01:57So rides like this, proving that he can get to the front.
02:01You think about that race win he got at the Triple Crown in Indianapolis.
02:04They are so pivotal to prove to the decision makers that this is a guy that can win races
02:09in the future, and he deserves to remain on factory equipment.

02:14Remember, the regular season, he was top position.
02:19He went in the number one seat in the playoffs last year.
02:28He's got the one podium on the season so far this year.
02:32But, you know, think back to last season.
02:34In the second half is when Justin Cooper really came to prominence.
02:38Well, and he started battling for heat race wins.
02:40He's battling for pole position in qualifying practice and podiums.
02:44and the names, and I think he's doing better than last year because, quite frankly, I believe
02:50that the field is more stacked this season.
02:53Yeah, it was quite depleted through injury last year, for sure.

03:10We saw Joey ride off the racetrack in a lot of pain.
03:13We weren't really sure what happened, that he misses the Birmingham round, and we started
03:17to get more information as he was back for Detroit.
03:19Well, he's out there racing with a broken bone, and it's just behind his big toe.
03:24We're speaking to some medical professionals this week about the pain involved in that.
03:28So you see him chasing here, putting pressure on McElrath.
03:31Can't feel all that comfortable out there for the number 17 while he's doing it.

03:41So he's worked his way up into the top five.

03:52Haven't seen him up front in a while, so another guy that brings a lot of speed

04:02How big a DLRC did you think that podium was for Chase Sexton last week?
04:06Coming back, it was nice to hear some freshness in his voice, some excitement.
04:11And he comes straight back after missing several rounds after that practice crash.

04:20He needed some more race fitness.
04:22And for an elite athlete like him, it's always strange to hear stuff like that.
04:27But feeling good, feeling better this week, and we'll see what he can do in tonight's main.

04:41And to come back and get on that podium really, honestly, is no surprise.

04:52especially sitting off a few weeks with an injury that he couldn't really ride because of the severity of the
