23:22Um, well, this was a night out in Vegas with my friends and we wanted to go incognito

23:29We were like, it'd be fun.
23:30Let's wear wigs.
23:31And first of all, my friends told me I looked really good in this wig before we went out.
23:37And I'm not so sure that I did, especially after a night of, you know, drinking in Vegas.

23:43Did you have a name for this character?
23:45Um, I didn't.

23:47She doesn't need a name.

24:00I dressed up as the Cheshire Cat and I was going for a very sexy costume there.

24:13I had this pink and purple on me for about three weeks.

24:38How'd you come up with that?
24:39That was, uh, I mean, it's a mumble jumble of my last name, Earl.
24:42You know, you turn it around.
24:43But, um, in college, my friends always made fun of me because a lot of, like, at the time
24:49when I was getting some traction on TikTok, people were like, she's so real, she's so real.
24:53And they were like, Alex, I mean, they're just saying anything you do is so real.
24:55So my friends would sort of mock me about it and became a thing.
24:58And, but it's something I always resonated with my content.
25:01I just thought, you know, I'm being honest on there and being real.
25:03And it's something I would use with my personal brand.
25:06And then when I was sitting in my, like, childhood bedroom one day and it was just on my notes
25:10app
25:10sort of, like, playing around with my name and I knew I wanted to create a brand.
25:15And I, you know.
25:16This was when?
25:16When you were in high school?
25:17No.
25:17Right after I graduated college.
25:19Um, so August of 2023.
25:22Yeah.
25:23And I was just playing around with the word real and my last name.
25:25And I was like, oh, this would be a really cool name for a brand.
25:28And before I even knew what it was going to be.
25:30Before you do anything.
25:31And you actually brought us a screenshot of your notes app.
25:33Yes.
25:33From August 10th, 2023.
25:36There you go.
25:36You called it.
25:37Real.

25:38That's what you wanted.

25:40You manifested it.
25:43You, you made it happen.

25:46You did a cool thing online with, like, these kind of puzzle pieces.
25:50Because no one knew what you were doing.
25:51It was like, WTF is Alex you're all up to?

25:55And we didn't know.
25:56And everyone was like, but then you,
25:57what, sent out, like, briefcases to, like, your friends?
26:00Yeah, you know, I was so scared about anyone.
26:02Because everyone has big mouths.
26:03I mean, I have a big mouth, you know.
26:04Yeah.
26:04So, um, I was just scared of anyone leaking this brand before it got out.
26:08So, I didn't really even tell that many people besides, like, my very, very close circle.
26:12And I sent friends, like, puzzle pieces.
26:13It was a whole, you know, live, I guess, game.
26:17For everyone to figure out what was going on.
26:19And WTF is Alex doing.
26:21And it sort of, it became, like, a little bit of a phenomenon.
26:23And your friends were like, what do I do with this puzzle piece?
26:25I sent them a puzzle piece and a locked suitcase.
26:28I was like, just post the puzzle piece.
26:29And, like, I promise it's all going to make sense soon.
26:31And they were like, can I not open this nice suitcase you sent me?
26:34Yeah.
26:34Can I get in here?
26:35But then everything became, every piece that was posted.
26:41So, we also had a billboard up in Soho where, as people were posting the pieces, they were
26:46putting them up on the billboard.
26:47So, you could kind of see it coming together in real time.
26:49In real time.
26:50I loved it.
26:51And then here's you with the finished product right there.
26:53Yes.

26:55And I have a funny story, actually.

27:00So, you know, the brand posts, I'm, this is two and a half years in the
27:04making them so nervous.
27:06And I'm like, you know, I'm texting my team.
27:08I'm like, you know, we've got to double check everything for the post.
27:11Like, don't, don't mess it up.
27:12Like, you know, this is our time.
27:14We're finally going.
27:15We have this brand video that we created.
27:17It was me in the water, whatever.
27:18It was this big thing.
27:20And I go to post it on TikTok today.
27:23And I'm ready for the announcement.
27:24I'm in my glam for this.
27:25I'm so excited.
27:26I post it.
27:27I put my phone down.
27:28I'm celebrating.
27:29I'm like, let's go.
27:31It's out there.

27:32And my CEO calls me.
27:34And she's like, Alex, like, you posted, and I guess it, like, suggested a song.

27:43And all of a sudden, I pull up my TikTok, and it's me in the water.
