00:00The good news is you can stay on top of those changing prices thanks to a new service that's
00:04been provided by the government. It's collating petrol prices and diesel prices in real time
00:10from petrol stations and third-party apps and websites can access that information and create
00:17tools that customers can use to compare costs in real time. The vast majority of forecourts
00:23have signed up to this 92% and prices should be updated 30 minutes within 30 minutes of
00:30any changes being made. So that should give you a really good picture of what prices are
00:34doing right now. There are lots of different sites and third-party apps as I mentioned
00:38where you can find the cheapest prices near you. So these include petrolprices.com, Fuelspy
00:43and Fuel Finder UK. Others are available and you can use them in two ways. You can either
00:48put in your postcode or some apps will actually allow you to use your location and that could
00:53be quite handy if you're on the go and you need to fill up your tank and you need to
00:58find
00:58the best possible price.
