KOMPAS.TV - Amerika Serikat mengklaim negosiasi dengan Iran berakhir tanpa kesepakatan.

Wakil Presiden AS James David Vance menyebut, pembicaraan selama 21 jam gagal setelah Iran menolak syarat utama AS, yakni tidak mengembangkan senjata nuklir.

00:09bicaraan selama 21 jam gagal setelah Iran menolak syarat utama Amerika Serikat,
00:15yakni tidak mengembangkan senjata nuklir.

00:57But the simple fact is that we need to see an affirmative commitment
01:01that they will not seek a nuclear weapon
01:04and they will not seek the tools that would enable them
01:07to quickly achieve a nuclear weapon.
01:09That is the core goal of the President of the United States
01:11and that's what we've tried to achieve through these negotiations.
01:15Again, their nuclear program, such as it is,
01:18the enrichment facilities that they had before,
01:22they've been destroyed.
01:23But the simple question is, do we see a fundamental commitment of will for the Iranians not to develop a
01:30nuclear weapon, not just now, not just two years from now, but for the long term?
01:33We haven't seen that yet.
01:34We hope that we will.
01:35Obviously, we were talking to the president consistently.
01:39I don't know how many times we talked to him, a half dozen times, a dozen times over the past
01:4221 hours.
01:43We obviously also talked to Admiral Cooper, to Pete, to Marco, to the entire national security team.
01:49We talked to Scott Besson a number of times.
01:50So, look, we were constantly in communication with the team because we were negotiating in good faith.
01:56And we leave here, and we leave here with a very simple proposal, a method of understanding that is our
02:04final and best offer.
02:06We'll see if the Iranians accept it.
02:08Thank you.
02:08Mr. President, where does this mean the Strait of Hormuz?
02:11Are we going back to Hormuz?
02:11Are we going back to Hormuz, sir?
02:12Are we going back to Hormuz, sir?
02:12Are we going back to Hormuz, sir?
02:12Are we going back to Hormuz, sir?
02:13Are we going back to Hormuz, sir?
02:13What about the Strait of Hormuz?
02:16Did they give you any indication of the Supreme?
