00:39which is being organized by the indian consulate uh in jeddah so uh

00:44uh i'll begin to interact with foreign delegates delegates from all over the

00:51world from the field of films and music and you know in cinema and of course

00:56diplomats and ambassadors and consul generals from all over the world

01:00i'm very thankful uh to the uh you know the indian consulate uh uh in jeddah

01:06and the entire team for making this happen for me for inviting me

01:10or mujhe ye moka de rei ke mein apne gaane maha pe gaun indian songs gaun

01:14aur is saath mazay ki baat ye hai ke umraav jaan is the showcase

01:18uh or rekha ji bhi wahan pe hoongi aur uh muzaffir ali ji bhi hoongi so i am

01:23planning to sing two songs from umrao jaan dil cheez kya hai and in aakhon ki

01:28musti ke so uh i'm feeling very excited about that because

01:31bachpan se hi umrao jaan meri baut favorite film rahi hai

01:34aur ye dil cheez kya hai mene competition mein gana gaya tha

01:38aur uske jagjeet singh ji the and i remember i got the first prize so meri

01:43this is going to be a very very uh nostalgic sentimental and uh i will say

01:48ek bhoati bhoata destiny wala moment ki my gosh bachpan mein mein aapne sangeet ki

01:53shiruat isi gaane se ki thi aur aaj itne saal um you know life comes to a full circle

01:58and i'll get to perform this song there and of course some of my other popular songs like

02:02sajrabi jaan uh some sufi punjabi folk songs and of course bollywood to sabko pasand hai hi

02:07so rd verman ki bhoat saare songs joh joh humne prepare kare hai aap ki singing that as well

02:25i think it's a divine blessing uh muzaffar ali ji ko toh mein janti bhi hoon

02:29because unke vete murad ali meri bhoat uche dost hai shad ko bhi bhoat uche se janti hoon and uh

02:35i think uh i'm very i'm very happy that mujhe ye moka melega ki you know to pay tribute to them

02:41in my own way mele bhoat gar ki baad yes nervousness bhoat hai mujhe obviously i'm nervous also

03:56listening to also so it's gonna be a variety of music especially joh art tariqo joh humara show

04:01hai which is jaha peh red sea uh international film festivals ke bohut sare delegates uh vaha pe

04:07honge so i'm really looking forward to performing at that global stage where a lot of international

04:13people will be there aur ninth ko merah show sirf indians ke liye hai vaha pe joh indians settled

04:19hain from the indian embassy and the consulate so uh uh mujhe moka milga ke vaha pe mein bollywood

04:25ke sare hi uh you know retro bhi or contemporary songs bhi jo bhi aaj ke hits hain blockbuster hits

04:32aaj ke or purane zamaane ke sare hi gaane gaoungi because vaha pe i know that uh ik bollywood ka tribute

04:38zarur pe karungi mein udhar and uh i'm looking forward to that

04:43afti music identity super soul of contemporary pop ki grand vision afti kya sakti ki global audience

04:49kya indian fusion ka consul river tata resumate kata i think jo uh kyunke mein itna live perform

04:57kerti hu in not just in india but all over the world hali mein mein new zealand mein thi

05:02aur new zealand mein meinne vaha pe again vaha pe bhi mujhe uh vaha ki uh indian consulate

05:08nehi bulaya tha to perform for the indian independence day celebrations

05:11to humari chief guest thai vaha ke new zealand ke prime minister um the honorable uh christopher

05:18laksan ji toh woh saamne baithi huye thai bilkul and uh jambi nne damada maskal

05:22ander gaana shuru kiya toh unhohne gola i would love to join you on stage i was so honored and i was

05:27so thrilled woh stage pe aake unhohne meri saath dance kiya damada maskal ander jase

05:32gaane pe jeske shahad shabd unko meaning nahi shahad pata lakin music has no language

05:37is baat se hi toh proof hota hi hai so woh bhi aya stage pe aur pher saath hi saath unhohne invite

05:42kiya uh the leader of the opposition na ki aap bhi aaye you also you know because music is a binding

05:49factor so ek india new zealand ki jo ek friendship hai that was marked through culture through art

05:55and through music so jaisi maine kaha ki uh music really has no language you can perform anywhere

06:03it's the language of love it's the language of unity it's the language of friendship

06:08or yehi cheez mein saudi arabia mein karna chaoongi aur mein pehli baar zindagi mein saudi arabia

06:13ja rahi hoon jeddah ja rahi hoon uh at the very very prestigious uh the part of celebration of

06:19red sea film festival and a big big big thanks to uh the consulate general of india jeddah jinnon

06:28uh it's an energy exchange when you're performing on stage

06:46usi sammyeh pata chalda ka audience aapke saath kis tariqe se konsi frequency pe tune in hoi hai

06:59ko tune in hona bhot important hai so also audience is king i feel ke unko is this type

07:05ka music person da raha hai ya unse poochha jata kiya you know i hope you like this um you know so

07:11then you have to sing to what they like they just get in play to the galleries

07:21so aap yis taizil ko an international audience ka kaise cancrete karthi without losing its

07:26original audience aap mein jo ye gaane hai uh ye film bhi hai aur ye gaane bhi hai ye masterpiece

07:34hain in themselves so i think gaane itnye khubsoorat hain ki of course i cannot even compare to

07:41what asha ji who's my idol the way she has sung and rendered them

07:45mein toh of course isko apne tariqe se hi uh gaoungi but as a more as a tribute

07:50but jo original hain wo original hain i think nothing can beat that

07:53aad india ki entertainment industry global state ka unprecedented visibility enjoy

07:59kar rahi hai taakko kiya lagta ki humare next global breakout wave to this direction

08:03te aaygi four classical india fusion i think pehle toh suraf classical music ka hi bol bala tha

08:10kyunke mein iccr yaani ki indian council for cultural relation ki em panel artist hoon

08:15toh toh iccr ne jab yeh moheen uh shuru ki thi it was like a revolution in itself ki uh wo indian

08:22artist ko bahar bhejhte the to represent the indian culture in festivals abroad right toh usmeh

08:28bollywood ya fusion ki category nahi hua karthi thi but jab mein panel hui toh us sameh ushi saal

08:36bollywood ki category ko introduce kiya gya and i was very fortunate that i was impaneled and i was given this

08:42honor or ushi saal mujhe bheja gya toronto me jaha peh mehne perform kiya at the bharat parvasi divas

08:50and uh i sang to all the nri settled uh in in canada who are really doing our country proud

08:58aur isi tari ki se peri journey shuru hoi iccr ke saath peh next unhoonni mujhe bheja maurisius

09:04to celebrate the uh independence day celebrations in maurisius and uske baad mein gai uh egypt

09:10to uh to be a part of india in egypt so aise karte karte mein bahaat saari countries ja chukhi

09:16hun last year unesco ne mujhe bheja tha uzbekistan to perform in one of the most beautiful music

09:23festivals called shark taran nalari aur vaha pe meinne closing ceremony mein gane gaya

09:28te aur vaha pe meinne jay ho jab gaya toh whole audience knew the song i sang uh uh

09:35uh bapida songs which are like anthems there uh jimmy jimmy jimmy disco i am a disco dancer

09:41matlab waha pe audience paancha zaar ki audience sabne ek ekne saare words and saare lyrics

09:47uh saath mein gaya mehne toh bhoati magical bhoati epic moment tha so i'm very happy that dunya ke

09:53kone kone mein humara indian music itna mashour hote ja raha hai and we really need that we need to be

09:59winning grammys and oscars very often uh ai music tools baor rapidly evolve ho ra hai ta aapka

10:07personally ai ko a collaborative competitor ya se creative tool ke rup mein dikhti hai

10:13i think to me ai is an assistant aapka secretary hai like your helping hand something which can

10:20support you and help you ai ko kabhi aap take over mat karne dije because ai mein moosol nahi hai

10:25that heart is not there which a human uh element is missing obviously but yes precision hai ek uh

10:33fada-fada se aapka kaam ho jaata hai but that doesn't mean ka aap uske itne dependent ho

10:37jaayin ka aap uske itne dependent ho jaayin ka aap na jo aap hai aap pa jo asal asal hai aap uspe

10:52baap usaiye in sub teezo ko just use him responsibly and just use it to help you as an assistant

11:10hoi nahi sakta you can i'm sure jab whoi bhi singer or even asha ji who's originally sung this

11:16moment like monumental song toh woh bhi har baar usko ek nahi nuance ke saath uh nahi nukhton ke

11:29nahi aati hai gaane mein jabi mein apna gaana sajana abhi ja gaati ho meinne i think i must

11:34have performed it like thousands and thousands of time by now jabi mein perform kerti hoon muji

11:39like mein har bar usme kuch toh nahi pen ndaali deiti hoon so that is what is called the human element

11:44aur ai kabhi aise kari nahi sakta

11:54dil merah hai nahi lagda tere bina

11:59dil merah sajana abhi jaha sajana ahi jaha

12:14aap ke liye live shows kya hain india aur global venues par aako kya lagta hai ki india ke concert

12:20infrastructure abhi bhi world centers ke kita peech hai

12:23so i personally feel that uh indian artists indian talent toh baut hi uh baku bhi hai

12:31baut amazing hai but uh the production element kiunki usmei budgets involved hoote hai

12:36agar aap bhaar ki shows deko toh lighting unke unke stages unke hydraulics uh the effects which

12:42happen production mei baut baut uh mehinat bhi hoti hai aur paisa bhi spend kya jata hai budgets

12:48baut baut baut hai hoti hai so if that were possible in india i think india would be

12:53comparable to any big international uh act

13:07india me yeah uh crowd management you get bohat biomedic crowd manage ho he nahi paata hai

13:14and uh definitely uh there has to be everything has to be very organized uh and the production

13:20has to be much better and i think humare ek artist daljeet dosanj ne is tiz ko baut hi world stage

13:27pe leke aahi gai hai ki unke saare shows worldwide bhi sold out rehte hain so agar daljeet kar sakte hai

13:33i'm sure there are many other artists you can do i mean my favorite artist is of course

13:36arijeet singh and i'm i'm i'm i really really admire daljeet also but i'm sure arijeet ji ko bhi

13:43us type ka like you know us type ka production baghaira value bile

13:47to i think we are on the world stage here very soon

14:02yes you're right uh one thinks twice about about going because uh hygiene

14:12ka factor hai pher maha pe gandagi pher dhaka mukhi in sub-cheese on se dar ke

14:17uh you know kai loog nahi jaha paate or also they they they think twice about it so i think

14:23also i think overall humare desh mera uh civic sense hygiene cleanliness ki baut baut kami

14:29hain agar yeh cheez ham ah conquer kar lehen so i think the as i said we are global and we are we can be on the top number one

14:52i think decade may itna kuch batal gaya hai jyase apne kavi ai is kind of becoming the obsession with everybody

14:58uh digital uh digital everything has become so digital music bia hamara is on a click now

15:05uh when i started my career in 1998 with hoga yeh mahobat uh audio cassettes or cds hot

15:11they they so haat mein yamara music it was tangible abhi intangible ho gaya hai

15:16but i i think your question is ki aap kya advice dena chahengi uh humare upcoming artists ke liye right

15:22i would just want to say that be original because bohut sahi jagha mein dekhli hu ki people are just

15:28riding on covers riding on on doing remixes or recreations and covers usse aage hatye

15:35and be an individual be unusual be unique be you simple be original

15:42aap apni is performance ko jaap red sea international professional ko

15:45uh i think it's a new beginning for a country which ever i have not performed performed before

16:04uh it's definitely a new chapter it is uh it is a milestone

16:08uh this type of shows which are non-commercial shows this is a show which is a part of uh india

16:18and saudi arabia friendship through the world of cinema and entertainment

16:22to uske through agar ham ja rahe hai as a representative to bohut it's a substantial

16:27thing bohuti garthi baat hai bohut it's a very proud moment for me of course and of course uh from

16:32here on it begins a new chapter jahan pe may bhi unka culture embrace karo may bhi unke singers

16:37ke baare me kuch jaanogi kya pata may bhi kuch collaboration uh karpa hun ke saath it's a new

16:42culture that we're embracing and each time i go to a different country and i'm performing like

16:46this may us desh ke baare me mujhe kuch naa seekne ko milta hai so yes definitely i would say this is

16:52truly a milestone a tribute it's it's everything rolled into one

16:55again i think it's it'll be a combination of this and many more it'll be excitement it'll be thrill
