00:00Previously on Bachelor Mansion Takeover.
00:03For almost 20 years, this mansion
00:05has been the stage for roses and rejections.
00:08But now this legendary house is about to get
00:11a transformation of its own.
00:13We've brought together 12 Bachelor Nation alumni
00:15to give this place the makeover it deserves.
00:18And the clock is ticking, because this renovation
00:21has to be finished before a new season of The Bachelorette
00:25begins.
00:25Week after week, you're going to face new challenges.
00:27And in the end, one of you will walk away with $100,000.
00:34The first person to raise the golden hammer wins the challenge.
00:37That locks in immunity and is guaranteed safety
00:39for the first renovation challenge.
00:41Can you help me?
00:42Are you asking for?
00:44Yeah.
00:45Because if I need help later on.
00:47Yeah, I got you.
00:49Golden hammer!
00:52Yeah!
00:54Now you take me to the end, I take you to the end.
00:57That room you slept in last night, that's the room that you're
01:00going to be renovating this week.
01:02This challenge is all about the bunk rooms.
01:05It's bachelors versus bachelorettes.
01:08It needs to be a sea blue, not a sky blue.
01:10Like, I don't think we should keep designing it.
01:12You can't walk off.
01:14I don't respect that.
01:15And I don't want to work with a teammate who's going to do that.
01:18Who's that?
01:19Oh!
01:19We have a fate card.
01:22Each team will vote off one member of their own team.
01:25Sandra.
01:26Damn.
01:27Jeremy, your time has come to an end.
01:30Whose idea was it for the Santorini room?
01:32Yeah, that was my idea.
01:33I don't love, like, a themed room.
01:36I absolutely loved the vanity.
01:38It was very well made.
01:39That was how Chris built that.
01:40Yeah.
01:41Ladies, you guys did an incredible job.
01:43You guys made bunk beds sexy.
01:45The winner is the ladies.
01:48Gentlemen, it's time to face the vote.
01:52Back at the voting booth.
01:54If Dean didn't have immunity, I'd probably vote for him.
01:58We're going to go collect the votes, and then we'll be right back.
02:22Gentlemen, before we reveal the results, you should all be really proud of all the hard work you put in.
02:29And with that, the person leaving the mansion tonight is...
02:39Chris.
02:41Chris, I really am sorry.
02:43Take a moment and say your goodbyes.
02:45Thank you, guys.
02:46Brother.
02:47You're doing some good work out there.
02:49Thank you, brother.
02:50Thank you, judges.
02:51Oh.
02:53My journey got cut short.
02:54Disappointed, to say the least.
02:57I believe they made a mistake, but sometimes the most experienced can be perceived as a threat.
03:03And I believe that's what happened here.
03:05Who knows how the game is going to go?
03:07They're going to have to watch their back.
03:09It's not over.
03:10Not for me.
03:12You guys did not.
03:13You sent Chris home.
03:15You guys did not sent Chris home.
03:16All right.
03:18You guys got praised on the craftsmanship, and you sent him home.
03:21No, you guys would have had this reaction for anyone that got sent home.
03:23No.
03:24Someone had to get sent home.
03:25No.
03:26Someone would have had to get sent home regardless.
03:28Chris was eliminated.
03:29I'm not feeling happy about it.
03:30You know, we have to think about who has skills that we really need.
03:34And I think that Chris had skills that we really need.
03:36And then there were seven.
03:38Nine.
03:39It's nine.
03:39Oh, gross.
03:41I'm like...
03:41The worst part about that, I was like, yeah, seven.
03:43Good call.
03:44I also couldn't open the box.
03:46Oh, my God.
03:46Oh, my God.
03:48Oh, my God.
03:55Here they are.
03:56Good morning.
03:57Morning, Courtney.
03:57How you doing?
03:58Super duper.
03:59All right.
03:59Well, good morning, everybody.
04:00How are you all feeling?
04:01Great.
04:01Great.
04:02Good.
04:02We get some rest?
04:03So, for this challenge, you're going to be renovating one of the most legendary spaces
04:08in Bachelor history.
04:10But you're standing in right now.
04:12That's right.
04:12You're renovating the Rose Room.
04:14Woo!
04:16Nice!
04:18So good.
04:19The Rose Room is so public-facing with so many years of different design aesthetics.
04:25It deserves the best facelift it can get.
04:29We have so many iconic moments that live rent-free in our heads.
04:33Oh, yeah.
04:36Um...
04:37This is a space that is guaranteed to be shown on camera during rose ceremonies, time after
04:43time again.
04:44Jade, will you accept this rose?
04:46There's a lot of pressure on this specific challenge, just knowing that the world will
04:50really be watching.
04:51Now, in a moment, each of you is going to draw one of nine scrolls from this champagne
04:56bucket.
04:57The scroll you pull, that locks in your zone.
04:59And the other contestants with the same scroll, those will be your teammates.
05:04Oh!
05:06Yeah.
05:06So, the zones are the living space, the candle room, and lastly, the bar and wine cellar.
05:15So, let's get started.
05:18Alicia, come on up.
05:21I think everybody is a little nervous because we obviously don't know who's going to be
05:25working together.
05:26But I do think that Joan and Alicia probably have the best eye when it comes to design and
05:32interior work.
05:33So, I wouldn't mind getting on a team with them.
05:36All right.
05:36Alicia, we'll start with you.
05:40The living space.
05:42The candle room.
05:43Ooh, good one.
05:46The bar?
05:47Yes!
05:48Yes!
05:48Guess what?
05:49I have the bar.
05:50The gods have given me what I wanted.
05:53I've opened up six different restaurants, so I feel like this is really up my wheelhouse.
05:57The living space.
05:58Ooh!
05:59Hey!
06:00I'm beating around the bush.
06:01You can see it on my face.
06:03I can't hide anything.
06:04I know what it's like working with Alicia and it can be really difficult to get your point
06:09across.
06:10The candle room.
06:11I've got the bar.
06:13I've got the candle room.
06:14I'm teaming.
06:16Living space.
06:18All right.
06:18There we go.
06:19That's not bad.
06:20It's Paradise Season 7 crew.
06:22Hi!
06:22I'm too.
06:23You look good, bro!
06:25It's Noah.
06:26Oh, yeah.
06:27It's Noah.
06:28Everybody should get a fair shot unless you need them.
06:30I'm gonna do the same.
06:31Wow.
06:32All right, so now you all know who's on your teams.
06:33Why don't you all pair up?
06:36To win this challenge and remain safe, each team has two days to finish this challenge.
06:45Also, somewhere within your design, each team has to incorporate the essence of a rose.
06:51Hmm.
06:51And each team will have 45 minutes to lock in your design plans from an array of preselected
06:56materials.
06:57So choose wisely.
06:59Now, at the end of the challenge, the judges are gonna decide which team outperformed the
07:04rest, and that will be the team that's safe from elimination.
07:07Now, for the rest of you, this is important.
07:11It's the winning team that will decide which of you stays and which of you goes.
07:17What?
07:18Oh.
07:19So you really, really want to win.
07:25Everybody here has their eyes set on $100,000.
07:30And remember, thinking big, okay?
07:34That's what's gonna separate you all from the rest.
07:37All right, guys.
07:37What are you sticking around for?
07:38We got two days.
07:39Chop, chop.
07:40We got a challenge to get to.
07:41Let's go.
07:42Yep.
07:44Okay, so what we need to decide in this meeting right now is the countertops, backsplash,
07:50wall treatment for the wine cellar, and the shelving design.
07:54Okay.
07:54So I think these are definitely, like, the biggest focal points that we have to make
07:58the biggest splash in this challenge.
08:01After losing last week, I'm gonna kinda re-strategize a little bit.
08:06I'm not gonna argue with anyone or go back and forth with anyone too, too much.
08:10But let's figure out the countertops.
08:12Yeah.
08:12But I'm definitely gonna be a little more assertive this week.
08:15I'm leaning towards, like, darker and moodier because this is the rose room and people crying
08:22here and their whole lives could potentially change in here.
08:25I think we should lean into that with dark and moody.
08:28I'm team moody.
08:29Okay, let's go dark.
08:30For this sort of vibe.
08:31I mean, our breadwinner is gonna be our back wall with the shelves.
08:35I don't like this existing structure.
08:37Yeah, I don't know.
08:37We can clean this up, though.
08:38Building a structure's gonna take time.
08:40I don't wanna waste so much time.
08:41Cause we can make these shelves work.
08:43I think we should go arches.
08:46I think arches in here, definitely.
08:47Three arches.
08:48One.
08:49Boom.
08:50Boom.
08:51And then we can have this shelf.
08:52It complements the candle room.
08:54Let's start out with just kind of our general idea about this wall.
08:57And I have a big one because I've been in here before.
09:00Should probably describe it to you, right?
09:01Yes, please.
09:02I'm intrigued.
09:03It's a different color every season, as you know.
09:04This whole wall is full of candles.
09:06It's where you have, like, intimate conversations.
09:08So, you know, you and a bachelor or you and a bachelor.
09:10So not a hangout.
09:11Not a hangout.
09:12More of an intimate story.
09:13It was really kind of intimate seating.
09:15So making it more multifunctional would be great for us.
09:17So it can be the candle room, but maybe also a little, like, more intimate gathering place for more than
09:22just two people.
09:23I was thinking that we certainly wanna, like, honor our arches in here.
09:27So I was thinking about doing one large one in the middle and have a built-in sofa.
09:31Okay.
09:31And then on either end, smaller arches.
09:33I also think that the shelves should match these beams right here.
09:36So you're thinking the insert that we build for the candles and stuff, whatever color we were to, like, stain
09:42that would match the beams as well, right?
09:44I think so.
09:44Okay.
09:45And then should we do, like, something that stands out with the tile?
09:49I'd love that tile.
09:50I mean, it's gorgeous.
09:50I mean, like, maybe, and then you can do your art.
09:53I kinda like it.
09:54I'm with you.
09:55I agree.
09:56So our design plan is to have three arches.
09:59The center arch will contain our sofa, which will be the setting for those intimate conversations.
10:05We got a beautiful tile going on the wall with an awesome portrait.
10:09And then on the sides, we'll have some shelves with candles all over the shelving and stuff like that.
10:14Sam, you're doing great.
10:16It's so fun to work with the nail.
10:17I feel like we need to prioritize the fireplace because it's gonna be the focal point.
10:21And then we can kind of work the colors off of that.
10:23We have two options for the wall colors.
10:26Do you guys have?
10:27The darker one.
10:28I agree.
10:29I prefer the darker one.
10:30I need to waste time if we all agree.
10:32Okay.
10:32We have 45 minutes to complete all of our selections.
10:35Uh, sofas.
10:36Oh.
10:37And for our specific zone, most of it is furnishing the place and furniture planning, space layout.
10:44So I'm excited to have those big choices, but with a lot of responsibility comes a lot of risk.
10:50My initial vision was to have this all tiled like a high shine, like dark color just for the fireplace.
10:56But it doesn't seem like that's an option.
10:57So I don't want to do that.
10:59I do kind of like the idea of just having like a mural situation over here.
11:05This whole wall.
11:06Alicia, it seemed like you gravitated more towards those tiles though.
11:09I love those tiles.
11:10And I think as shingles, like that pays ode to the roof of the hacienda style.
11:14With this all over and a matching ceiling, it's going to be...
11:18But look at how similar this is.
11:20I think having cohesion and everything is going to be much more to our advantage.
11:27This is like...
11:30True.
11:30It looks great.
11:32What surface or texture are you guys thinking for the arches though?
11:37Hear me out.
11:38Something like this as a Roman clay.
11:41The whole thing, the walls and the arches where it kind of just blends all together.
11:46Do you want to do the Roman clay on the face of the shelves and the wall?
11:51Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
11:53Um, I know that's risky.
11:55That is risky.
11:56They keep saying bold and what Jesse keeps saying bold.
11:59I think that's a bold move there.
12:01Honestly, I'm a little worried about all of the Roman clay.
12:05But I need to build more social game with both Brendan and Noah.
12:09So I think my way of going about it is listening.
12:13Let's move to the wine room.
12:15All of the weird shingles in the wine room have to be removed.
12:18Yeah, yeah.
12:18The shelving and the wine rack.
12:21Black steel with that.
12:22What do you think?
12:23I think so.
12:24Yeah.
12:24I think this wide open is huge.
12:26And then something cool and aesthetic here like, you know, quartz or whatever countertop it is.
12:32Can we put a countertop on glass?
12:33Yeah, we can frame it up so it'll support the weight.
12:36Okay.
12:36We could run the same countertop.
12:37Yeah, yeah.
12:38That's going to look sick.
12:40Let's do lighting really quickly.
12:41Candles will be easy because we can do a variety of candles.
12:43I kind of like this.
12:44I kind of think this is it.
12:45I think it represents this room pretty well.
12:46I like that.
12:46I like it.
12:48Oh, Jesus, guys.
12:49Okay.
12:49We need a rug.
12:50I kind of like these two guys.
12:52I do too.
12:52I was thinking...
12:53Oh, we need lamps for that.
12:53Lamps, lamps, lamps, lamps, lamps, lamps, lamps.
12:55Oh, this is a good pillow.
12:56Put this in our pillows section.
12:57Okay.
12:57Have we thought about any other...
12:58We need pillows, guys.
12:59Pillows, pillows, pillows, pillows.
13:00We need the candles.
13:01Candles, candles, candles, candles.
13:03We need a big round table.
13:05Guys, big round table is more important than anything.
13:06She just sees a blank wall and she gets the paintbrush out and she just is off to the races.
13:12I kind of want to use the mural.
13:13Let's make it work.
13:14I think my, like, just personal style leans so much lighter.
13:19I know, but this room is like, I want it to be sexy, dark, moody.
13:22Yeah.
13:23I think we do tile.
13:24But it's going to be so boring.
13:26Like, I just don't want it to be so boring.
13:28I vote tile.
13:30Oh, don't make me be the tiebreaker.
13:32You need to be the tiebreaker.
13:33You love being the tiebreaker.
13:35I just feel like it's going to be flat.
13:37Mmm.
13:37If this flops, then you can send me home.
13:39No, it's not about sending you home.
13:40It's about me having immunity.
13:41That's why I'm really advocating for this.
13:43I want to be safe and I want to pick who's going home.
13:45Because I think we're going to pull it off.
13:46I think we're going to pull it off.
13:46And I think this is a huge risk and I think that's going to pay off.
13:48I think that's a huge risk too.
13:50A mural is so 2008.
13:52I don't think so.
13:53Hmm.
13:54Dean, you have to make the decision.
13:55I will.
13:56I will make the decision.
13:58Right now.
13:59We have seconds.
14:00That's a lot of pressure.
14:05Dean, you have to make the decision.
14:06I will.
14:07I will make the decision.
14:09Right now.
14:10We have seconds.
14:11It's a lot of pressure.
14:12On one hand, I got some tile.
14:14On the other hand, I got some mural.
14:16No idea where to go.
14:18I'm stuck in the middle, man.
14:20I am going to make my decision and my decision is mural.
14:26Okay.
14:28We better not lose because of that decision.
14:31I'll take the heat if we lose.
14:33I am so into the world of fashion and design and specifically like Southern California design.
14:39And as far as aesthetic and design style, like Jill's sucks.
14:43It really does.
14:44I think you're making the wrong decision with the mural.
14:46She's going to kill me.
14:48That's okay.
14:49That's my final word.
14:51That's my final word.
14:51You guys do whatever you want to do.
15:00Let's go.
15:03Wow, that was so easy.
15:04How'd you do that so fast?
15:05It's kind of wicked strong.
15:10Is that what you were looking for?
15:16It's going to add so much extra.
15:18It's going to be beautiful.
15:20Think about side tables that you like and what is like functional and cool about them.
15:25We've all said like previously, we don't even remember seeing the pedestal.
15:28So it's obviously not intentionally wanting to be like.
15:31I think of like how iconic it was like when Hannah Brown moved the pedestal.
15:36Why are you here?
15:37I need to talk to you real quick.
15:38No.
15:40Please leave.
15:42This isn't over for me yet.
15:43Oh my God.
15:44Well, all right.
15:45We need to figure out how we can really accentuate the rose portion of this challenge.
15:50So we're going to be redesigning the rose podium.
15:53We could do like a fluted situation.
15:56I like sculptural pieces.
15:58That's kind of where the bachelor or bachelorette would be reaching down for the roses.
16:01There's only one rose left this evening.
16:03Boom.
16:03Tight shot on the rose.
16:04So redesigning the podium, I can only imagine it's going to be extra brownie points for us.
16:10Ideal, we can do a wrought iron base of some sort really thin and then wood on the top.
16:16I think that would look really nice.
16:19Okay.
16:19Do I have an idea for it?
16:20Yeah, sure.
16:21But like I'm going to let her take the lead on the podium and we'll see what happens.
16:26Okay.
16:27Love that.
16:28Did you guys want to just do the rose flower itself for the emblem or do you want to do
16:33it with a stem?
16:34If we can go with a stem to make it actually a distinct rose and then make it blend in
16:39with the same color or Roman clay.
16:41We need to incorporate the rose some way, somehow in our design.
16:44So we're going to try to get a 3D printing of the rose and then Roman clay over it just
16:48so it's very subtle.
16:50If you are looking, you'll see it, but it's not so much in your face.
16:52Good? We're happy with this?
16:53Yeah, I'm really happy about this.
16:55Okay.
16:55Sam, what are you thinking?
16:56It looks too striped to me.
16:58I've been sanding that for 20 minutes and you see how far I've got.
17:01I think that whenever we put the stain on, I just don't think it's going to look good.
17:07It's looking peachy to me.
17:08It's looking orangey.
17:09I'm afraid it's not going to stay in the right color anyway.
17:10We have a lot of different wood colors going on there.
17:12The floor is different.
17:13The door to the kitchen is different.
17:15I think we need to, you know, figure out how to tie them together.
17:18Did you guys consider going darker?
17:22Darker with what?
17:23The beams?
17:24I don't want to go any darker with them.
17:27We've got a picture.
17:28The walls are going to be lighter.
17:29We've got black fixtures.
17:30I do love a black.
17:31It will look lighter.
17:33We're not fighting with the color of that.
17:34Because right now we're fighting with this.
17:36It's good.
17:36We're down here.
17:37Classic black.
17:38All right.
17:38Classic black it is.
17:39And they have black fixtures.
17:40And they said to go bold on this.
17:44Oh, yeah.
17:44What do you guys think?
17:45Yeah, it looks awesome.
17:46A little Roman clay in that baby and we'll be all set.
17:48You love this Roman clay.
17:50Well, because we're going to use it, so.
17:53You're not sure yet?
17:56Well, I've never worked with Roman clay myself,
17:58but I'm going to trust Brendan because that's kind of his wheelhouse.
18:02Good job, guys.
18:03Proud of you.
18:04I've honestly gotten to know both Brendan and Noah in the dating scene on Paradise,
18:09but there are still some social games to be played here and some seating to be done.
18:15Do you want to form our alliance that we started in the beginning?
18:18I've always tried to save you.
18:19If anyone was like, hey, I want to vote for Brendan, I'd be like, I don't think that's the right
18:22choice.
18:22Someone said that before?
18:25They have.
18:26One of the girls?
18:27Mm-hmm.
18:29That's rude.
18:30Well, I think they were just trying to see, like, who would go home most likely.
18:33They said that you or Noah would go home.
18:34I think what changes now is that the winning team is going to send someone home.
18:40Do we send home the strongest person?
18:43For me, I would rather bring someone along with me that could help me.
18:48You would be an asset to my game down the road.
18:51Just something to be mindful of for when we win and we have to decide who goes home.
18:58You guys have better backstab me after this.
19:00We have rapport, so...
19:02I appreciate that. No, I'm not going to say anything to anyone.
19:18Alicia, does this make you more or less mad that we're not doing the tie-up?
19:22More, because it's dark.
19:25I think Jill's going to be really worried if this doesn't pay off with the judges.
19:28I think she'll probably assume that she has a target on our back
19:32or that I would be willing to send her home.
19:33And, yeah, I probably would, I guess, actually, if it came down to it.
19:37There's no use in talking about it. It's done.
19:41Bye-bye, Tile.
19:53Why am I always so tired in the afternoon?
19:57Oh, my God.
20:00Hey, get out of here. You're not supposed to see any of this.
20:02Interesting.
20:03You see what I'm supposed to do?
20:04Is this your roaming clay?
20:05You're not supposed to see me smear mud on the walls.
20:07I like this.
20:08This is better than your blue ceiling idea.
20:11Oh!
20:11Well, this is all much better than your painting.
20:13I've put a lot of my effort and energy into being professional and doing well and having my role,
20:17but I have not put equal amount of energy and thought into the competition aspect of this.
20:23So I don't want to, like, make it awkward or anything, but if you guys win, who are you going
20:26to vote out?
20:27Someone probably in the candlelight room.
20:28That's the only option is somebody from the candle room.
20:31Yes.
20:31Yeah.
20:32But can we all just make an agreement right now?
20:33Candle room goes first.
20:35Okay.
20:38Do I have your love here?
20:40Yeah.
20:41Okay.
20:42If you backstab us, of course, I always love you.
20:45Okay.
20:45Okay.
20:58Fate card.
21:03Hey, guys.
21:04Can I get everyone's attention for a second?
21:06Oh, we hate that.
21:07We got a little fate card situation.
21:10What do you guys think it is?
21:12Golden hammer or elimination.
21:14Cut once and measure twice to prove you're a survivor.
21:19Whichever player is the most precise will win the golden screwdriver.
21:27One by one, make your way to the front of the mansion where more instructions will follow.
21:32Oh, my God.
21:32Go.
21:33Go.
21:34So the golden screwdriver is obviously a different tool than the golden hammer,
21:38but I'm curious what this golden screwdriver will grant me when I win.
21:42Take one piece of wood and attempt to cut it at exactly 17 and a half inches in length.
21:47When you are done, write your name on your piece of wood and place it in the crate.
21:50The closest without going over will win the golden screwdriver.
21:53No tape measures, no rulers, just your eyes, a pencil, and a chop saw.
21:59Wow.
22:00I know that I'm 74 inches tall, and I mark the top of my head.
22:04Boom, 74 inches.
22:06Okay.
22:07And my body is nine palm lengths high.
22:12Let's divide 72 by nine.
22:14All of a sudden we get eight.
22:15So that way I know one hand length is eight inches.
22:18So I go two palm lengths, mark that for 16 inches,
22:21and then I really just have to guess that last inch and a half,
22:24which is a lot easier to guess than 17 and a half.
22:26So I think I got a pretty fair chance of winning that.
22:30I think that looks good.
22:34What's done is done.
22:4418 would be here.
22:46Okay.
22:46I'm ready.
22:49I'm not sure what the golden screwdriver entails.
22:52If that person gets to send someone home, it's going to be huge,
22:55and I don't think the stakes could be higher.
23:04I desperately want the golden screwdriver this week.
23:07I've heard my name thrown around a little bit,
23:10that maybe I'm one of the weaker guys here.
23:14Who knows?
23:15So I would love to just protect myself from going home this week.
23:19Jesus, take the saw.
23:32I think that the judges will appreciate like something homemade.
23:35We're in the middle of doing a piece of artwork.
23:37It was Courtney's idea.
23:38And it's a row.
23:39So it's really our nod to part of our challenge.
23:42Courtney is drawing it out,
23:44and we're starting to take these pieces of fabric
23:47and gluing them on it to give this 3D rose effect.
23:50We're trying to build some texture, dimension.
23:54It is a 3-person job because it's a lot to get done.
23:57It has to be done by the end of today.
23:58Courtney, this is going to be sick.
24:00That looks beautiful.
24:02Wait, this looks better than I thought.
24:04Look at the gold flakes in it.
24:05This is beautiful.
24:07And it showed up a lot more than the sample.
24:09Yeah, for sure.
24:13Like the gold flakes.
24:14Yeah.
24:17Guys, look at the rose.
24:20Oh, sweet.
24:20I think we should measure out where we want it.
24:22Yeah, that looks awesome, yeah.
24:23Are we doing straight up and down,
24:24or do we want to do it at an angle?
24:26Ooh.
24:27I think at an angle.
24:28I think that's perfect right there.
24:29I think it's perfect.
24:29I feel good about that.
24:30Let's start on the wine wall.
24:31Yeah, let's do it.
24:33All right, Mitch.
24:34I got something for you.
24:35Uh-oh.
24:36We are going to incorporate the essence of a rose
24:39into our pedestal.
24:40We'll have an etched rose that Mitch will help us execute.
24:44Alicia, what do we think about four similar ones just like this?
24:48Surrounding it.
24:49And we're going to go around it.
24:49Love that idea, Mitch.
24:50I think exactly what you're doing,
24:52and that's going to look super romantic,
24:53like a vine crawling up.
24:55I think it will be beautiful.
24:57I just don't know if it will be novel enough
24:59to stick out to the judges.
25:15It's dark and moody, sexy as Jill put it.
25:19Alicia, do you think we made the right choice?
25:20I stand by it.
25:22Without it out, the mural's 110% the wrong decision.
25:25A mural is just so generic.
25:35Oh, yeah.
25:43Obviously, Alicia didn't get her way,
25:45and there's still a little bit of resentment brewing
25:48on both sides.
25:50I feel like I'm safe here
25:51because although I was a tie-breaking vote,
25:53I wasn't the person to present the idea to the group.
25:56So if the mural is bad and we lose, that's on Jill.
26:00If the mural is great and we win, that's on all of us.
26:03So hopefully I'm absolved a little bit.
26:08You guys are on the same team?
26:11Yeah, yeah.
26:11Okay.
26:12And I want to chill.
26:13I know.
26:16I feel like Jill and Alicia now
26:17are just probably never even going to want
26:18to talk to each other again.
26:34Yeah!
26:39Okay, let's see!
26:42Hang that off.
26:43Yeah.
26:44So we still have to finish staging all the furniture.
26:47We're not quite sure what it looks like
26:49until it's in the space.
26:51Okay.
26:52So now we need to rock with accessories.
26:54Yeah, let's do these because they have a straight back.
26:56I'm honestly feeling very confident about our space.
26:59I know that the mural, it's going to be hit or miss.
27:02Whoever's judging is either going to love it
27:04or they're going to hate it.
27:05Can you see the rose on the top?
27:06Oh, there's the rose.
27:07Wow.
27:08Yay!
27:09Good job, Mitch.
27:11I love it.
27:12So glad they're finally here.
27:13I know.
27:14I can't wait to see them.
27:14I know.
27:15Sam!
27:16This frame looks amazing.
27:17Can I get a rocks glass, please?
27:22The bar is coming together absolutely amazing.
27:25I think the wine cellar is one of my favorite pieces
27:28of the house, but number one priority
27:30is finishing up the fine details.
27:32I think we should put these over here and bring in the second couch.
27:36I personally do not like the two couches together in the same space.
27:40But you do?
27:41Well, if you do, then do it.
27:42I'm dying.
27:44I'm praying and hoping I need this golden screwdriver
27:48just because I don't have, like, full creative control.
27:52Cut me loose.
27:53Let me run.
27:53This back is crazy.
27:55Ah!
27:56A little higher.
27:58Joan, you got dirt on the rug.
28:00Oh, no!
28:01Oh, my God.
28:02Maybe put a plant behind it so it kind of falls over.
28:04We have 15 minutes.
28:05Holy crap.
28:05We need to know exactly where this furniture is going to go.
28:08Stop moving.
28:09This is the last move.
28:10This is the last move.
28:11Will you help me try to get this behind the couches
28:13just to make a final decision on that?
28:15I'm worried we're going to run out of time.
28:16Ten minutes!
28:18Uh, Joan, Courtney, I need you all to take a look at this real quick.
28:21Okay.
28:22Yep.
28:24Uh, other way around.
28:25Yep.
28:25Yeah.
28:26Love it!
28:27No, I hate this.
28:28This is terrible.
28:28This is terrible.
28:29I think we, no, you put that on.
28:31Oh, yeah, that's a good place.
28:34Hello, we need these on our shelves.
28:35Ten seconds, guys.
28:36Ten seconds.
28:37Okay.
28:38It's all right.
28:39I'll get them to figure.
28:40I'll get them figured out.
28:41Time's up!
28:42We need ten more seconds.
28:43Time is up!
28:59Hey, guys.
29:00Hi.
29:00Oh.
29:01My.
29:03Gosh.
29:05This is unbelievable.
29:09You had two days.
29:11It felt quicker than that, too.
29:13It really did.
29:13Before we see all your work, let's meet tonight's judging panel.
29:19Holy smokes.
29:21Wow.
29:23Am I in the right room?
29:24This is incredible.
29:26And joining them tonight...
29:27Ooh, I like shiny things.
29:29...is somebody that knows a thing or two about transformation.
29:34Ooh!
29:34Ooh!
29:35She's renovated some of the most recognizable homes...
29:39Give me what I want.
29:41...on all of television.
29:43Hi, everyone.
29:45Ooh!
29:48Please welcome top HGTV designer...
29:55...Kristina Hawk.
29:57Ooh!
29:57Ooh!
30:03Thank you, Jessie.
30:04Thank you, Kristina.
30:04Hi, everyone.
30:05Hi.
30:06Our guest judge is Kristina Hawk.
30:09Like, HGTV royalty.
30:11Somebody that really understands the pressure that we were under.
30:14You know, she's a great designer.
30:16Obviously, designing a beautiful space is really hard, but so is finding love.
30:22Mm-hmm.
30:23I'm looking for a space that tells a story.
30:27I really want to see an elevated design, but something that comes from your heart.
30:30So, you guys will be judged on design, execution, and creativity.
30:36And I'm so excited to see how you guys incorporated a rose in your final designs.
30:41Now, together, your judges are going to decide which team delivered and which of you are at risk of going
30:47home.
30:48So, let's get into it.
30:50Contestants, why don't you head on into the Mixer Room.
30:52You can take a break.
30:53We are going to walk around and take a closer look at all of your great work.
30:59All right, judges.
31:00Let's begin with the living space.
31:02This is incredible.
31:09This was Dean, Alicia, and this was Jill.
31:12I'm obsessed with it.
31:14It feels so cozy and warm.
31:16Yes.
31:16I'm glad they did muted colors.
31:18Same.
31:18Then they used pops of colors with the furniture, which I think was a better use of color.
31:22I completely agree.
31:23I love that they used a wallpaper in here.
31:25Mm.
31:26I like the touch, but I think the Roman clay with the mural, that's maybe where the tones just don't
31:32quite flow.
31:34Mm-hmm.
31:34So, what do you guys think about the podium?
31:36Beautiful.
31:37This is a special piece that can be used season to season to season.
31:41They made the Bachelor Mansion sexy.
31:43Mm-hmm.
31:45Here's a room that I used to always forget about.
31:46The candle room.
31:47This is very different from what this room used to look like.
31:52It was Courtney, Joan, and Sam.
31:56Wow.
31:56So pretty.
31:57And I really like that they did the light stain here and then the dark stain on the ceiling treatment.
32:02Mm-hmm.
32:02I think it draws your eye in different directions.
32:04I love the built-in.
32:05I do wish the walls on the insides were a little bit thicker, not just an overhang like this.
32:10Kind of gives it a little bit of a cheaper look.
32:12And just wish the sconce would fit.
32:14Ah.
32:15This trim was better.
32:16That's a good eye.
32:17I agree.
32:18And that art looks handmade.
32:19It is.
32:20Wow.
32:20Oh, my God.
32:21In the past, this wall was loaded with candles.
32:25I mean, it was called the candle room for a reason.
32:27For a reason.
32:28I think I walk in here and feel like, oh, it's a living room.
32:30I don't think it's as dramatic as the old candle room.
32:33It's a fresh take on it.
32:34I don't know if it's going to have the same effect.
32:36You all want a drink?
32:38Yeah.
32:38Sweet.
32:39Let's go.
32:39Shaking and stir.
32:42We haven't even found out who has golden screws.
32:45What do you think the golden screwdriver does?
32:48Do you think they'll screw somebody?
32:50Yeah, I feel like you'll probably send somebody home.
32:53It definitely gets you immunity, but it can't be from this challenge,
32:56because we don't even know who it is yet.
32:57I don't truly know what's going on.
32:59I just know there's tomfoolery afoot.
33:02And I can't put my finger on it.
33:04Yeah.
33:04Something's coming.
33:07Wow.
33:08What do you think?
33:10It's very pretty.
33:12This was Brendan, Tammy, and Noah.
33:16As a former bachelorette, I love the rose there.
33:20It's not, like, so in your face.
33:22I just think the whole wall feels kind of flat.
33:24It's just everything's the same color.
33:26For me, I would have liked to see it either inside or outside, but not both.
33:32I agree.
33:32It doesn't pop.
33:33So this is actually really special.
33:35You did not know that there was a wine cellar behind this.
33:37It almost looked like it was just, like, an image behind it,
33:39because it was fully covered in waterfall glass.
33:42I think this is gorgeous.
33:44Yes.
33:45It's stunning.
33:46This is much more modern, much more sleek.
33:48I like this part a lot.
33:49I love this.
33:50It does feel like a really high-end restaurant.
33:51It definitely is super eye-catching.
33:53I think they nailed that.
33:54Overall, I think every single one of these spaces are gorgeous.
33:59They did an excellent job considering how much time they had,
34:02and so this is going to be a really tough decision.
34:05Let's call everybody back in.
34:09All right, everybody.
34:11We're going to start with the living room space.
34:13First thing I noticed is the mural.
34:16Whose decision was that?
34:18Jill.
34:20Dean was such a high-breaking vote.
34:26I love it.
34:28I love it.
34:29We talked about it in the beginning.
34:30We're supposed to take risks and add a fun, fresh take on the mansion,
34:34and I thought it did just that.
34:38Oh, my God.
34:39Everybody's going to have a different opinion,
34:41and you know what they say about opinions.
34:43They're just like,
34:44everyone's got one, and they think so.
34:47The thing that should have stood out a little bit more
34:50was your essence of the rose.
34:52I love the podium.
34:53I think it's beautiful.
34:54However, I'm not going to lie,
34:55it did get lost when I was looking at the room as a whole.
35:00For me, the wallpaper feels a bit overdone.
35:04But I think that the color choices in here
35:07are such a significant improvement from the before.
35:10It feels really cozy, intentional, well thought out.
35:14Thanks.
35:15Now, we're going to talk about the candle room.
35:18Christina.
35:19I think this room is stunning.
35:20The first thing I noticed when I walked into the space
35:22was that tile.
35:24I am a sucker for a star and a cross,
35:27and the color is so pretty.
35:28I think it's such a nice homage to the rose.
35:30It's a room I would have in my own house.
35:33I really like it.
35:34I love this hand-painted art.
35:36Courtney, did you do that?
35:37Yes.
35:38Job well done there.
35:40The way that you guys use the furniture
35:42and the decor from Wayfair,
35:44you guys did a phenomenal job.
35:45I think it just filled the space wonderfully.
35:48But the candle room is the candle room.
35:50I thought I could just have been a little bit more
35:53symbolic of that.
35:54It's such a dramatic room, but the candles fell a little flat.
36:00Now, the bar area and the wine cellar.
36:03The first thing I noticed was the rose detail.
36:08I thought that was so special.
36:11I love it so much.
36:12What I love is the countertop.
36:13I like that you carry it through here
36:14when you got rid of the waterfall glass.
36:16Looking at the built-in,
36:19I don't know if it's maybe the finish from the Roman clay
36:21or if it's just because the arches aren't that deep.
36:24I'm just not a big fan of it.
36:26I absolutely love the wine rack.
36:28I think it really pops.
36:30It looks super high-end.
36:31I think it's gonna make a really beautiful backdrop
36:33for the rose ceremony.
36:35Looks stunning.
36:38So, after a lot of consideration,
36:40the judges have made their decision.
36:43The winning team is...
37:06The living space, Jill, Alicia, and Dean.
37:11Yay!
37:14When you take a risk, it pays off sometimes.
37:19Oh, my God.
37:21As the winning team,
37:23each of you will now elect one person
37:25from the losing spaces
37:28that you think should be up for elimination.
37:32How?
37:34Please head into the deliberation room
37:36and cast your belts.
37:39This is gonna be really hard.
37:44You guys have any, like, immediate people
37:46to lob out there?
37:47Well, I hate everybody.
37:49Kind of stupid for us
37:50to put two girls in the bottom.
37:51Yeah, I agree.
37:52I think we do two boys,
37:53and I think we go...
37:54Oh, wait a second.
37:54Wait a second.
37:55Wait a second.
37:56Like, I have a huge concern
37:58that boys are gonna boy.
37:59I don't feel comfortable
38:00moving into the next elimination
38:01knowing we've given you guys
38:02that power to come back, and...
38:04Because you're not gonna do that for us.
38:06No, they're not.
38:06That's totally fair, yeah.
38:08I would love to send Joan home.
38:09I have a feeling my name's gonna be...
38:12I think mine will be on there.
38:13Definitely.
38:13I do.
38:14I think Jill will save me.
38:15Just as retaliation.
38:17I'm also wondering if they're thinking
38:20long game, like...
38:22Or they're just using this as a personal vendetta.
38:25Yeah.
38:26Dean and I have a spit handshake
38:28that we're leaning on.
38:29For me, I'm thinking at least I can ride on the fact
38:32that Dean's got my back.
38:33I mean, Brendan and Sam, I think,
38:36would be easy pickings at the end.
38:38So I think we gotta go...
38:39So Noah's a bigger threat.
38:40I know, but that's my boy.
38:41Okay, but who cares?
38:42Let's put him out to pasture.
38:43And those are our girls,
38:44so that's a fair...
38:45Right, exactly.
38:45That's a fair...
38:47What I've decided?
38:48I don't really care enough about Noah
38:51to not send him home,
38:52so just put Noah down there.
38:53That's fine.
38:58I was on the guy's side
38:59because we had that first challenge together.
39:01Now I'm kind of, like,
39:01maybe leaning more towards the middle
39:03with the girls
39:03because we just won that challenge together.
39:06I don't know where I'm gonna go from here,
39:08but I guess if you just keep winning,
39:10it doesn't really matter.
39:23Alicia, Jill, and Dean,
39:24as the winning team,
39:26you've casted your votes,
39:27and now I'm going to reveal them.
39:33Brendan.
39:40Tammy.
39:41Wow.
39:46Noah.
39:48Cute.
39:50I think you can tell who voted for you.
39:54Does he have an ugly mustache?
39:57All right.
39:58That means the bottom three this week.
40:00Brendan,
40:01Noah,
40:02and Tammy.
40:03And one of you
40:04will be going home today.
40:09But, yesterday,
40:10you all competed for the golden screwdriver.
40:12That's a power that we've been keeping under wraps.
40:14And the challenge was simple.
40:17Cut a piece of wood as close as you could
40:19to 17 and a half inches
40:20without going over.
40:22And the results are in.
40:25And the winner,
40:26who finished just one sixteenth of an inch shy
40:29of hitting the exact target...
40:31Greasy.
40:34...is Brendan.
40:35Wow.
40:39See ya, pal.
40:43Here's the thing.
40:44The golden screwdriver carries ultimate power.
40:48It doesn't change who the bottom three are,
40:50but it does decide who goes home tonight.
40:57That's bad.
41:00So, Brendan.
41:04You're obviously safe tonight.
41:07But you're also going to be choosing
41:08between Tammy and Noah
41:10on who will be going home.
41:14You know, I love that I have immunity,
41:16but I don't know if I want the power
41:18of the golden screwdriver.
41:21These are my people, though.
41:22Come on.
41:24Brendan, can you come up here
41:25and join us, please?
41:26Oh, my God.
41:28I really feel bad for Brendan
41:30because Brendan is good friends with Tammy,
41:32and Brendan and I are both good friends.
41:34We're both on the same season together.
41:36I love Tammy, but I want to win.
41:39You want to do it right now, Jesse?
41:40Mm-hmm.
41:41Come on.
41:43It would suck so badly if I went home.
41:47I feel like my time here isn't finished.
41:49I still have so much to prove to myself
41:52and the others in the house
41:53and the world to see what I can do.
41:58Damn it.
42:00Damn it.
42:16Um...
42:17I'm sorry, guys.
42:19I freaking had so much fun with you two
42:21doing this challenge, but...
42:27Your challenge now takes place in the pool area.
42:31This is the Bachelor Mansion diving contest.
42:36Every time I give an opinion, like, thus far,
42:39it gets poo-pooed on.
42:40Having Courtney on our team is creating problems.
42:42Too yellow in the middle, too green on the outside.
42:44No, I think we should alternate.
42:45Okay, I think we shouldn't.
42:47Yeah.
42:47I think that's a horrible idea and we're gonna lose.
42:48Remember that piece from the ceiling?
42:50They're using it.
42:51We were told we can't use it.
42:52We might not be doing enough.
42:53I don't like it.
42:54Mmm.
