00:01So we're here at London Zoo today to unveil a new UK two-pound coin that's
00:06been issued to celebrate the bicentenary of ZSL. So the design process is really
00:10collaborative and we wanted to make sure that we showed not just striking images
00:13of the animals but species that were really important to ZSL and their
00:16conservation mission. So we start with the partulous snail from Polynesia. It's
00:22essentially extinct in the wild. We've been able to reintroduce following a
00:26breeding program. The dove again is very much endangered because of conflicts
00:31with the environment and our dramatic Sumatran tigers there's only about three
00:36or four hundred in the wild so it's great to have a coin which shows all three in
00:41the same place. We're really proud to be working with the Royal Mint because it's
00:45such a culturally important organization. It's a very exciting moment for us to
00:49celebrate 200 years of conservation, education and science. This amazing coin
00:55behind us is a representation of everything we do for the community.
00:59So the Royal Mint has a long history of marking important occasions like this for
01:03organizations and causes that are really important worldwide. So 200 years felt like
01:08the perfect moment to do this. A portion of net proceeds will be donated to ZSL so
01:13every coin that's purchased will go towards those donations that are made.
