00:23Shelta volunteers asked me if I could film a couple of urgent dogs.
00:27And to be fully honest, I was pretty scared.
00:29Since I've never walked down the roads of a high-kill shelter before.
00:35I remember slowing down when I saw Stevie,
00:37because I was just so taken aback by his presence.
00:42I'm sorry you're in here.
00:44I just want to sit with him. I love you so much.
00:47He had this look in his eyes where he was just expressing hope
00:50that I was there to get him out.
00:54I started raising pledges for his rescue.
00:56We're trying to get you out,
00:58and people have been pledging.
01:00Another volunteer connected me to the amazing Good Tales rescue,
01:03who said yes to Stevie immediately.
01:16So we fell in love with him very quickly.
01:19Oh, you're so handsome.
01:21He was pretty sick when we first got him home,
01:23but he just really wanted to be loved.
01:26He was always in great spirits.
01:29And then as he started to feel better,
01:31he would just shine.
01:33Oh, yeah.
01:35I would be in my office trying to work.
01:37Oh, my goodness.
01:39Oh, now you give me a pop.
01:41Trying is the key word.
01:42Oh, my goodness.
01:43Now he stopped petting you, huh?
01:45You're not letting me work.
01:47What am I to do?
01:49He just demanded the attention.
01:51At any point in time,
01:52he will roll over and want his belly rubbed.
01:56It's a squishy, squishy, squishy, squishy.
02:03I feel like his perfect home is one where he's kind of his people's whole world.
02:12Be nice and calm.
02:14Where he gets lots of special love and attention.
02:17He's a very loving, trusting boy and just wants you to love him back.
02:22I think he's made for snuggles.
02:25He would probably do that all day long if it was his choice.
02:30He's a giant puppy.
02:32You just tell there's something going on with this dog that's so special.
02:37And whoever ends up adopting him is just going to have a fantastic time
02:41and be showered with love.
