeemed it's just an amazing feeling and if I win today then that's it
00:08:50then I have been truly redeemed in my big redemption arc

00:09:19hi guys I am so grateful to you all for the game that we played together
00:09:26with redemption on the line we all came in here with something to prove something that bonded us
00:09:32day one started out on the bottom I had no game but I earned my right to keep playing in
00:09:42this game
00:09:43dirty Harry I took out a nearly 100 day player with just 10 days in this game and a sad
00:09:50looking fleet
00:09:52I got very lucky in tribe swap but I didn't let the luck just go to waste I had Ben
00:09:58and Brooke
00:10:00who needed a new alliance and we gathered all the troops we looked around at a target and who'd we
00:10:07land on the big bad Asha and then we got her the beauty and the beast ride it home
00:10:15come merge this is where I made I think my biggest move in the game and the hardest move in
00:10:22the game
00:10:24then I'm oh I'm sorry
00:10:29but I saw Keely Brooke and Simon and I saw my ticket to the final four of this game
00:10:35I traded one beautiful shield for three more beautiful shields
00:10:43then lo and behold come end game I have no allies left in this game the only way through
00:10:49is to win a necklace and you know what I did I got myself a two-piece feed
00:10:53I clutch up and I fill a hole in my resume in the physical challenge department
00:11:00and battled my way through to the final three
00:11:06I fought so hard tooth and nail every day I got knocked down and I got back up again smarter
00:11:13it wasn't survival it was evolution
00:11:15I proved that I was the biggest beast in the beauty and the beast
00:11:19I was the only one in club kaput that didn't go kaput
00:11:22and I am gonna be the only underdog left barking on the mountain
00:11:27I'm sure as heck the only underdog that would run side by side with the big dogs
00:11:33and I've earned your respect
00:11:36I learned from you I played with you
00:11:39and now I sit here
00:11:41and I outlasted you

00:12:52I had a bit of a strategy which was to commit as many survivor crimes as I could
00:13:00no way
00:13:01and I leave with quite a rap sheet
00:13:04and so I want to hear from you guys about whether your game is similar to someone with a rap
00:13:14sheet of petty crimes
00:13:15or is it major crimes
00:13:19look I got a bit of a rap sheet going
00:13:22moments like winning a fire challenge
00:13:24moments like staying on awful pegs for four and a half hours
00:13:29or getting out of redemption beach
00:13:30I've got a few there that I kind of covered in my opening pitch
00:13:38think of crimes like risks
00:13:40OK
00:13:41so is there any crime or risk that you wish that you did make and you didn't
00:13:49I think my biggest risk I didn't take was putting more faith into laws
00:13:55I think throughout the game
00:13:57I had opportunities
00:13:58to really go forward with her in this game
00:14:01and trusting her survivor instincts
00:14:04because she
00:14:05man she played a great great game

00:14:17I think out of everyone here
00:14:19you are the one person that didn't come out laser focused on gunning for returnees
00:14:26the way that you used us to your advantage
00:14:31I found incredible and very very rare
00:14:36I would just I don't want to say that
00:14:39we're talking about fear or hesitation to work with returnees
00:14:45this man right here was not afraid to talk to me on night one
00:14:49but he also wanted you gone from the first travel
00:14:52I needed to learn
00:14:53I needed to learn from the best
00:14:56and what a better way than to
00:14:59find the best players
00:15:00and like the thing is Mark

00:15:03that was really hard for me
00:15:04in the end
00:15:05to make that flip

00:16:19I tucked myself away in there
00:16:21did I have to continue to drive boats hard
00:16:24every single day

00:16:26that's a good way to put a target on your back
00:16:29my problem in this game
00:16:30is when people play passenger for too long
00:16:32and hide in the numbers
00:16:38yeah look I um
00:16:40with the underdogs that I had on my tribe
00:16:43I was also pitching
00:16:45and we were literally waiting for opportunities to strike
00:16:49and
00:16:50if you weren't such a passenger
00:16:51can you give an example on a time that you were
00:16:53driving and influencing a decision
00:16:56when were you in the driver's seat
00:17:00every single time
00:17:01working with the returnees
00:17:03at the same time
00:17:05having my foot in the other door
00:17:08with underdogs

00:17:29if you're claiming that
00:17:30then I'm going to sit here and claim it too

00:17:33the concept of double agent
00:17:34is simply playing survivor
00:17:36playing this game
00:17:37is
00:17:38lying
00:17:38and telling people
00:17:39that you're going to this plan
00:17:40but actually it's going to be this one

00:50:06much harder to shift the target this time around? Look, I don't know. I feel like I would be,
00:50:13we would be understating the players here if I didn't give them the credit they deserve. I mean,
00:50:19we've got players like Lottie here. We've got Asha here. So many of the players that I started with,
00:50:25it was like day two. They were already ready to play like returnees. So I just have to give them

00:50:59really started everything up. Lottie had our number and she clocked us pretty quickly, which was
00:51:06unsettling to say the least. And Simon, you dirty dog. Mark, your first season is known for its wild
00:51:17gameplay. Were you surprised by how crazy these tribals were or did it feel like coming home?
00:51:23I loved the season that I first played in. I learned so much from the other players that I played
00:51:28with.
00:51:28So I was just taking lessons from all of the greats. They were the ghosts that were haunting me,
00:51:33but also they taught me all my lessons. So I just went out there. I'm like, hey,
00:51:38if Ferris and Kirby and Eileen and Eden and Val, everyone, if they can do these great moves to
00:51:43tribal, why can't I? And so from day one, I was not holding back at all. And you didn't.
