00:08were cremated at Xiao'en Memorial Park in Nilai on Wednesday.
00:12The van carrying his remains arrived at the crematorium at 12.18pm.
00:17The nearly hour-long ceremony was held in a sombre and dignified atmosphere.
00:22Among those present was MCA President Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Xiong,
00:27along with other associates who paid their last respects by laying floral tributes in his honour.
00:34Dr Ling died at the age of 82 last Saturday.
00:37He is survived by his wife, Tho Puan Ong Eena, and their two sons.
00:42He was among the longest-serving cabinet members,
00:45having led the transport ministry for 17 years from 1986 until his resignation in 2003.
