As heavy snow fell during Storm Goretti on January 8, 2026, the entire night sky turned a vivid, glowing pink.
The video shows the neighborhood bathed in a deep magenta light, with the falling snow reflecting the color back onto the streets and houses.
The glow came from powerful pink LED grow lights at St. Andrew’s Stadium (home of Birmingham City Football Club), which are used to help the pitch recover during the winter.
