The Chinese Consulate General in Kolkata, Xu Wei, highlighted the growing popularity of Chinese films in India and announced a new cultural initiative.Speaking about the upcoming China Film Festival, Xu Wei said that audiences in India have shown great interest in Chinese cinema, especially Kung Fu, martial arts, and romantic films.The festival is scheduled to begin on April 17 and will showcase seven Chinese films across different genres at Nandan Theatre in Kolkata.The initiative aims to strengthen cultural ties between China and India through cinema and shared artistic experiences.

00:00When I was here in 2024, I received a lot of interest from India friends.
