00:00Hi, I'm Halle Bailey.
00:02And I'm Regé-Jean Page.
00:03Your character is Anna.
00:04My character is Anna.
00:05She is a bit of a wild card, you know?
00:09She's all over the place.
00:10She's still figuring out life.
00:12Physically and emotionally and mentally.
00:15Yes, yes.
00:16Very impulsive, but you know, she's got something.
00:20She's a chef.
00:21She's an inspiring chef.
00:23And she has lots of hopes and dreams
00:24and just kind of lost her way along the way.
00:28And you see her pick herself back up and lie through a lot.
00:32Lost her way all the way in somebody else's house?
00:33Yes.
00:35She lies through a lot.
00:37Gets to meet this one here.
00:40And you see them kind of explore their journey together.
00:44And what that turns into, I don't know.
00:46You have to go to the theater.
00:47It's a female.
00:48This one over here is called Michael.
00:51He is a little stuck in a rut.
00:53He's kind of the serious one in the family.
00:55He's looking after the family,
00:56looking after the family business,
00:57worrying about everyone else,
00:58and never making time for himself,
01:00right up until this ray of sunshine
01:02comes dancing into his life,
01:04pretending to be married to another member of his family,
01:07which is a problem because this one has kind of a thing
01:09for this one over here.
01:11Yeah.
01:12And from there, eventually,
01:14they kind of save each other
01:15because they see mutual lost souls.
01:19and they find comfort, joy, and maybe even love.
01:23It's so important for us to see black love,
01:26black laughter, black joy on screen.
01:29Especially these days.
01:30We need to laugh.
01:31We need to feel hopeful and happy.
01:33And also because it's real.
01:35It's a reflection of our real-life stories,
01:38of love that we have in our families,
01:40and it's beautiful to see it on a big screen.
01:43Yeah, we need to see that love
01:44because it exists in the real world.
01:45We need to reflect it back into the real world.
01:47Yeah.
01:47We want people to feel loved,
01:49or we want people to feel like life is more possible,
01:51and we want people to feel like they have less boundaries
01:53in their life,
01:53like there are no borders,
01:54or they can go out and live the best life
01:56with no restrictions.
01:57How do people channel their inner whimsical dreamer?
02:00I feel like that's a Hallie question.
02:01You know,
02:02I think you gotta give yourself pockets of love.
02:06Life is a blessing.
02:07This is a beautiful gift that you are here,
02:09and you have so much that you could do with your life,
02:11and be hopeful and inspired for the future,
02:13and you are loved.
02:14So just reminding yourself of those things
02:16whenever you feel in a rut.
02:19Amen.
02:21The biggest joy for me making this movie
02:22was getting to make it with you.
02:24Aww.
02:24I think having a co-star who is so generous,
02:27so charming, so disarming,
02:28so willing to turn up every day
02:29and kind of play the game
02:31and take those risks
02:32and kind of really get into it
02:33and deliver those characters.
02:35I would say the same for you.
02:37Yeah.
02:38Getting to know reggae,
02:39getting to know the beautiful cast on set,
02:41I feel like it was just a labor of love.
02:43We all became like a big family.
02:46Yep.
02:46And, yeah, we...
02:48I'm excited to see everybody at the premiere.
02:50Yes.
02:50Because we haven't seen them.
02:51It's just been us this whole time.
02:53Yeah.
02:54Which has been nice.
02:55Which has been great.
02:55Yeah, it's been great.
02:56You know, other people good too.
02:58Yeah.
03:00We'll see you next time.
03:01Bye.
03:01Bye.
03:01Bye.
03:03Bye.
03:09Bye.
03:10Bye.
03:11Bye.
