00:00Let's flip it over, Tom, to the AL Cy Young Award,
00:02which most people just figure it's going to eventually be Tarek Skubal.
00:05Actually, back-to-back losses by Detroit with two of their aces on the mound.
00:08But he still sits at a 25% chance on the Calci marketplace, Tom,
00:12to be the AL Cy Young Award winner,
00:14followed by Jose Soriano of the Los Angeles Angels at 19%.
00:18And closely, how about the Yankees?
00:19Cam Schlittler here at 18%,
00:22and then Crochet Woo Freed as you go down the list here.
00:25How are we thinking the AL Cy Young market
00:27after just a couple of starts for some of these guys is shaping up?
00:30It's a bit much on Skubal, and I'm a massive Skubal supporter.
00:33He's looked good. He hasn't looked great.
00:36But, you know, suggesting that he is the runaway favorite
00:38or trending to be the runaway favorite
00:40is just way too much for me at this point.
00:42Crochet has looked good.
00:44You know, really for me, I think Brian Woo is the right answer.
00:47And, Donnie, we talked about this preseason.
00:48You know, if there's any player that I want to back to the AL Cy Young market,
00:51it's going to be Brian Woo,
00:52because I believe he has the skill to get it done.
00:54We're getting him at a good spot in the market overall.
00:56And no one has really taken that step forward to be the runaway favorite.
01:00Now, granted, there's two, three stars for some of these pitchers.
01:02It's really not that far into the season.
01:04But we can make a case for Max Freed.
01:06You can make a case for Cam Schlittler.
01:08But I really believe Woo is that perfect combination
01:10of what the market is seeing
01:11and really his performances on the mound thus far.
01:14Hmm.
