00:00Rosmah Mansour told the High Court she never wore any of the 44 pieces of jewelry sent to her by
00:07a Lebanese company before the 2018 general election.
00:11She said she was busy campaigning for her husband, then Prime Minister Najib Razak, and that the jewelry was kept
00:17in a safe by her butler.
00:20Rosmah said she kept the items only to avoid offending Samir Hasib Halimeh, the founder of Global Royalty Trading SAL,
00:28who had been introduced to her by one of the wives of Brunei's Sultan Hassan al-Bolkir.
00:33She also said after Barisan Nasional lost the election, items from the Prime Minister's official residence, Sri Perdana, were moved
00:42to pavilion residences for temporary storage, including the jewelry.
00:47According to Rosmah, police later raided the unit and seized the items while she and her family were not there.
00:54She said that when she later checked on the jewelry, many items were missing.
