00:15Tunku Razali, also known as Kooli, said Akmal's actions aligned with UMNO's struggle, as outlined

00:25He also said Akmal should not be viewed as opposed to any particular ethnicity because

00:30of his outspokenness when it came to Malay-Muslim issues.

00:33Tunku Razali was responding to Johor DAP leader Dr. Boo Cheng Hao's call for Akmal to apologize

00:39to Kok and Malaysians for disrespecting religious rights.

00:43Kok had criticized the proposal for mandatory halal certification in food outlets not serving

00:48pork or alcohol, prompting Akmal to post a video calling her an old nyonya lady and telling

00:54her not to interfere in Islamic matters.

00:57Kok responded by threatening legal action, demanding 25 million ringgit in damages if

01:01Akmal does not retract his statements.
