00:09When nurses and midwives are under attack, what do we do? Stand up, fight back!

00:22The people of NSW know that they can trust nurses and midwives.

00:25The people of NSW know that nurses and midwives are always there for them.

00:29Midwives are there at the beginning of your life and a nurse is likely there at the end of your life.

00:34And all the way in between, we are there caring for the people of NSW.

00:38And it's about time that this government, who came in on the ticket of promising that they were going to look after us

00:45and they were going to actually improve the health service, have done nothing.

00:49Absolutely nothing. They've delivered nothing. They've made massive promises.

00:53They've been on social media, on the news, telling how fabulous they are and all these wonderful things they're doing

00:59and they've done nothing for nurses and midwives.

01:01We went into good faith negotiations with them and they have not come to the table with anything meaningful.

01:07They have disrespected us and that is a big mistake because there are a lot of us, the community trusts us

01:13and we know what's important and what's important is looking after the people of this state.

01:21And we can't do that on 2008 wages because we can't even look after ourselves.

01:27And that is such a disgrace and such a betrayal and we are so angry.
