Ex-revolutionaries are dragged into the same mess again, because the enemy resurfaces and someone’s daughter needs rescuing, the way it should have been done the first time. Less glossy hero stuff, more “how much damage can one past make?” If you like thrillers where paranoia is a weapon, this one’s for you.

Klar, das Ganze klingt nach klassischem Rache-Thriller. Aber der Trick ist, dass hier nicht nur gefeuert wird, sondern auch gezweifelt. Ex-Revolutionäre, alte Wunden, neue Pläne. Und irgendwo zwischen „wir wollten es doch richtig machen“ und „bitte nicht wieder alles ruinieren“ entsteht dieser Sog. One Battle After Another meint das nicht als Motto, sondern als Problem.
