00:01A sleeping baby is a sweet thing, but doctors warn that co-sleeping could be dangerous.
00:07The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that in 2020, 905 babies died from accidental suffocation.
00:16Pediatric nurse practitioner Candle Johnson told Insider,
00:21When you're in a deep sleep and your infant is next to you, you're not able to say, I won't
00:26roll over on them.
00:27But co-sleeping isn't the only dangers to babies at bedtime.
00:32Loose-fitting sheets or a mattress that is too soft can also add risk of sleep-related death.
00:38And the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that you remember back to sleep when it's bedtime.
00:45Placing a baby on his back is the best solution.
