01:36could script it if you want players have tough decisions to make impossible
01:41decisions may be made by young men previously they did not get paid now you can
01:48make some good money coming back once impoverished now an opportunity at famous

02:04round NBA contract might be something that you know people say I'm gonna take the
02:09cash which you know can't blame anybody for doing you do what's your life your
02:13decision do what's best for you and in this day and age transfers aren't as as
02:20devastating as they used to be because or somebody going pro because you could
02:23just replace him by a veteran transfer um but they made the list of the players
02:29with the toughest decisions to make Michigan should be really good in the
02:32backcourt with Cadeau McKinney back uh that doesn't sound like they're gonna have
02:36LJ Cason as they're already talking about red shirting him next year the late
02:39season knee injury uh great recruiting class coming in and so we'll see how it
02:45plays itself out but Scott anything new on the Michigan State guys not that I've
02:50heard of no um I I think they feel pretty confident they'll be able to hang on to uh
02:55to their players um but what they're gonna have to try to do is is replace the two
03:01bigs that are leaving yeah um in Cooper and Kohler and that's uh that might be a
03:06little bit more that's where the portal comes up a lot of Michigan State is do
03:10they go into the portal for yeah I think Michigan State will enter the portal
03:13they they will and they have yeah um but I don't think they're gonna do it
03:18in a massive way with the team they have they probably don't need to right I mean
03:23they've got a lot of returning guys back yeah and you've got to keep those guys
03:26there and keep those guys there you got to pay those guys they got a good
03:29recruiting class coming a really good recruiting class coming in and they've got a
03:33couple guys last year from the recruiting class who didn't play that are not ready
03:37to play so uh there's a there's reason to be optimistic about Michigan State but
03:42can they hang on to everybody because you know that people are going to come
03:44calling um it's it's illegal to contact these players unless they've ended the
03:49portal but you know what happens I'm sure that there are teams that have reached
03:52out to to Cohen Carr and Jeremy Fears and others it's kind of the way that this is
03:58done is agents of players are who gets contacted the players themselves don't get
04:04contacted it's the players representatives that either start calling or get calls
04:10whether players in the portal or not well I'm sure they're getting calls I don't
04:14know if I don't think that the I don't get the impression that Spartan players are
04:18making calls well they they should be and here's why uh everybody should be to find
04:23out if somebody is going to give you more money so you can go back and negotiate
04:26where you are for your own best interest but that's just the way it is now
