Nine FIRs have been filed in the TCS Nashik case after employees alleged prolonged harassment.
Transcript
00:00For four years, employees at a TCS office complained about a pattern of alleged harassment.
00:04But the HR allegedly turned a blind eye.
00:06Here's everything we know so far about the TCS Nashik office controversy.
00:10On March 25, 2026, a woman walked into the Deolali camp police station.
00:14She said that between 2022 and 2026,
00:17three of her colleagues repeatedly targeted her religious sentiments.
00:20She also alleged that one male colleague sexually exploited and molested her multiple times.
00:25Four years inside a corporate office.
00:27Once the police started investigating, they put out an appeal.
00:30If anyone else had faced something similar, come forward.
00:33And they did.
00:34By April 3rd, nine FIRs had been filed.
00:37Of the nine, eight were filed by women.
00:39Most of the FIRs had one thing in common.
00:41They had already complained to HR and nothing was done.
00:44Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan went on to allege that the women were forced to offer namaz,
00:48eat beef and attempts were made to convert them to another religion.
00:57Those arrested include Asif Ansari, Shafi Sheik, Shahrukh Qureshi, Reza Meman, Taufey Rattar and Danish Sheik.
01:03Most of them have been reported to hold senior roles.
01:06A seventh accused, a woman, has not been named publicly.
01:09On April 12, TCS reacted to the incident.
01:11The company confirmed it had suspended the accused employees,
01:14calling it a zero-tolerance policy on harassment and coercion.
