00:00You know, if you really go back to a year ago when he won it and now where he is
00:04now, it's probably been five of the six rounds.
00:07Because if you remember right, in the opening round last year, I think he shot a 74 getting out of
00:12the gate there.
00:13So in your opinion, how has he dominated these last five rounds?
00:17And do you believe he can keep it up because he just looks so comfortable out there right now doing
00:22the loop?
00:23Yeah, he does.
00:24I think the biggest thing heading into the Masters and when you see a great player like Rory and I'm
00:31not the one to talk about, you know, in terms of form and technique, you're right.
00:34I'm still learning as we go.
00:36But at the end of the day, Dan, I think it's momentum, right?
00:39You're playing your best golf heading into this event.
00:41And now you start the first two rounds completely on fire.
00:46That momentum definitely carries through.
00:48And that really could break the will of multiple players in this field.
00:52I think that's the other thing, too, is that a player like Rory, the mental resolve, he's built for this
00:58type of course and he's built for this type of environment and stage.
01:02And not many players are.
01:04And that's why we've seen certain players dominate the Masters and others basically over the last couple of days fall
01:10off a cliff.
01:12Joe, do you think he's the greatest European player that we've ever seen on the PGA Tour?
01:18Oh, that's tough.
01:20I would probably say, in my opinion, Dan, yeah.
01:23I mean, again, you know, I think Rory has stepped up.
01:25He's answered his critics over the past couple of years.
01:28He's been outspoken.
01:30But at the end of the day, he backs it up with this play.
01:33And you see this performance right now, 12 under leading into today.
01:37I mean, that's a dominating performance.
01:39In my opinion, I think he's answered all the questions and the critics.
01:43I think he's one of the best European players that we've seen.
01:47Absolutely.
01:48And then one of only six men ever to win the career Grand Slam on top of that as well.
01:52So, I mean, it goes into an extreme category here.
01:55How about Patrick Reed?
01:56How do you think he can make any noise this weekend?
02:00Well, I mean, Pat Reed is definitely a name to keep an eye on.
02:03He's in the top 10 right now.
02:04He has an ability to close the gap.
02:06But again, can Pat Reed finish in a top five perspective?
02:10When you look at the odds, I think it's possible.
02:12Again, would you take a shot on Jon Rahm or some of the others?
02:16Maybe.
02:16But, I mean, Pat Reed right now, six under.
02:19I think he's got a very good shot to maybe get to nine under by Sunday.
02:22If he does that, then anything is possible to potentially be in the top five come Sunday afternoon.
02:30Guy came over from Liv is Brooks Koepka.
02:33You know, before he left for Liv, he was really dominating a lot of the majors,
02:37especially the United States Open.
02:38And here he is again.
02:40You know, he's in contention right now.
02:42Do you think he can make any noise this weekend?
02:44Today's moving day, obviously, Championship Sunday.
02:47Because of his past experiences being in big tournaments and major championships,
02:52do you think he can make a move?
02:54I mean, it's possible.
02:55Well, I mean, at the end of the day, Brooks Koepka is definitely a name to keep an eye out
02:59on.
03:00I mean, he's playing well.
03:01Has he played his best from Thursday heading into Saturday?
03:04No.
03:05But again, when you talk about players being able to move up the field and just dominate
03:10over the last couple of days, Koepka is a name to keep an eye out on.
03:14I think he has great value in the odds market.
03:16So, I mean, if he's going to do it, he's got to step up today on Saturday.
03:21So, Scotty Scheffler has kind of wobbled going into the weekend, hasn't he?
03:25I mean, here's a guy a year ago.
03:27It was like Byron Nelson kind of stuff, you know?
03:30All the championships that he was involved in.
03:32Guy was on the leaderboard top five a year ago.
03:35Was one of those Tiger Woods years.
03:37What do you make with him?
03:37Because he's one of those guys, Joe.
03:40He's very streaky.
03:41When he gets going, he's like a runaway train.
03:44Do you think he can get going here on moving day?
03:47It's possible.
03:48I think the biggest thing for Scotty Scheffler, if you watched his dominance,
03:52of just when he wins, there have been tournaments where he has come from behind.
03:56But typically, Scheffler's the guy that's really leading.
03:59He's like Rory, right?
04:01He dominates in the first couple of rounds, builds a huge lead,
04:04and then just breaks the will of everybody else.
04:07He hasn't been playing his best golf heading into Saturday,
04:10but he's still a name to keep an eye out on.
04:13I would take a shot on some of the others.
04:14I just feel like from the gambling perspective and the odds perspective, Dan,
04:20everybody's going to back Scheffler in this spot.
04:22I tend to just back away and look for other players to maybe take a shot
04:26and make a move over the next couple of days.
04:28I don't know.
