00:00The European service module now separated from integrity, a job well done.
00:05The crew of Artemis II splashed down into the Pacific Ocean on April 10th, 2026, after nearly 10 days in
00:13space.
00:14Splashdown confirmed.
00:16Copy, splashdown, waiting on VLDR.
00:19Splashdown confirmed at 7.07pm Central Time, 5.07pm Pacific Time.
00:24The four astronauts travelled further away from Earth than any other humans have ever done before.
00:32At splashdown, the crew were met by NASA and U.S. military teams and were transported via helicopter to the
00:39USS John P. Mertha for medical assessments.
00:43And there you go. We now have all four Artemis II crew members on the USS John P. Mertha.
00:53Welcome back. Welcome, welcome home.
00:55When this started on April 3rd, I wanted to thank God in public.
01:02And I want to thank God again.
01:06Because even bigger than my challenge trying to describe what we went through,
01:11the gratitude of seeing what we saw, doing what we did, and being with who I was with,
01:20it's too big to just be in one body.
01:24And I wanted to thank our families for everything that he just said.
01:29So great words, great words, great words.
01:32I love you, but not just those five beautiful cocoa-skinned ladies right there.
01:39All of you.
01:42And I wanted to thank our leadership.
01:45And it's changed since we were here in April of 2023.
01:50But the qualities have it.
01:52And we are fortunate to be in this agency at this time together.
02:00And so I'm going to sit down.
02:02Thank you also to our air operations for this facility and for our ride home from San Diego.
02:09And I love you.
