00:00Martin Perez, the crafty lefty, will be on the mound for those Atlanta Braves
00:03going up against Brandon Fought.
00:04This line, it is a pick-em across the board,
00:07and a total that opened up at 9, still sitting at 9 at most outlets,
00:11but some outlets creeping towards the 9.5.
00:13So yesterday, maybe an anomaly on the scoreboard.
00:16Today, maybe more runs scored, but what we're seeing now, Craig,
00:19doesn't look like we got too big of a discrepancy in that price point.
00:22A toss-up out there in the desert.
00:24Yeah, definitely so.
00:26Ozzie Albies is a name to watch today.
00:28He's off to a really good start.
00:30He's hitting a couple of home runs to start the season,
00:32so he would be a name to watch.
00:34The name that I'm watching also for the Braves,
00:37because this is kind of carrying over, Donnie, from last season,
00:39is Austin Riley.
00:40What's going on with Austin Riley, man?
00:42Is this guy going to come back?
00:43Is he going to get hot?
00:44This would be the day to do it.
00:46Braves are off to a much better start than last season.
00:50Donnie, they lost, I felt like, every game in April,
00:53the Braves did last year, and buried themselves.
00:57Martin Perez, maybe this is a good signing for them.
01:00Man, he was great the last time out.
01:02He'll pitch again today.
01:03Kind of like Atlanta to win again.
01:05Yeah.
01:06I'm with you on Atlanta's side of things.
01:08And if you're just looking, again, early season statistics,
01:10most of these batters, Craig, going up against righties,
01:12only between, what, 20 to 25 at-bats if they had.
01:14But the Braves have really shown out well.
01:16Ronald Acuna struggling to start the season against righties.
01:19But after that, Baldwin, very good numbers.
01:21Olsen, very good numbers.
01:22You pointed out Austin Riley, bad numbers against right into pitching.
01:24But it picks right back up.
01:26Yashremski coming over, having a solid season.
01:27Albies as well.
01:28And also, Craig, Dominic Smith out here.
01:31I believe he had another RBI again last night.
01:33375 ISO and a 508 weighted on base percentage
01:36just against right-handed pitching.
01:38Now, Faut last year struggled with lefties and righties.
01:40Sort of a down season for him.
01:42Only 24 batters this season, Craig.
01:44He's actually been improved.
01:45But I like that Braves lineup.
01:46Conversely, flip it over to Martin Perez, who is a crafty lefty.
01:49You know who's not hitting lefties all that well?
01:51Well, that's the Arizona Diamondbacks outside of Carroll,
01:54who has nine at-bats against lefties this year at 375 ISO.
01:58Nobody's done any damage whatsoever outside of three at-bats here.
02:01So I do look for the Braves here having the edge
02:04and maybe coming back last night after that close loss,
02:06maybe a close victory today.
02:08Yeah, and flipping it back to Atlanta,
02:09when they got Mauricio Dubon, he was sort of like an extra player for them.
02:13Now he's playing every day.
02:15He's off to a tremendous start too, batting 357 on the season,
02:18one home run, six runs driven in.
02:21It feels like Atlanta may have pushed the right buttons
02:24with a lot of their players.
02:25They were more aggressive this past offseason.
02:28I know they had those injuries to the pitchers at the start of the year,
02:30but it hasn't affected them at all.
02:32So kudos to them.
02:33Six and three start.
02:34Six and three start.
02:34Six and three start.
