00:00So how was your first experience here and how do you see the scenic beauty around the Kashmir?
00:04Yeah, so my experience, I mean I arrived yesterday so I don't have a lot of, I spend a lot
00:09of time here but
00:10I think it's a very big festival so the experience has been very very good and very impressive you know
00:16all the organization and all the people that is involved, all the people that is invited to the festival
00:20so I'm very happy to be here because I didn't expect you know that big festival
00:26even because it's the first edition so normally the first editions are not that big so I'm very impressed
00:31and congratulations from the team of the film festival, yeah.
00:35And another thing that this is going to open the door is for the international filmmakers to shoot the film
00:40festival?
00:40Yeah, of course, I think it's one of the, when you make a film festival, one of the main focuses
00:45is that
00:46to open the countries, open the cities to the filmmakers, to the producers, to you know, to know the place
00:53in the industry
00:54and to start making this kind of industry and to bring people here to know the places because you know
00:59the landscape it's very very nice
01:01you know the mountains, the lake, the lights, it's very nice so I think it's a good place where you
01:06can shoot
01:06so that's one of the focus of the festival, it has to be that, to bring people here to know
01:11the place as I'm here today.
01:13Now I know Kashmir and now maybe when I think on a mountain, maybe my brain brings me here to
01:18Kashmir and I wanted to come here to shoot, no?
01:20And this festival is also going to serve as a, you know, a bigger opportunity for the local artists of
01:25Kashmir Rally as well.
01:26Be it in the Bollywood or in the Hollywood.
01:28We've got a scarcity.
01:29Local artists are also going to be the biggest opportunity for the festival because they are going to be the
01:36part of this.
01:36And we have yesterday seen that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the students as well.
01:41They have just seen their careers, they haven't seen the, you know, back pictures of that.
01:45So do you think that this opportunity will be repealed and this opportunity will be served as the biggest opportunity?
01:51Yeah, yeah, for the local, yeah, for Bollywood and Hollywood, yeah, of course it is.
01:55So this is, I mean, it's very important to learn, to teach the people, to show how the cinema is
02:04made, to push, you know, the students to study cinema, DOP, for being an artist director, for being a producer.
02:13So you create, you have to create this atmosphere of, you know, cinema.
02:17And, of course, I think that if you have a good cruise, good quality, good people working that I'm sure,
02:22and I really know it because I shot in India, you have it in India, people will come here to
02:26shoot.
02:27So this is very important to, you know, to promote the academies, the universities of cinema and to bring people
02:32here, to study here and to stay here based.
02:35And to also to push people to study that and to make them believe that they can have a job,
02:42a good job.
02:42And after that, I think the people will come by themselves.
02:46too much for themselves.
02:46So, if you would've decided to focus on what s the entire model is necessary for their own identity,
