Even routine appointments can come with a moment that catches everyone off guard.

Keyanna records her daughter as she waits ahead of dental surgery.

The child speaks up and repeatedly asks, “Who’s asthma?” while looking around the room.

The unexpected wording turns a standard pre-procedure wait into a brief, memorable exchange.

The moment ends as the girl continues talking while the appointment setting stays calm and clinical.

02:17It'll be general anesthesia, so she's going to be all the way off to sleep, won't know
02:20or feel anything while the doctor and Danny gets all of this work done.
02:23In just a little bit, we're going to head back to the operating room.

02:29she'll go off to sleep breathing the bubble gum air.
02:31Okay.
02:31After she's all the way off to sleep, we'll put in an IV.

02:37Mama, I got to brush my teeth.
02:39And then put in a breathing tube to help support her breathing and help keep her safe.
02:43Okay.
02:43Because Dr. Danny's working in her mouth, the breathing tube goes in through her nose.
02:46She'll get the tube pain from the bathroom.
02:49She'll stay completely asleep and comfortable.
02:51At the end of the procedure, we'll take the breathing tube out before she's awake.
