00:44Excuse our tardiness. We are about 20 minutes late.
00:48We had some challenges with the cables to capture our poolside camera.
00:53Trying to get a picture of the fire.
00:58We are continuing our program here on The Basics Relative to PSOC.
01:04We covered everything except we're going to conclude in the 22nd Mismore, one of the most extraordinary pieces of literature
01:15ever written.
01:16That fire out there is symbolic of the fire that Yahweh says is so transformative.
01:22That is the purpose of so many of the Mikrei.
01:24He asks us to approach the presence of this fire because it is transformative.
01:30It takes decaying organic material like our physical bodies and transforms them into light and energy,
01:40which will eventually encapsulate our souls as we jump from three dimensions to four, five, six, and seven,
01:49and ultimately enter Shamaim to be with the Iowa.
01:53For those of you who listened to our last program, you know that in the intervening hour, we had a
01:59lovely Pesach dinner.
02:01We had lamb chops.
02:03We had marvelous home-cooked matzah, olive oil, and bitter herbs.
02:12And a lovely side dish of potato sliced in an exceedingly beautiful way, one of the most beautiful presentations I've
02:20ever seen.
02:22Lovely, lovely texture of the lamb.
02:24The results of the end of the lamb, the part that we didn't eat, which was darn near nothing,
02:28but nonetheless, per the instructions, we have taken the remnant of the lamb.
02:35It is out there in the flame, being incinerated so that it does not survive until the morning.
02:41But our meal of a glass of red wine and lamb, the zoroa, a beautiful lamb chop,
02:52is cooked over an open flame, as well as the flatbread, the matzah, bread without yeast,
03:00and dipped in bitter herbs and olive oil, was all part of our meal.
03:05You can see even Rich walking out there now to tend this fire.
03:11It's a beautiful scene.
03:12We set out and enjoyed it for about 15 minutes as we were working to get the cables to respond
03:18appropriately.
03:19And it was a marvelous experience watching the fire dance and feeling the warmth of it, hearing the crackle,
03:27and the dancing light, truly a marvelous experience.
03:34And it's just something that I wanted you to be able to share with us as we celebrate this Passover.
03:45Moon hasn't quite risen over her horizon yet, but when it does, it will be beautiful and it will be
03:51full.
03:51And we just all celebrated, really, all of the symbols, all of the teachings,
04:00all of the insights that Yahweh has offered to us via Passover, opening the doorway to life with his beloved
04:08son.
04:08We toasted Yahweh and Dodd for what they had done and anticipated being able to celebrate this in their presence
04:18so very soon.
04:21So it's a beautiful scene.
04:23We are now going to cover a portion of the 22nd Mismore.
04:29We may finish it tomorrow.
04:31It is 726 here in the midst of the Caribbean Sea.
04:38The lights that you see that are so bright in that room on the other side of the fire.
04:45That was the office where I wrote most of these books here on our island.
04:50That's where Rich is silhouetting against that door.
04:55But it's so bright now because of all of the lights we use for our studio.
05:02And the pool sits between the house and that office and the ocean on the other side.
05:09It's really a beautiful setting.
05:12I think Yahweh realized that, you know, and all the things that we have, there's Asher looking at the fire,
05:19all the things that we have done together that Yahweh realizes this is a good, challenging job.
05:26And that since surrounded by Israelites and their orneriness,
05:32it became an impossible task for Moshe and Dodd, both better men than I.
05:37Yahweh made certain that we had a bit of a respite,
05:40that we could do this job surrounded by the ocean and a bit insulated from the antagonizing nature of people
05:50who oppose everything that Yahweh was trying to convey.
05:54So it is a wonderful celebration for us.
05:56We're delighted to be here, delighted to have Rich be able to produce this program on our behalf.
06:03And you can even see that in the near frame there,
06:10that is actually a fountain of laminar flow water that's going into that pool,
06:16which is essentially all marble with a little bit of glass as an accent and floating tables.
06:22It's a really pretty saying.
06:24So this is a song, Amismore, lyrics set to a melody.
06:30It's written by Dode.
06:32He is the beloved.
06:33He wrote it about himself.
06:35He addresses everything that follows in first person.
06:39This was something he himself endured.
06:43This is a marvelously befitting introduction
06:48because Dode would represent all of the things that we are celebrating on this day
06:52and everything that follows pertains to him.
06:56The Lamb of God who opened Passover's door
07:01prophetically revealed that he would say on this day as he was being tormented,
07:07literally crucified by the Romans, exactly as he said he would be,
07:11my God, my God, my God, why have you at this moment forsaken me?
07:22Mismore song, Psalm 22, 1 in part.
07:25He knew the answer, of course.
07:26No prophet ever asks a question, but he doesn't know the answer.
07:31And in this case, he was being forsaken, abandoned, relinquished
07:39for the purpose of fulfilling peace.
07:41He had agreed to do so.
07:45And it was a gruesome undertaking, and really, Yahweh hadn't completely abandoned him.
07:57The spirit of Yahweh enveloped Dode during this time.
08:01I am certain that the spirit of Yahweh also numbed the pain
08:06so that his beloved son wouldn't have to endure how gruesome this was.
08:12But it was gruesome to make the point.
08:15He goes on to say,
08:17Far remote and distant in time, away from my liberation and deliverance,
08:22are the words of my anguished groaning.
08:27And the ordeal was just beginning.
08:30It would be, you know, some 30 to 40 hours
08:35from the onset of the crucifixion by the Romans,
08:41sacrificing the Passover lamb,
08:44to the end of Passover, the beginning of matzah, which was 24 hours.
08:49And, you know, all total, perhaps 30-ish hours
08:54of the most excruciating, anguishing torment
08:59any soul has ever endured.
09:03And he volunteered to do this for us.
09:06And as you will find out, he was not alone.
09:11My God,
09:14I am appointed to call out
09:16and to continually proclaim
09:18this summons
09:20to make
09:22this invitation known
09:25on this day.
09:28But, of course, you cannot answer
09:30by night.
09:32There will be no relief
09:33for me,
09:35no expectation
09:35of rest
09:37or of silence.
09:39Psalm 22, 2.
09:43During the day,
09:44it would be horrific,
09:46but by night,
09:48of course,
09:49his soul would be
09:50in Sheol,
09:52where it would be impossible
09:54for God
09:55to be able
09:57to communicate directly
09:58with his beloved son.
10:01And at this point
10:02in the ordeal,
10:03it's a long time away
10:06from the expectation
10:07of rest.
10:10He says,
10:11you are set apart,
10:13living to establish
10:14the renown
10:15and reputation
10:16of Yisrael.
10:18And,
10:19truly,
10:20that is profound.
10:22The reason that Yahweh
10:23was not engaged
10:26in the fulfillment
10:27of Pesach and Matzah
10:28is because God
10:29is seven-dimensional.
10:31His son,
10:32Dod,
10:33had volunteered
10:33to endure the torment
10:35for the benefit
10:36of Yisrael.
10:37And this was all
10:38being orchestrated
10:40on behalf
10:41of those
10:42who engage
10:43and endure with God.
10:44Ms. Moore,
10:45Psalm 22, 3.
10:50Trying to put this
10:51into the context
10:52of time,
10:52and this was
10:53year 4,000,
10:54Yah,
10:55Dod wrote,
10:56and you,
10:57our fathers relied.
11:00They trusted.
11:02And you,
11:03continually,
11:04rescued.
11:05them.
11:07Psalm 22, 4.
11:09Well,
11:09they did at times.
11:10At times,
11:11they did not.
11:12But when they did,
11:13when they trusted
11:14and relied upon Yahweh,
11:16as we found
11:16in that Hezekiah moment,
11:20God rescued them.
11:23When they were suffering
11:25in Mitzrayim,
11:28Yahweh rescued them.
11:30That is when they cried out,
11:31to you,
11:32they cried out for help.
11:35And they were delivered.
11:37That is really the truth
11:38for what happened
11:39in Mitzrayim.
11:40Boy,
11:40isn't that a beautiful scene
11:41to my,
11:45I guess it would be
11:47to my right here
11:49and what looks like
11:51to my left.
11:52But it's a reverse image
11:54here in the monitor.
11:57It's just gorgeous,
11:58isn't it?
12:01What a marvelous set
12:02of metaphors
12:03Yahweh has
12:03for
12:04his
12:05Moed Mikre.
12:08So to you,
12:09while in Mitzrayim,
12:11of course,
12:11they cried out for help
12:12and they were delivered.
12:14In you,
12:15they trusted and relied
12:16to some extent.
12:18And of course,
12:19they were not disappointed.
12:20They were not disapproved.
12:25And then Dode recognizes
12:28what it's going to take
12:29to finish the job.
12:30He says,
12:30I am not,
12:31I am,
12:32but a crimson grub.
12:35Tola'a.
12:37No longer extant
12:38or present as a person.
12:40Rebuked and taunted.
12:42Dishonored by mankind.
12:46This was important
12:48for two reasons.
12:49That crimson grub,
12:50the Tola'a,
12:53plays an important part
12:54of the sacrifice
12:55of the Adamah Parah.
12:59It's tossed into the flame
13:01to remind us
13:02of this day.
13:04It is part
13:06of the dress rehearsal
13:07with Elia
13:08ridding the
13:09religion,
13:10Israel of its
13:11religiosity
13:12and its politics.
13:16It is symbolic
13:17of the
13:19bloody nature
13:20of Rome
13:22and the
13:23scarlet red
13:25of those barbarians
13:27and what they were doing
13:28at this point.
13:31And it's also
13:33significant
13:34that
13:34Dode is letting us know
13:36that his body
13:38is no longer
13:38extant
13:39or present
13:40as a person.
13:42It was just
13:43a piece of meat
13:44now being
13:45tormented.
13:46His soul
13:47is what mattered
13:49and his body
13:50was being sacrificed
13:51as the
13:52for the purpose
13:53of serving
13:53as the Passover lamb.
13:56And it was
13:57that body
13:58that was rebuked
13:59and taunted
14:00insulted
14:01and dishonored
14:02by the very men
14:04that God
14:05had created
14:07disrespected
14:08and demeaned
14:09and demeaned
14:09by the family
14:10and that
14:11was also
14:11true.
14:13Israel has
14:13never embraced
14:14Dode's role
14:15as the
14:16sacrificial lamb
14:18as the son
14:19of God
14:19as our savior
14:21as our returning
14:23king.
14:24They continue
14:25to disrespect
14:27the most important
14:28man in the world.
14:31You should
14:32never be
14:33afraid.
14:34This is
14:35something I want
14:36to share
14:36with you
14:37about
14:37that
14:39tola'a
14:40because God
14:41explains
14:42a really
14:43important insight
14:44that I think
14:44is relevant
14:45to Dode's
14:46mention in it
14:47pursuant
14:48to his
14:48fulfillment
14:49of Passover
14:50as he was
14:51being beaten
14:51to a pulp
14:52by the Romans.
14:54this is
14:55what is
14:56conveyed
14:57in the Torah.
14:58Actually,
14:58I think
14:59this is
14:59from
14:59Yashiah
15:01Isaiah.
15:02You should
15:03never be
15:03afraid,
15:04O worm
15:04of Jacob.
15:07People
15:08of Yisrael,
15:09I myself
15:10am here
15:11to help
15:12and to
15:13support you.
15:15Prophetically
15:16announces
15:17Yahweh.
15:19And then
15:20in conjunction
15:20with that
15:23worm,
15:25God says,
15:26your kinsman
15:26redeemer
15:28is the
15:29set-apart
15:30one.
15:33He is
15:34the set-apart
15:35one of
15:35Yisrael,
15:36of individuals
15:37who engage
15:38and endure
15:38with God.
15:40So there's
15:41a direct
15:41correlation
15:41between
15:42Jacob,
15:43Yisrael,
15:45this
15:46tola'a,
15:47this worm,
15:49Jacob,
15:51and the
15:52kinsman
15:52redeemer,
15:53Doad,
15:55of Yisrael.
15:58So Doad
15:58continues to
15:59write,
16:00all of those
16:01who see me,
16:02they deride
16:03and they mock
16:03me,
16:04speaking
16:05unintelligently
16:06about me
16:06and disparaging
16:07me.
16:08They shoot
16:08off their
16:09mouths
16:09while they
16:10shake
16:10their head.
16:13This has
16:13been true
16:14now for
16:14almost 2,000
16:15years.
16:17the
16:17rabbis
16:18completely
16:20ignored
16:21the fact
16:21that
16:23it was
16:23Doad
16:24that was
16:24fulfilling
16:24his promise
16:25to serve
16:26as the
16:26Passover
16:26lamb.
16:28It was
16:29rabbis
16:29that created
16:29Christianity
16:30that exchanged
16:32all that
16:33Doad
16:33represents
16:34and has
16:34done
16:34for the
16:35myth
16:35of Jesus.
16:37And so
16:38to even
16:38this day
16:39they shoot
16:39off their
16:40mouths.
16:40They talk
16:40about a
16:41Christ,
16:42they talk
16:42about a
16:44unknown
16:45Messiah
16:45and here
16:46was Doad
16:47enduring the
16:48ultimate
16:49sacrifice
16:49for their
16:51behalf
16:51and yet
16:52they disparage
16:53him.
16:55They talk
16:56unintelligently
16:57about him.
16:58It's why
16:58God hates
16:59religion to
16:59such a
17:00degree.
17:02He wrote
17:03you have
17:04chosen
17:05to be
17:06rolled away.
17:07This is
17:08what those
17:08who were
17:09mocking him
17:09had to
17:10say.
17:11You have
17:11chosen to
17:11be rolled
17:12away,
17:12to be
17:12removed,
17:13to be
17:14sent
17:14away
17:14to
17:14Yahweh.
17:16So let's
17:16see if
17:17he wants
17:17to rescue
17:18him.
17:19I've
17:19dealt
17:19with this
17:20previously
17:21and said
17:21that the
17:23only way
17:23that those
17:25mocking Doad
17:27while he
17:27is being
17:28crucified by
17:28the Romans
17:30would say
17:31such a
17:31thing that
17:32you've
17:33chosen to
17:34be and
17:35spoken about
17:35your will
17:36to be
17:36removed
17:37by Yahweh
17:38is for
17:40Yahweh to
17:40be openly
17:41discussed.
17:43Obviously
17:44Doad
17:44dead.
17:45Obviously
17:45his brothers
17:46dead.
17:46Obviously
17:47his mother
17:47and father
17:48dead.
17:49It was
17:50known to
17:50all who
17:51would
17:51listen
17:52that Yahweh
17:53was the
17:54God of
17:54the Messiah
17:56who was
17:57serving as
17:57the Passover
17:58lamb.
17:59And this
18:00Passover
18:00in the
18:01Yobo year
18:02of 4000
18:03Yahweh.
18:04So they
18:04continued to
18:05flap their
18:06lips and
18:06said let
18:07him choose
18:07to deliver
18:08and save
18:09him.
18:09Surely
18:10he desires
18:11to be
18:11with him
18:12and surely
18:13he would
18:14and he
18:15does.
18:16It's
18:17true.
18:20And so
18:21in the
18:22midst of
18:22being rejected
18:23by his
18:23people
18:24Doad takes
18:25comfort in
18:26the fact that
18:26he was
18:27supported by
18:27his mother
18:29and having
18:30a supportive
18:31mother was
18:33immensely
18:34comforting to
18:35him.
18:36So in the
18:37midst of all
18:37of this
18:37he tells
18:38Yahweh
18:38that indeed
18:39you
18:41had me
18:41to gush
18:42forth and
18:42thrash about
18:43in normal
18:44childbirth
18:47from the
18:47very womb
18:51causing me
18:51to rely
18:52upon my
18:53mother's
18:53breasts.
18:58Doad would
18:58know the
18:59love of a
18:59mother and
19:00a father
19:00in this
19:01life.
19:02The mother
19:03that was
19:03such a
19:04whore and
19:04abandoned him
19:05and the
19:05previous one
19:06would be
19:06replaced by
19:08Ruth.
19:09The
19:10Amma
19:11who promised
19:13Boaz that
19:14she would
19:14deliver to
19:15him the
19:15kinsman
19:16redeemer and
19:16she did.
19:17But it
19:18wasn't just
19:20giving birth
19:22to Doad.
19:24It was
19:25supporting him,
19:26loving him,
19:28encouraging him,
19:32serving as
19:33a mother
19:33and father
19:34to the
19:35beloved son
19:35of God.
19:37at this
19:37time in
19:38his life
19:38and Doad
19:39is celebrating
19:39that.
19:40He is
19:41immensely
19:41grateful to
19:42Yahweh
19:43for allowing
19:44him to
19:45enjoy the
19:46love of
19:47a mother.
19:51He says,
19:52before you,
19:53Yahweh,
19:54I was
19:55cast out
19:56of the
19:58womb,
19:58of the
19:58place of
19:59origin,
19:59of great
20:02compassion and
20:03love,
20:03rakam,
20:07from the
20:07womb of
20:09my
20:10am,
20:11my mother.
20:13You are
20:14my God.
20:16You see,
20:18when Ruth
20:19and Boaz,
20:20who were the
20:20mother of
20:21Doad,
20:23and father
20:23of Doad,
20:25in this life
20:26to fulfill
20:27Pesach,
20:27Matzah,
20:28and Boakodim,
20:28supporting him
20:29every step
20:30of the way.
20:32Yahweh was
20:33his God,
20:35the soul
20:36of Doad,
20:38already for
20:39four thousand
20:40years.
20:43Doad was
20:44Adam,
20:44Adam was
20:45Doad.
20:47We had
20:48met with
20:49Doad again
20:50during his
20:51previous life
20:52as king,
20:52helping him
20:54restore his
20:55relationship with
20:56Yahweh at his
20:57darkest moment.
20:59And now,
21:00it is from
21:01the womb of
21:02his mother
21:02that he is
21:04acknowledging
21:05that you
21:06are my
21:07God.
21:07In other
21:07words,
21:08God
21:09placed Doad's
21:11soul
21:13in the
21:14infant that
21:15would be
21:15born as
21:17Emmanuel
21:19to Ruth
21:20and Boaz.
21:25It's
21:26actually
21:26very
21:27significant
21:29that with
21:30Doad
21:30making so
21:31many bad
21:32decisions,
21:32both about
21:33women and
21:34men,
21:35in his
21:36prior life
21:36as king
21:37because he
21:38had a
21:40louse as
21:41a father
21:41and a
21:42non-existent
21:44mother.
21:45for him
21:46to have
21:49seen this
21:50through,
21:50to have
21:50served as
21:52the Passover
21:52lamb,
21:53to take our
21:53guilt into
21:54Sheol,
21:54and to
21:55know that
21:56he was
21:56loved and
21:57supported
21:57every step
21:58of the
21:58way,
21:59by a
22:00mother and
22:00father that
22:02loved him
22:02more than
22:03life.
22:05He knew
22:06it.
22:06It meant a
22:07lot to
22:07him.
22:09it was
22:10important for
22:11Yahweh to
22:11protect that
22:12kind of
22:12support and
22:12love.
22:14So Doad
22:15wrote,
22:17so don't
22:19distance
22:20yourself from
22:20me.
22:21Don't avoid
22:22me by
22:23allowing your
22:24relationship with
22:25me to be
22:26severed for
22:27any prolonged
22:27period because
22:29of the
22:30oppressive
22:31confinement
22:32imminent and
22:33the anguish.
22:34I know it's
22:35imminent because
22:37nothing else
22:38will help
22:39providing this
22:40assistance.
22:42Doad
22:43recognize that
22:43he would be
22:44separated from
22:45Yahweh for
22:45a while.
22:46We have
22:47Leah now out
22:48enjoying the
22:50fire.
22:51It's a
