16:12deal with this you just you've just gotten a full-on trainer and i mean you're it looks like a

16:17just stepped in a really cold water right no no it does not oh it's actually the the shells on

16:38uh how was shooting this movie christopher nolan fantastic yeah yeah it was it was absolutely the
16:44the pinnacle of my entire career i loved every minute of it yeah i just loved it
16:51then you visited uh you visited on set yeah i did and um i'm a huge fan of chris's and
16:57uh you know
16:58it was one of those things where my kids never want to come to the set when i'm working they're
17:01like hey you guys we're doing a thing on the set and they're like no no i got school
17:06right now i get detention but uh they were really psyched to come visit this set they they my my
17:12metal child's really interested in actually reading the alien the odyssey and and we went there and it
17:18was really great i mean it was this incredible sort of like you know this is the way we the
17:23hollywood
17:24made movies and they were great epic in-camera david lean movies and chris is a really serious guy
17:29and somebody i admire i know you know believes the set's like a place to work it's not schmoozing
17:34whatever so i was really uh honestly grateful this is our uh is a big show for us because we're
17:38following the nba on nbc and i was going to ask you if last time we had martha stewart on
17:43the show
17:43she said that you sat courtside and jalen brunson stepped on her toe and broke her toe uh i i've
17:49seen
17:49you guys courtside before has anyone ever uh fell on you or i went to i went to a lakers
17:55game uh with
17:56my son i guess last year and it was lucas like i think it's one of the first or second
18:01games that
18:01he was playing after the trade uh and uh i was pretty honored because he did come carry me into
18:07the stands knock into the guy next to me spilled all of his beer on me and kind of i
18:12don't know you
18:12say this on you know national television but he was positioned in a way towards me where his
18:17big mean least attractive part was right in my face and i think they got some photos of that
18:23my son loved it yeah yeah he loved it i had i had a great experience in 2008 uh where
18:30the celtics
18:31were playing the lakers and i got yeah and i got tickets and uh through our agent and and was
18:37sitting there and uh mark walberg was had i got two seats mark got two seats and so we were
18:42sitting
18:42by each other and phil jackson the celtics went on a run and mark and i were next to the
18:47lakers bench
18:47like we had such incredible seats and we jumped up and we're you know probably a little boston a
18:53little obnoxious and phil jackson jumped called a timeout and turned and and literally said you're
18:59gonna have to bleep this he goes sit down and shut the up to me and mark yeah yeah yeah
19:05phil jackson
19:06it was like and we were like like we're like we're like we're in the cool this is the history
19:12of the celtics lakers like we're like extras like we're like extras that was great that's so fun
19:18uh let's talk about the rip congratulations on this oh my gosh thank you two star together on screen
19:27uh tell tell tell about this story but by the way it's it's oh so many twists and turns
19:32and it's so thrilling and it's almost like you don't know what's going to happen who directed this
19:35it's joe carnahan who also wrote it and he spent a lot of time with this this team down in
19:41miami
19:41they're called the tactical narcotics team and they and they uh raid these houses and they seize
19:47money like like money that's kind of from ill-gotten gains you know like drug money or weapons but you
19:52know and they and they seize the money and um and and down in miami they have to count it
19:58on site
19:59and so this is based on inspired by something that really did happen where this team went in
20:03to hit a house thinking they were going to get you know 70 000 bucks or whatever was hidden there
20:07uh because they have these dogs that actually smell money yeah so they they they the dog you know they
20:13they got a tip on this house they went in the dog alerted that there was something in there they
20:18went in and there was over 20 million dollars in the walls of this house 20 million 20 million
20:23dollars no and so this team now is in this house and they're kind of stuck there because they have
20:28to count it on site you have to count every dollar and they know that people are probably going to
20:33come
20:33back for it so so that's the kind of the premise of the movie um where these guys and it
20:38and it kind
20:39of tests their own you know the the the loyalties within the team because there's there are rumblings
20:44that there might be somebody corrupt there might be a bad apple in the in the gang and so that's
20:49kind
20:49of what the movie is you know it's loosely based on it's loosely based on and the real guys the
20:53real
20:53team we got to go work with them and go down to miami and what was that like great i
20:57mean just
20:57that anytime you do research like that it were true i mean these are guys like part of what was
21:01really kind of first was like this great like you say it's a thriller it's a whodunit it's very
21:06kind of very kind of classic broback setup but it's a very modern take on it and but it depends
21:11on
21:12you really believing and investing in these people this team of of of cops that go in there because it's
21:18not
21:18you know it's like somebody's the good guy and the bad guy is that we're all kind of it's about
21:21what happens with temptation how people turn on each other and not knowing who you can trust yes
21:26and you got to make those you know performances realistic as possible and joda really cool thing
21:30which not only brought us down there to meet them but also brought those guys up we shot uh in
21:35l.a
21:36and in new jersey and so all the real cops and detectives were in the movie like as so you
21:41really
21:41feel like a real cop when the guy next to you is a real cop and they were they were
21:46pretty good
21:47actors too it turns out i guess it's so good it's so the cast is fantastic tiana taylor yeah
21:52yeah amazing steven yon steven yon yeah kyle chandler yes it's on netflix it's really really
21:58yeah it's a it's a really really good cast until the end you're like what is going on i didn't

22:02who i mean it was fantastic it's great uh and you also produced this yes uh film what the name
22:08of
22:08your company's artist equity artist equity can you explain to everyone what kind of what you're
22:11doing with this this thing is basically you know netflix obviously streaming platform business is
22:16obviously changing there's been a lot going on and what we're kind of trying to do is the old days
22:20they were sort of you knew how a movie did and you could get bonuses based on the box office
22:24performance
22:25and what we wanted to do is try to adapt that model to what's happening on streaming
22:28to and um for a bunch of reasons but basically uh one of the thing that was important to us
22:33is we
22:34really believe that it's not just the cast and the writers and the directors but that the environment
22:37every single person involved that if they're committed to making the movie good it's very likely to be
22:43better it's really a collaborative art form and so um the structure that we created look you know the
22:49more people that watch it you know the more levels that will hit but the thing that was important to
22:53us principally was it also includes you know 1200 uh crew members you know every you know painter
22:58stand by painter greensman camera and whatever it is exactly right yeah and so um good for you so the
23:03more you guys watch this movie not that we can suggest that you just leave it on unless you you're
23:08a
23:08good person we would never suggest that yeah i would never say that i mean your actions will have a
23:13real impact
23:13and put it on loop and just play it and play i wouldn't say that i i would know but
23:17if you
23:18haven't happened to do that happen crew members would make would make a lot of money
