00:11The Holy Father praised the hospitality and fraternity of a young and strong people which
00:17he had experienced repeatedly.
00:18He emphasized how in the Algerian heart, friendship, trust, and solidarity are not mere words,
00:25but important values that give warmth and strength to living together.
00:29The Pope also described Algeria as a player with a uniquely critical perspective on the
00:33global stage, given its history, and encouraged the country to contribute to a more just world
00:38through respect for human dignity and international solidarity.
00:42Furthermore, the Bishop of Rome defined political action as a service, saying authorities are
00:46called not to dominate but to serve the people, and added that justice is the fundamental criterion
00:51of all politics.
