00:00So what's your experience has been like of 15 years as the MP for Kira?
00:04That's the greatest privilege of my professional life. It has been and always will be.
00:08I get to service a community that I love, that I've been a part of, and a region I've been
00:13part of all my life,
00:15Australia's oldest parliament, and it's something that is truly humbling.
00:19I don't take a day for granted, and it's been an incredible privilege.
00:23And what would be your top three achievements in that time?
00:25I think my top three achievements locally would be around making sure that Bullo Hospital was saved
00:31and now seven days a week as an urgent care centre I know has made a real difference to the
00:37local community.
00:38Making sure that we're rolling out those ratios at our local hospital,
00:42and the investment that's going into Wollongong Hospital is something that I know will make a real difference
00:47going forward to healthcare, and of course, what we're doing at the Mount Oosley Interchange,
00:51one of the largest and most complex pieces of infrastructure seen in our local community,
00:57but one that will save lives, keep people safe, but also improve road efficiency
01:02for many, many commuters who use that every day.
