00:00:44And when we do so, we are brought into proximity of one of the most interesting word pictures.
00:00:53It is the 30th proverb, or Mashal.
00:00:58And in it, there are some very profound questions that are asked.
00:01:03This proverb should, of course, be near and dear to our hearts because it is the one which follows this
00:01:10that, well, changed much of what we had previously thought relative to the people and places,
00:01:21timing of events throughout God's story.
00:01:25It is the final word picture, which, of course, launched a whole series of programs,
00:01:31an entirely new book called Coming Home for Mayoreth Luminaries.
00:01:38As we were confronted with in this final word picture, a portrait of how Dode's failed relationship
00:01:51with Yawa was ultimately resolved by a person he referred to as his mother.
00:02:00And it wasn't his birth mother because he shamed her, calling her a whore.
00:02:06However, it was a surrogate mother, at least on this occasion, and she and her husband played
00:02:16the pivotal role in restoring Dode's relationship with Yawa.
00:02:21And as we pursued that, it led to the floodgates of understanding being opened to us.
00:02:29Well, this is the proverb, or Mashal, that precedes it.
00:02:35And it is particularly relevant to this discussion on Yawa's name.
00:02:43So let's turn to it now and determine Yawa's perspective on such thing.
00:02:48It begins with the lyricist, who refers to himself as Agur ben Yaka, a child burning to gather and receive.
00:02:59He introduces himself.
00:03:02The word of Agur.
00:03:05Agur means to be gathered in and received in the harvest.
00:03:12It's a, could be a synonym for the covenant family, could be a synonym for Dode and his representation of
00:03:26Yauda.
00:03:27It could be Dode's herald.
00:03:31The son of Yaka.
00:03:35Yaka is burning passion and blazing fire.
00:03:39It, of course, is a synonym for Yawa's brilliant light and his passion for Yauda.
00:03:47But it is also possible that when speaking of being gathered in and received in the harvest,
00:03:55and of a burning and blazing light,
00:03:58that we turn our attention to the greater and lesser luminaries of Genesis 1,
00:04:05who, as the sun and moon, are significant players throughout Yawa's story,
00:04:13particularly as it relates to the harvest,
00:04:16Bukurim, Shabuwa, and Teruwa with Yawa.
00:04:21And so this could also be the intent because it speaks of Agur,
00:04:30the one gathered in and received in the harvest,
00:04:34who is the son of Yaka, a fiery passion and bright light,
00:04:41as the one who is uplifting, as the one who bears burdens.
00:04:49And this would speak to either of the mayor, the luminaries,
00:04:54and that one bore our burdens on Matzah 2,000 years ago,
00:05:01and the other will bear the burdens of the remnant on Teruwa just seven years from now.
00:05:07So it is exceedingly interesting as to how this begins.
00:05:14Now, the challenge of correctly deducing the meaning of words,
00:05:20as well as the names which are derived from them,
00:05:23is, I think, highlighted when considering the synonym Yaka,
00:05:29burning passion, blazing light, if you will.
00:05:33And in this case, it takes some doing.
00:05:36Most scholars realize that Yaka is based upon Wu, Yaka'a.
00:05:43What you didn't see there is that one of the studio lights we have here
00:05:48decided that it would slam against the table that I'm sitting behind.
00:05:53It's a formidable breeze that we have going here, king of the cables.
00:06:04It is, the show must go on, as they say.
00:06:09Let's hope that this advanced shore mic is up to the occasion.
00:06:16So, as I've said, a number of scholars, they will acknowledge that Yaka, this name, was based upon Yaka'a.
00:06:27But that is where they often go astray, because they would have us believe it means obedience.
00:06:36But by pronouncing religious nonsense, communicators and translators not only demonstrate collective ignorance and complete unawareness of the author's intent,
00:06:51they remain clueless as to who is speaking in this mishal and what is being revealed.
00:06:59And I think that's inexcusable, because all we have to do to comprehend who is communicating with us
00:07:05is to appreciate what they represent.
00:07:10And to understand the object and the moral of the story is to consider Yawa's use of Yaka'a.
00:07:19It is deployed twice, once in Barashith, Genesis 49.10, and the other is in the 17th verse of this
00:07:29very mishal, this proverb.
00:07:32And in both places, burning passion and fiery light serves as a more reasonable rendering.
00:07:43Ah, thank you. We're going to see if we can lock in our lights and our cables a little bit
00:07:48more as everything.
00:07:52Excuse me, as I'm laughing as we're trying to move things.
00:07:55It's amazing how strong the wind can be.
00:07:58But in this particular case, when you have the agor speaking of being taken in the harvest,
00:08:07and then we see Yaka speaking of this idea of burning passion for the fiery light
00:08:21and of loving the enlightening nature of the light,
00:08:29we have another ode directly to the two individuals who serve as Yawa's maoreth, luminaries.
00:08:40They are the men who we're told fulfill the moedim,
00:08:47the restoring witnesses to the eternal testimony.
00:08:51And in particular, it's Dodd who enabled the Bokodim harvest,
00:08:55and it is Yada who is responsible for Shabuwa and Teruwa.
00:09:04So, it would be one of the two who is speaking to us here.
00:09:10And based upon the text and what we have learned thus far,
00:09:17it would be the Katan mayor, who will be addressing the Gadol mayor.
00:09:28Now, since this chapter is devoted to understanding the names Yawa revealed,
00:09:34including Yawa's name, let's delve in headfirst
00:09:38and see what we can learn prior to returning to this Mishal proverb.
00:09:44It is perfect because it is among the most difficult to translate,
00:09:49making it an ideal environment for us to explore using the resources at our disposal.
00:09:57So, as we press ahead, we are confronted with a series of words with many meanings,
00:10:03most of which are misrepresented in almost every Bible translation,
00:10:09as the religious are wont to do.
00:10:11These include the noun Shabat, the verb Shur, the name Yaudah,
00:10:19the verb Mekuk, and the actionable preposition Be-in.
00:10:26Even the noun Regel, the preposition and noun Ad, or Ad,
00:10:33depending on how you choose to vocalize it,
00:10:35and the title Shiloh, currently transliterated by most as Shiloh.
00:10:45And all of that comes before we even encounter the definition of Yaka'ah.
00:10:54Now, to set the scene,
00:10:58Yaka'ah, now known as Yisrael,
00:11:01is telling his sons what will befall their descendants
00:11:05at some point in the very distant future.
00:11:08The passage containing Yaka'ah is the eighth pronouncement regarding Yaudah,
00:11:18his fourth son with Leah, who is his first wife.
00:11:25It reads,
00:11:27the tribes and people,
00:11:30the staff and the scepter,
00:11:33as well as the writing implement of the branch.
00:11:37This is from Shabat,
00:11:39a word that conveys all of those things,
00:11:41the tribes and the people,
00:11:44typically speaking of Yisrael,
00:11:46the staff of a shepherd,
00:11:47the scepter of a ruler,
00:11:49and the writing implement of the branch,
00:11:52of which there are two,
00:11:55Dod and Yadah.
00:11:57It speaks of the major subdivisions of the nation,
00:12:00and this clan.
00:12:03It's used in regard to one of Yaka'ah's twelve sons,
00:12:08the people from the same race,
00:12:12Yaudah, since it is singular,
00:12:14the walking stick,
00:12:16the pen,
00:12:16and the rod of the ruler,
00:12:18the implement which is sharpened to inscribe and influence,
00:12:21and the ruler and his spear.
00:12:27So it says,
00:12:28the tribes and the people,
00:12:30the staff and the scepter,
00:12:31the writing implement of the branch,
00:12:33will not be taken away.
00:12:37This is low shore.
00:12:39When brought back,
00:12:40will not be removed or depart again.
00:12:43He will not be abolished, separated,
00:12:46neither rejected nor forsaken from Yaudah.
00:12:51Yaudah is a compound of Yahuah and Doed.

00:13:19So the primary meaning of Shabbat is tribe,

00:13:29all addressing Yahudah,
00:13:31because Shabbat was singular in this context.
00:13:35The tertiary definitions include branch,
00:13:39writing implement rod,
00:13:41staff,
00:13:41and walking stick.
00:13:42When these are considered collectively,
00:13:46Doed among all Yehudim,
00:13:48wielded each of them on behalf of his people.
00:13:53Now, next in priority,
00:13:55we find scepter as the symbol of a leader,
00:13:58which could be a staff or a javelin.
00:14:01And once again,
00:14:03there is only one leader among Yehudim who used a staff,
00:14:07scepter,
00:14:07and javelin,
00:14:08all effectively to lead and then protect Israel.
00:14:14Therefore,
00:14:15by rendering,
00:14:16excuse me,
00:14:17Shabbat simply as scepter,
00:14:22as is the case with most Bibles,
00:14:24at the exclusion of all other insights,
00:14:29which direct our attention to Doed and only Doed,
00:14:33the translation is either ignorant or deliberately misleading.
00:14:39Either way,
00:14:40when a word is inadequately translated,
00:14:44it opens the floodgates to religious misinterpretations,
00:14:48as is the case with Christianity and this prophecy.
00:14:53These things known should,
00:14:57about Shabbat,
00:14:59and followed by the negation of the verb,
00:15:02sure.
00:15:02This opening statement suggests that neither the branch,
00:15:08the shepherd's staff,
00:15:09the scribal authority,
00:15:11the scepter,
00:15:12nor ruler,
00:15:13each serving as symbols for Doed,
00:15:16will be taken away from Yehudah.
00:15:20All of these things from the Jewish people themselves,
00:15:23from the branch to prophetic authority of the one writing the word of God,
00:15:30from the shepherd to the protector.
00:15:33It's not going to be annulled.
00:15:37It will remain part of Yehudah,
00:15:39and it will always pertain to Doed.
00:15:45The verb sure was negated with low.
00:15:50It can be translated as will not go or will not come,
00:15:55will not turn away or will not leave.
00:15:57It will not be removed,
00:16:01rejected,
00:16:02forsaken or abolished.
00:16:03It was scribed in the call imperfect,
00:16:06which depicts a literal interpretation of ongoing and continuous outcomes.
00:16:13And while there are some considerable differences in potential meanings among these choices,
00:16:20the most consistent thread reveals that this long list of important things
00:16:24will not be removed from Yehudah,
00:16:27which we now consider to be Jews.
00:16:31Jews that being true with this prophecy,
00:16:35Yehudah has obliterated the very basis of the world's most popular anti-Semitic cult,

00:16:42It crumbles when the prospects of replacement theology are removed.

00:17:30the one man who God chose to shepherd his flock.
