00:18They didn't do an awful lot at the trade deadline, although they did try, apparently, to get Jacob DeGrom.
00:25And it was like, yeah, no, DeGrom's like, yeah, I don't want to leave Texas.
00:30I'm good here. So, but listen, they are what they are.
00:34We forget how good they were early in the season. They got 70 wins.
00:39They still could get home field advantage throughout.
00:42They could still have the best record in Major League Baseball when it's all said and done, certainly in the

00:48So what do we make of Atlanta tonight taking on the Yankees and their former pitcher, Max Fried?
00:54Yeah, and then one of those guys where he's making his new team debut, Tyler Molle,
01:00who, you know, for the most part at San Francisco was awful. He did pitch a little bit better.
01:04Final seven starts, two and two, 3.79. But overall, he's three and nine with an ERA over five.
01:12I mean, it shows you how desperate the Braves are for starting pitchers.
01:15But I tell you what, they would have gotten, you know, DeGrom.
01:18You know, you pencil him in there, you know, behind sale. And that's a one-two, you know, solid punch.
01:24You know, that would have put them, you know, back in the game, if you will.
01:27So, but they ended the first half of the season slumping.
01:31And now they've won eight straight.
01:33They've outscored their opponents 43-17.
01:35So it's not just, you know, four or three games.
01:38They're beating the snot out of teams, including a sweep of Miami.
01:41Their starting pitchers have been the story.
01:43Now, again, throw Molly out of the equation.
01:45But that's the last 15 games, Joe, starting pitchers 2.17 ERA.
01:50So they're getting the job done.
01:52Freed, though, is facing his former team for the first time.
01:55I don't think he left here in bad terms, you know, as a free agent signing with the Stanks a

02:01But I don't mind, you know, putting money on a guy that is facing his team for the first time.
02:06So, Yanks can't hit their way out of a paper bag.
02:09I mean, surprisingly enough, they're awful at home, too.

02:15But, you know, give me Freed, who's – this is his fourth start since coming up the DL.
02:21They've thrown a few more pitches with him, 57-66, and now 78 his last start.
02:26So he probably can go 80-plus, you know, and get a max effort, you know, good solid 6-7

02:36They opened up minus 150 last night, Scott, and we're seeing nearly a 30-cent move against them.

03:46I would think you can't really move it up.
03:49But I would think you'd want to try and get a couple of innings in, but then that screws up

03:54So maybe they just say, okay, let this thing blow through.

03:59But, and I would double check, you know, before you put your money down, you know, some of these sites

04:11aren't being pushed back, or even if they are, maybe there's more rain that they don't know.
