00:10Hey guys, we just got back from the Super Mario Galaxy movie
00:17in its quest to make a billion dollars.
00:22This is three years later after the first, the first film.
00:27Still not wrong about it.
00:29We famously got reamed by our fans and the internet for being not kind to the film.
00:36We gave it a 5 out of 10, if I remember right.
00:39I think y'all might have given it less than me.
00:43And we're back with the same directorial team, the same writer, Matthew Fogle, but a new story.
00:51We go to the galaxy.
00:53We use a lot of new characters and the stars, the star kids, who are freaking adorable.
01:00And I gotta say, I actually enjoyed this film's characters better.
01:09It's pacing was at least initially a little bit better.
01:15And then everything kind of falls apart back to the insane mile-a-minute pace of the previous one
01:26where nothing feels explored.
01:29Deb, things are just kind of thrown on the screen.
01:32And honestly, it started to feel as if I was watching an 8-episode Disney Plus series,
01:38just jam-packed within an hour and some minute runtime.
01:46And it's a 98-minute runtime.
01:49This movie is jam-packed.
01:52It is cluttered.
01:53There are tons of character cameos.
01:56And yeah, Nintendo is basically throwing everything at the screen.
02:02And I will say, visually, it's really awesome.
02:06I think the animators are doing their job at the best possible level.
02:12You can see the charm, the smiles, even the acting in the characters' eyes
02:18as they go from sad to filled with hope to, you know, action scenes are cool and awesome.
02:28And everything seems to be working at surface level.
02:33But I just wish that the story, the jokes, and the characterization was there to support it.
02:41And I get that this is, I don't know, you know, I feel like, is this a Universal Pictures thing?
02:47Is this an Illumination thing?
02:50But honestly, when I watch the Illumination, you know, the little Minions films, I laugh.
02:57I laugh a lot.
02:59And in this film, it only made me laugh once.
03:02It made me and Joel laugh once at the end.
03:05And I just wish that there was more emotion going on.
03:09And so it's much like the first film.
03:13It goes a mile a minute.
03:15It's just like, hey, here's this next, here's this thing.
03:16Hey, do you remember this?
03:17Hey, do you remember that?
03:18Hey, do you remember this?
03:19And I was like, damn it.
03:20After such a great start where they were taking their time with the characters.
03:24Essentially, Yoshi is introduced here and he has nothing to do.
03:30We just go on.
03:31He was the tease in the first film.
03:33So I thought, oh, he's going to New York.
03:36We're going to get some cool shit with Yoshi.
03:39His story, his backstory, nada.
03:41None of that.
03:42In fact, I don't even think they ride Yoshi one time.
03:46And, you know, I just felt if you're a Yoshi fan, yes, he's cute.
03:50Yes, he's got an adorable voice.
03:52But he just thrown in here.
03:54He's one of the pack.
03:54And then I don't know if I should spoil it, but there's a there's a it seems as if Nintendo
04:01is just throwing every single character they have into these films.
04:04So there's crossovers with a bunch of other characters.
04:10And, you know, it's cool to see them, but it's like, yeah, but I'd rather you take him serious.
04:14Or I'd rather him get his own spinoff film.
04:17Let me just say it.
04:18Star Fox.
04:19OK, Star Fox is in the film and he plays a part barely in the film.
04:25Donkey Kong, not here.
04:27It's as if he never even existed.
04:29Not here.
04:30He didn't even do anything once.
04:31Guess you didn't.
04:32I guess they didn't want to pay, you know, for the voice actor for him.
04:38And it took 40 minutes for Jack Black to show up as Bowser.
04:42I was interested in what they were going to do with Bowser here.
04:46And then again, drop that plot line completely right back to, you know, standard fare.
04:53And yeah.
04:55And so unfortunately, as much as I wanted to come out and say, because in our first review, I was
05:00like, maybe the sequel is going to be better.
05:02Maybe the sequel is going to be a little different.
05:04They're going to focus on the characters.
05:05While they do a little bit, I actually like the characters here more.
05:11I like the characters.
05:12I like the cute little stars.
05:15These little adorable children.
05:18And I'm happy that the Mario brothers get to spend more time together, Luigi and Mario.
05:25But ultimately, it still doesn't feel like a satisfying story.
05:30It feels like Member Berries, the movie at a thousand miles a minute.
05:35And maybe this is just what works these days.
05:38I mean, we've seen this kind of pacing and a little bit in Superman.
05:41We've seen it a little bit in Minecraft, the movie.
05:44And of course, in the first Mario film.
05:47A lot of money.
05:47And these things are making money.
05:49Minecraft one too.
05:50I don't know.
05:51That's my initial opinion on a Super Mario Galaxy movie.
05:56So if you want to downvote us up front again for being those crabby critics that, you know, are fucking
06:01idiots and retards and don't know what they're saying or doing, go ahead.
06:05Yeah.
06:05And there's that excuse.
06:06It's not meant for you.
06:07It's like, yeah, it can be though.
06:08Like, because the parents have to go watch the movie and say, hey, this is a good message.
06:12This is a feel good.
06:13It's a feel good for everyone.
06:15But this, again, was not, like you said, a mile a minute.
06:18These plots that I did want to focus on, they dropped it real quick.
06:22And to reiterate what you said, I wanted some more of the Yoshi stuff because they teased in the first
06:28one.
06:28I was like, okay, it would be pretty cool.
06:29And they're like, oh, well, he's here and he's part of the gang.
06:32Like, we've known him.
06:34But I didn't get to spend that much time.
06:36And you don't really get to spend that much time with the characters, so you don't really feel for them
06:39a lot.
06:41And, again, it has no, like, heart like the first one.
06:45It's just, like, moving to point A to point B just because we need to throw out some jokes.
06:52A lot of them didn't work.
06:53There was a couple of good ones.
06:54I did like the Star Fox stuff, but it was pretty short.
06:57Yeah, and it's just Star Fox who doesn't bring his cast of lovable characters with him.
07:04Yeah, and then Bowser, his situation was kind of dealt with pretty quick.
07:09I thought they were going to linger on that a little bit more because he does kind of feel bad.
07:14But then he's like, meh, it's fine.
07:16He seems like he's a rehabilitated Bowser kind of thing.
07:19Yeah.
07:20But then they dropped this plot line pretty quick.
07:21And, again, they dropped so many things that I was kind of interested in.
07:24And then they just, like, start jam-packing things.
07:27And there's, like, just so you could be like, oh, look, shiny thing, shiny thing.
07:30The world doesn't feel real to me.
07:33You know what I mean?
07:34Like, I try to get into the world and universe here.
07:37You know, Sega with Sonic, it feels real.
07:40It feels like, oh, this shit makes sense.
07:43Okay, Robotnik makes interesting things.
07:46And these things are based in somewhat reality.
07:48I know it's crazy to say that, right?
07:50But then here it's just like, you press this and then you get this power and then you're, then it's
07:56like, I get it from the video games.
07:57And a lot of it is.
07:59But I want these things set up individually on the mom and then have that epic moment of triumph.
08:06But if you're just throwing 17 things out there at once, it's like at any moment anything can happen.
08:12And it just doesn't feel grounded.
08:16I did, like, obviously the animation is spot on.
08:20It's fucking 11 out of 10.
08:23Yes.
08:24So it just looks fucking great.
08:27I still like the cast, obviously, except for Chris, but whatever.
08:32Donald Glover did a good job.
08:34You're not used to Chris Pratt at this point as Mario?
08:37I think he does it fine.
08:39Wahoo!
08:39But everything else, kind of, yeah, yeah.
08:42Yeah, it's just Chris Pratt.
08:43But everything is still good.
08:45But, again, the story was very paper thin.
08:49I can't even tell Keegan-Michael Kaye is, I can't even tell his voice there.
08:53They altered pretty hard.
08:54They definitely altered his voice.
08:55Yeah, I like how they switched to the pixel art and the CGI.
09:00Pretty cool.
09:02But there is definitely some different animation style here.
09:05They do some paper mache stuff.
09:07They do the video game stuff.
09:09They do the illumination animation.
09:12All this shit is running 10 out of 10 for me, right?
09:15And then the way the characters look, the animation, the music.
09:21I just wish the writing and the directing and the focus would be there.
09:26Yeah, because, again, like I didn't feel for Bowser Jr. or Bowser and their sad moments they were supposed to
09:35share.
09:35And I'm like, it feels off.
09:39Something feels off.
09:40Yeah.
09:40So it has to be the writing or storytelling.
09:43Well, I loved it.
09:44And 10 out of 10, no notes.
09:47No, my expectations were lower.
09:48The first one I didn't think was very good and people didn't like it.
09:51How dare you?
09:52The first one has a 95% audience.
09:55Yeah, so does a kid's Happy Meal.
09:57But when you're a parent and you buy your kid a Happy Meal, you know you're not feeding them something
10:01good.
10:02You're feeding them something that will distract them.
10:03It's got a toy in it.
10:04And it makes them happy and quiet for a short period of time.
10:07But you know it's not good.
10:09You know it isn't good.
10:10And that's what this is.
10:11This is a Happy Meal that will make a billion dollars.
10:14It's not a good story.
10:15It is gorgeous because Illumination is super good at what they do.
10:18But like the story isn't any – like we watch some of these movies.
10:22You go back and you watch the Shrek movie that came out the same year as the Mario movie.
10:26The Last Wish.
10:27Like you feel stuff for these characters.
10:30And kids can enjoy that and parents can enjoy that.
10:32That is a good kids movie.
10:34Didn't make as much money.
10:36It was a failure.
10:37Well, it made some money.
10:39But like Shrek 1 is like the one that – you know, they always look back.
10:42That one everyone can enjoy.
10:43But writing is hard.
10:45And so instead of doing writing and emotion and dialogue, we got multiple nonstop rapid fire soulless IP milking where
10:55they go from place to place to place in 10-second little bursts.
10:58And you're like, oh, I recognize that.
11:00I recognize that.
11:01I've heard this.
11:02That's what's in the video game.
11:02I've heard this music before.
11:04And it's a huge portion of this movie.
11:05It's just going from scene to scene to scene because there's nothing in this movie.
11:09But look at the thing.
11:10I know.
11:10It's great for kids.
11:11If you're one of those people that have to have, like, jingle keys in front of your kids, park them
11:15in front of this and they're going to be –
11:16Oh, you are good.
11:17This is a great kids film.
11:19But also I've seen great kids films that have a good emotional pinning and undertone and story.
11:27This will be a successful kids film because I think you're successful that the kids will watch it.
11:31The kids will pay to go see it.
11:33But I just don't think that this is going to be one that they're going to look back on the
11:36way that we can look back on some of the kids' movies that we've seen recently and long, long, long,
11:41long time ago.
11:42Hercules.
11:42Where you're like, this is a great movie and this is something that I'd want to show to someone else.
11:47This is something you watch one time and any time you watch beyond this, you're suffering through because your kid
11:51wants to watch it over and over and over again.
11:53So happy that I looked it up.
11:54Puss in Boots, The Last Wish was not a flop.
11:56Oh, thank God.
11:57Because, you know, people were ragging on that film because it didn't make all the money in the universe even
12:01though it was a great film.
12:02No, it did $480 million worldwide on a $90 million budget.
12:06Yeah, I mean, and then a film like Super Mario Brothers does more than double, probably triple that because I
12:11think it's at $1.3 billion going to $1.4 billion.
12:15I don't think that this actually, I actually don't think this film is going to do as well as the
12:22first film.
12:22Which is weird because I actually think this one is slightly better than the first one.
12:25Yeah.
12:25So I think it's still going to make a billion.
12:27It probably won't make $1.4 billion.
12:29I think it would probably just pass a billion and that will be kind of where it is.
12:33But, yeah, I was expecting a better villain.
12:41Didn't get it.
12:42You know, where is my man?
12:45Well, no, I mean, y'all already know this.
12:48You know, Waluigi, Wario, I guess they're saving that stuff for a third film because all this stuff could definitely,
12:56I mean, if you're making a billion off each film, we're going to get there eventually.
13:00It's just sad to see this particular franchise treated as a soup.
13:05Just throw everything in there.
13:08Put it all on the screen.
13:10We don't have moments of reflection.
13:12We don't have emotional moments.
13:14We don't have great backstory.
13:16Now, this is the first time in history where they're kind of addressing Peach's origin.
13:19The first film kind of did that.
13:21That was interesting.
13:22So they expand that a little bit here, but not as much as you're hoping.
13:27And it just, again, it doesn't have the emotional resonance as it should as you're setting it up.
13:34And it's just visually a freaking treat, but it doesn't have the substance behind it.
13:43It's cotton candy.
13:44And cotton candy is great for kids.
13:47But if you're eating too much cotton candy, eventually you're going to throw up.
13:53And I just want it to be something a little bit better.
13:56And it's a shame because, like I said, the animation and the talent, and I'm good.
14:02I'm on board with everything here.
14:04I just wish that they took some more time with the story or have some ambition to tell something interesting
14:13outside of let's try to hit every single fucking thing that we have ever put into the video games.
14:21And let's bring in fucking, what is that video, Clock and Watch?
14:25You know, one of the first little Nintendo things I've got.
14:29We got to give him his moment.
14:30We got to give the Pikmin their moment.
14:33We got to do this as like, do you, though?
14:35Do you?
14:35This is Mario's world.
14:37Why don't we focus on Mario?
14:39Do we have to cross over, you know, Star Fox?
14:42Is the Star Fox universe in the same universe as Mario?
14:45Apparently, yes.
14:46Well, no.
14:47It's a different universe.
14:48He's stranded, Joe.
14:49Okay, fine.
14:51He's stranded.
14:52All right.
14:53That's a cool dude.
14:53He is.
14:55I hope he gets a spinoff.
14:57That's Glenn Powell.
14:58Clearly, they got him fresh off that, you know, Top Gun because they wanted him.
15:03Running man.
15:05Not fresh off his running man success.
15:07It's more like his running man failure.
15:09But now that he's in this, another box office hit for Glenn.
15:15Good.
15:15Our boy from the same, from our school.
15:19All right.
15:20Honestly, I forgot what I gave the first one.
15:22But I think it's, was it four or five?
15:26I don't remember.
15:29But this one, I would say it's still the same.
15:35Whether it was four or five, I don't remember what I gave the first one.
15:39But I think it's the same.
15:39Don't worry about it.
15:40Just focus on this one.
15:42It's the same thing.
15:43Everything, I liked the visuals, but it had no depth.
15:49Like, I wanted an amazing climax or something to happen to make me feel good.
15:55But then all of a sudden, like, we didn't have our lows where our heroes are, like, stranded.
16:01And then they're at the lowest to try to reflect on what's going on.
16:05We didn't have any moments like that to, like, kind of latch onto a character.
16:11See their, the world through their eyes or whatnot.
16:14Everything was just funny moment, funny moment, funny moment.
16:18But it was very funny.
16:19But, yeah, also not funny.
16:21Yeah, a lot of it wasn't funny.
16:22So, it's like, we're stranded here.
16:23It was like, we're at our lowest, but it didn't seem like that.
16:27They're just, like, kind of babies, just goofing off.
16:29Some of it was kind of annoying sometimes.
16:33But, yeah, four for me.
16:37Four.
16:38Yeah.
16:40It's a shame because there's parts where I'm watching this and it's like, wow, this is so cool looking.
16:45And I just was so disappointed while watching these scenes.
16:47It's like, because what I'm seeing is gorgeous, but what they're writing in the scene is just not there.
16:53Everything is muted.
16:54Like, like you said, there's no lows in this film.
16:56Like, everything is brought up to the middle.
16:58And there are no highs in this film.
16:59Everything's dragged back down.
17:00So, there's no elation.
17:02There's no sorrow.
17:04There's no heartbreak.
17:05There's no anything where you...
17:05And there's a story here where you would feel heartbreak because of something that happens to characters.
17:11And then you would feel so happy that they get back together and all this stuff happens.
17:15None of that is here.
17:16Like, absolutely none of that.
17:17I mean, sometimes you watch these movies and you're like, oh, man, I'm thinking about getting choked up.
17:21Nothing.
17:22Absolutely nothing.
17:23The kids behind us, when they were talking in the film, there was no laughter.
17:26They were not laughing at this movie.
17:28And we see kids' movies frequently where everyone is busting up and having a great time.
17:32Nothing.
17:33So, it's like, I don't think they did a good job with this movie.
17:36And I think that if you take your kids to have it, you're going to have a successful outing.
17:39They're going to be happy and quiet.
17:41But you're going to know that this isn't a good movie on its own.
17:44If you're judging this movie based on what the movie put out, which is what I'm trying to do, it's
17:48not good.
17:51They're squeezing every penny they can out of the IP by showing you as much things on the screen as
17:56they possibly can.
17:56And I do think it's better than the last one.
17:59I think I give the last one a three.
18:01So, I think the last one is a bad movie.
18:03And I don't think this one is...
18:05I wouldn't re-watch it.
18:06Yeah.
18:07And I wouldn't re-watch this one either.
18:08And I think this one is slightly better.
18:10So, I'm going to say this is a four instead.
18:11I do think it's a below average.
18:13I have more fun watching the Minions movies.
18:16There's more at least silliness and wackiness going on where I can have a good time.
18:19Look, we can be silly.
18:21We can understand.
18:22So, as long as it's funny, so as long as it works, this is just not doing it.
18:26The Minions and Monsters trailer was funnier than the entire Mario movie.
18:30I love the Minions and Monsters.
18:32I'm actually excited for that film.
18:34It's a dumb fucking presence, but I'm happy to hear you say that.
18:36I'm going to watch all this shit.
18:38We're going to Minions and Monsters.
18:40Yeah.
18:40Well, that movie is going to chop the legs off of Supergirl.
18:44Oh, I know.
18:45Yeah.
18:45Because it comes out in June.
18:46It's like four days after, I think, yeah.
18:49So, but yeah, so below average, but, you know, you're not surprised from me.
18:54Yeah.
18:55Unfortunately, this time I have to agree with critics.
18:58We have some critics here.
18:59Let's see.
18:59Danahan Klein from We're Watching That.
19:02All side quests, no substance.
19:04While filled to the brim with references and Easter eggs, the sequel's somehow even more anemic on the plot front.
19:09Alas, a textbook case of preying on your nostalgia instead of bothering to nourish the intelligence of the fan base.
19:16That's well put.
19:17I mean, that's perfectly put.
19:19That's what I'm trying to say is that you can do both.
19:23And it seems like Nintendo Illumination.
19:26Nintendo probably didn't have anything to do with it.
19:27It's Illumination.
19:28It's Matthew Fogle.
19:30It's the director team of these two gentlemen.
19:36Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic that don't seem to care about that part of it.
19:43So as long as they get as many references in, this is what the fans want.
19:47And honestly, he's right.
19:50It made $1.4 billion.
19:54It had a 95% audience score.
19:57But if you're a movie critic, you're going to disagree.
19:59If you've seen a thousand animated films, you're going to disagree.
20:04You're going to have, you're going to be like, yeah, that's a good one.
20:07But how about this one, huh?
20:09And this one isn't one of the ones that you point to.
20:11It's fine for younger audiences, but it's going to leave, you know, adult viewers, even teenage viewers,
20:16the people who grew up with these licenses, licenses wanting for more and wondering what exactly the point was.
20:24If the point was to get as many things in there as possible and for it to be a visual
20:29splendor, you got it.
20:30But I just wanted more.
20:32You can be successful and popular and not good.
20:35You just have to look at the Kardashians and, like I said, the Happy Meal and stuff like that.
20:38Like, hey, this is trash.
20:40Like, this is not good.
20:41But it's like, oh, but people like it.
20:43It's like, oh, okay, cool.
20:44I'm glad.
20:44Yeah, and people like the fucking Five Nights at Freddy's films as well.
20:49And, again, that, you know, not good horror, not good video game adaptions, and just kind of, unfortunately, a disappointment.
20:58And I hate to be the fucking, you know, contrarian or the, you know, stuck-up movie critic, but we're
21:04trying to explain exactly why.
21:07If you go to the movies, you want to see a good movie, all right?
21:09You want to see a damn good movie.
21:10If we're going, I want it to be good.
21:12It's not like I don't want it to be good, but it is what it is.
21:17It comes from more that idea of let's exploit this license to maximum potential rather than let's tell this really
21:25well-thought-out story that makes you feel for all of the characters.
21:29There's the tropes in there.
21:31There's, you know, the brothers, the family, friends, but none of it hits any hard.
21:40And I think it's because when you're spending 10 minutes in each world and within those 10 minutes, you have
21:47two minutes to give Mario and Luigi his frog outfit, Mario his drill outfit.
21:52You know, you're going things a mile a minute.
21:55And it's like, okay, yeah, but where'd he get that?
21:57Why didn't he just bring it at the beginning?
21:58What, you know, where does this universe, how does this universe, okay, it doesn't matter.
22:02None of it matters.
22:02None of it matters.
22:03Honestly, none of it matters.
22:04None of it matters.
22:04Because, like, the main plot was Bowser and Bowser Jr.
22:07So I thought that we were going to get some more emotional moments and some more heartfelt scenes with them
22:12two.
22:13Yeah.
22:13Is it going?
22:13No.
22:14Yeah, it's on.
22:14Okay.
22:15Yeah.
22:15Just, like, with those two, like, we'll get some more scenes, try to get some bond going on and see
22:19what's going on.
22:20Like, at the end, they'll learn to be better.
22:25He's like, oh, I wasn't there for him.
22:26And now he's looking for me.
22:28It's like, okay.
22:29So at the end of this film, Joe, what did the characters learn?
22:33Absolutely nothing.
22:34Nothing.
22:34Not a goddamn thing.
22:36Bowser didn't learn nothing.
22:38Mario didn't learn nothing.
22:39I guess Peach learned a little bit more about where she comes from.
22:46She remembered.
22:46Yeah.
22:47She remembered.
22:48Yeah.
22:48She remembered.
22:49But that's it.
22:50Bowser and Bowser Jr.
22:51Yeah.
22:52Okay.
22:53All right.
22:53Well, anyways.
22:55All right.
22:55So that's going to be it for us.
22:57Let's go into the spoilers discussion.
22:59If you don't care about the film or if you've seen the film, you want to discuss it and see
23:04what specific things we're talking about.
23:06Okay.
23:06So.
23:21Hey, guys.
23:22Welcome to the spoilers discussion.
23:24I think, you know, I like the film more because I like more of these characters.
23:29I like Star Fox.
23:31You know, Donkey Kong's not in it.
23:33I thought Seth Rogen was a weird choice for Donkey Kong.
23:37Once you see in one time, you see he's in Brooklyn and they're throwing barrel.
23:42He's throwing barrels at people and like one second.
23:45That's the one.
23:45Yeah.
23:45He's not in it.
23:48Apparently, people were saying what Wario was in the first film.
23:51No, he's not.
23:52I mean, they say when Luigi has his flashback and they're building the castle, you know, there's this blonde kid
23:59that comes over and knocks it.
24:01That's supposed to be Wario.
24:02It's like, yeah, but that could be anybody.
24:04You know, Nintendo could just say it's anybody.
24:06It's conspiracy theories.
24:19It's conspiracy theories.
24:20And she's the mother of the stars, Rosalina.
24:23And she's got the powers of star power, galaxy, cosmic power.
24:30And Bowser Jr., you know, shows up in a big-ass machine.
24:35And then we get our girl boss moment.
24:37It's badass.
24:38It works.
24:39It's fine.
24:39And she protects her little cute.
24:41These fucking stars are so cute.
24:43I just watch these guys all day long.
24:46Unfortunately, because she wants to, you know, they do the tropey thing where she's distracted for a second because one
24:51of her kids comes out.
24:52And then she gets captured.
24:54And then the kids are like, oh, no.
24:56And then we get the title crawl.
24:59And I'm like, okay.
25:00All right.
25:00There we go.
25:01Good setup.
25:02You're building the world out.
25:04So, you know, who is this princess?
25:06She seems somehow linked to Peach with a similar look.
25:09And then we got those cute stars that we saw at the beginning.
25:13And then as it goes along, I think, you know, we get the brothers together.
25:19And the brothers are having fun.
25:20They're driving their fucking motorcycles and shit.
25:22And they're just having a great time.
25:23But I think at a certain point, it was maybe when we got to Yoshi.
25:30And they reveal, hey, you remember how we teased Yoshi last time?
25:34And he's in New York and his egg cracks.
25:36Yeah, we're not doing none of that shit.
25:38He's already part of the gang.
25:40Yeah, and then he, so they spend like five minutes, less than that, two minutes doing this montage of him
25:46just hanging out in New York, which was funny.
25:49But then all of a sudden, he's just, boom, he's a part of the group.
25:52And I just, I don't know.
25:54I was hoping for a little bit more with Yoshi.
25:57Yeah.
25:57And he's just not really there.
25:59Not really sure why.
26:00But he's just like, just because.
26:01Got to put some kind of tension, I guess.
26:03Yeah, just because.
26:04So Toe's like, I don't like you.
26:05Why?
26:06Maybe it was a montage of him fucking with him or something.
26:09That would have been funny.
26:10Something else.
26:10Maybe he's the first one to get eaten by Yoshi and turned into an egg and he's traumatized by that.
26:18So, you know, give him a reason, but there's no reason of any of this.
26:22But yeah, so the, I don't know, what world is this?
26:27The fucking, the Mexican world.
26:32I can say that, okay?
26:34I'm half Mexican, all right?
26:35So, that's what it is.
26:38He shows up and they unclog the thing.
26:41That's where they found Yoshi.
26:42It's like, but what is he doing here?
26:44Because he's supposed to be in New York.
26:45Oh, well, he got scared and the police went after him when he went into a museum.
26:54Guys, we could literally break down this plot and you can get 10 episodes in a fucking TV series.
27:01And each one could be fucking awesome.
27:03You remember the fucking, the Super Mario Brothers Variety Hour, whatever they call it with the two brothers?
27:09That's funny, the live action one, you know, shit, it felt a little bit like that sometimes just because it's
27:18going a fucking mile a minute.
27:22What else?
27:23They rescue Yoshi, they get back to the Mushroom Kingdom and it's Peach's birthday.
27:28Yep.
27:29Mario gives her, he's in love.
27:32There's a subplot.
27:33Yeah, subplot with, hey, you like her?
27:35Yeah.
27:36Where does that go?
27:37It doesn't go anywhere.
27:38It's there.
27:39It's like, so the thing is, she gives him a kiss at the end.
27:41Didn't she do that in the first film?
27:42I don't know.
27:43Yeah.
27:43He gives her her umbrella, but then shooting stars start showing up and then a star crash lands and she's
27:49like, hey, my mom got kidnapped.
27:52You, she said, if anything ever happened to her to come find you.
27:55And thus starts the adventure.
27:57She leaves with Toad.
27:59Just Toad.
28:00Now, so that means that Rosalina has been separated from Peach forever.
28:05She never fucking checks in on her.
28:07She sees it from a distance.
28:08She watches her from a distance.
28:11Because their powers combined is too dangerous and people would seek out that power.
28:16Hand wave, hand wave is what they explain.
28:18Stupid.
28:19All right.
28:20When they touch hands, they have the power of the universe.
28:24Yeah.
28:25And Yoshi and Luigi are immediate best friends and they're making fun of Mario because he's got feelings for Peach
28:34and he doesn't want to admit it.
28:36And, uh, yeah.
28:38And, uh, yeah.
28:38So, Aluma basically asks for Peach's help and the Toads are like, no, uh, don't help.
28:44And they don't listen.
28:47Uh, Peach goes to help immediately.
28:49She asks Toad to go with her.
28:50And, and I think, I guess right here is where things fall apart because it's like, okay, so it's like
28:56we got the mission.
28:57We got the mission.
28:59We set it up all nice.
29:00But then the whole fucking, it's spanned one world, another world for 10 minutes.
29:06Yeah, I hate that.
29:07You have the team, but you gotta split them up.
29:08And it's like there's no fucking plan.
29:10Things just happen to them.
29:12And then they'll trip and they'll do, and then that, the trip turns into a whole storyline.
29:16And then this, and then we, oh, we fell into another world.
29:21This world has a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
29:23And now we're running from the Tyrannosaurus Rex, and then, and then the babies, and then the babies go in
29:28the mouth, and then this, and then, and then, and then, uh, the, the Princess Peach's Castle is captured, uh,
29:34by the fucking spaceship.
29:35And then the spaceship lifts off with the Princess Peach's Castle, but then, uh, they have a fight on the
29:41fucking ship.
29:41And then the fucking, uh, the fucking boss slams into the spaceship, which lets go of the Princess Peach Castle,
29:48which then the Princess Peach Castle just falls throughout the universe.
29:51And then it falls on a random world, and we don't know what this world is, but the, the boys
29:56fall with it, and then the boys are running from the castle, and then the castle is falling.
30:00And then we have an action scene, Prometheus style.
30:02We got, we're running from the castle, and then the castle stops, and the boys are like, whew, everything's fine.
30:06But then the castle continues to fall, and then we, that is, that, that, I mean, that's everything.
30:14It's like, yeah, but are we gonna go to save the princess?
30:18That's it, we're gonna, let's focus on it, just shit is just fucking wild, and it's crazy.
30:23And I guess some people, you know, like that, but, and I like it too, but, uh, not non-stop
30:32for an hour and 30 minutes.
30:34You, you gotta have some semblance.
30:37You, you gotta have some slowdown moments.
30:40You have to have some focus, and it's not focused.
30:43It's, uh, your ADD has ADD, and somebody gave you the magic pencil, and you're just writing the whole plot
30:49as it goes along.
30:53Yeah.
30:53Pretty much.
30:54Yeah, and then they meet up at this, um...
30:58International.
30:59Yeah, this galaxy, this galaxy where there's even more, I mean, it's non-stop, because this is the place where
31:03all of the universe is combined, and all the galaxies.
31:06And so, they're like, hey, you remember that from the 80s?
31:08It's like, no one, I mean, you have to be over 40 years old to know what the fuck that
31:11is.
31:11It's like, you remember that, and that, and that, and that, and that, and that, and that, and then they,
31:15Mario ends up finally meeting up with Peach, uh, they need a pilot.
31:19And so, Star Fox is the only one who will take them to the dangerous place, uh, and then they
31:24go on their adventure, and Star Fox, kind of a badass.
31:27Like, we gotta get the, the, the scene, I think it was Jupiter, or the asteroid belt level in Star
31:33Fox 64.
31:34I like that.
31:34And he was able to, you know, he blows up their, um, their, their big spaceship pretty easily, but then
31:41Bowser Jr. pulls out his secret weapon, the gun that turns them into babies.
31:46Babies.
31:47Babies.
31:47And it's the babies that thwart Star Fox's ship, that's where they crash land, that's where they have the, the
31:54Tyrannosaurus thing, and we're just, I mean.
31:56Here is where you needed to have, well, they had, they had the jokes with the babies, but here is
32:02where they're supposed to be their lowest, this is where you need time to breathe.
32:06Oh, a three-act structure to go with, with the conflict, and.
32:09Exactly, or something.
32:11But no, it's like, no, we just have these babies, he's like, oh, well, Toad, take care of them.
32:14And he finds himself in some shenanigans, the Mario brothers are climbing on top of a T-Rex, and then
32:22he's playing the Mario theme song on his fucking teeth.
32:27Do you remember the.
32:28You can't wake him up.
32:29The Animaniacs cartoon where the dog is constantly chasing the baby?
32:32Every one of those episodes is funnier than everything that happened in this with Toad trying to chase the babies.
32:37It's member bears, the, the, the thing that turns them into babies is the fucking gun, the light gun, which
32:43I had, and I fucking loved.
32:44I also had Rob, I couldn't believe it, I wish I would have held on to Rob, I think I
32:48gave it to a Once Upon a Child store a long time ago, and resold, because those things sell for,
32:54for higher now.
32:55But the thing is, they, they take from better movies, you know what movie they took from when they did
33:00the Rob part?
33:02It's fucking Zootopia, the sloth guy, because what is the thing with Rob, Rob goes, over here, you know, it's
33:13like, but that's exactly the joke.
33:15This is a robot.
33:17It's different than a sloth.
33:19Oh, okay.
33:20It's different.
33:20And they don't do it but once, they do it twice, but then they do it three times, and then
33:25later on, somebody else is asking where the princess went, and then he does it again.
33:31So super funny.
33:32Oh, super scope.
33:33That's what I was thinking.
33:35Anyways.
33:35Anyways, we're flying through the galaxy, and at one point, hold on, it's hard to keep all this shit straight.
33:49At one point, they're like, oh my god, there it is, as they're flying through the galaxy, and it's the
33:55gateway galaxy.
33:55I'm like, what?
33:57Did they mean to go there?
33:59Did they intend to go there?
34:00I don't know where they're going.
34:02Do you know what I'm saying?
34:03Yes.
34:03Are they flying through?
34:04What happened?
34:06When Peach went?
34:07Yes.
34:08Yeah, so when the star went, he's like, hey, they were captured and sent beyond the gateway galaxy.
34:13So that's the only, that's the anchor point.
34:15That's the only thing that she knows.
34:17Okay, Rob said to go to the gateway galaxy, right?
34:21Because they're like, there it is.
34:23He's pointing them to pilots.
34:25Yeah, pilots.
34:26Okay.
34:27Well, anyways, Bowser is reunited with his son, and you can tell that Bowser does care about his son.
34:35They do some flashbacks where he was basically raising his son with this story of galactic domination and killing other
34:43civilizations and having a big fucking gun and having planet Bowser because everybody made fun of them.
35:17And they, you know, they felt like shit.
35:19Because he's sort of reformed.
35:22He's been through therapy when he's hanging out with, I guess, the boys, and he kind of likes, he likes
35:27Luigi, kind of likes Mario.
35:30He kind of has a grudge against him, but thinks they're all right guys.
35:34And I thought this was going to be cool.
35:35I thought he was going to be able to reform his son, and they were going to bond over that
35:41and bond over, like, you know, just being cool.
35:43And, you know, there are other villains in the Super Mario world that you can bring that Bowser could fight
35:50with them.
35:51He could be the Vegeta of the universe.
35:54But, no.
35:55They decide that he's like, ah, yeah.
35:58Yeah, fuck him.
35:58They fuck him.
35:59Let's beat him up.
36:01Wait, what?
36:02But they brainwashed your father.
36:05And he gives this weak speech.
36:07And I didn't think he bought it.
36:08You know, I thought, oh, that's a temporary band-aid.
36:10He's going to follow him for a little bit.
36:12And then later on, he's going to notice that we are literally torturing and killing a woman to power a
36:19beam that will destroy galaxies.
36:22And, you know, he shows emotion throughout the whole film.
36:26And then all of a sudden, it's gone.
36:28And it doesn't make any sense.
36:29It's not a cool turn.
36:31It would be too complex, Joe.
36:32It would have to be simple.
36:33Yeah, because I was hoping for a team-up with Bowser, and they're going to try to stop it.
36:38That would have been awesome.
36:39Super Mario RPG.
36:39Yeah, I think that would have been better.
36:42And instead, no.
36:43We get the worst version of Bowser.
36:46He just goes back to his normal ways.
36:48He turns into a minion for his son.
36:51Has a fight at the end.
36:53Falls in lava.
36:54Doesn't even have the fucking, you know, respect to do the Terminator thing.
37:00Because they've referenced everything already.
37:04So he falls in the lava and dies.
37:06But then he comes up as bones.
37:08Oh, yeah.
37:09Oh, yeah.
37:09You know, it's like, oh, I've seen that before.
37:11And then, you know, his son's like, yeah.
37:13And then they fight.
37:15And I guess we do get a small turn here where the son is using his powerful paintbrush.
37:21Which is never explained.
37:22Unless you play the games, you don't know what the fuck is going on.
37:25Are we going to talk about this?
37:27Are we going to take it away from him?
37:28Or whatever.
37:29But he creates a fucking dragon.
37:31At first, I'm like, okay, are we doing Spyro now?
37:33Are they making a wreck?
37:34Because we're referencing everything.
37:36Oh, yeah.
37:36The Super Mario for a time had to go up against Spyro.
37:39And he's getting his ass kicked.
37:41Because Spyro is selling a lot of money.
37:42I don't know.
37:43No.
37:43It's just a purple dragon.
37:45It looks similar.
37:46But instead of attacking the Mario brothers and Yoshi, he attacks Browser Jr.
37:54And so they have to, you know, team up a little bit.
37:59And Mario just grabs the most powerful power-up that was in his pocket.
38:04It's supposed to be random, though.
38:05Okay.
38:06Well, then he randomly grabs it.
38:07The most powerful one.
38:08And then he explodes to the dragon and saves him.
38:10And then you think there would be some, like, heartfelt thing.
38:12Thank you for saving my son.
38:14Yeah.
38:14You know, I'm sorry.
38:15Nothing.
38:15Absolutely nothing.
38:17All of these moments are teed up.
38:19And they could have done any one of them.
38:21And then they decided to do none of them.
38:22They choose the lowest common denominator where it's like, oh, now they're a son, father-son
38:27criminal duo.
38:28And they're in prison.
38:30Like, you know, like an old school bumbling Lex Luthor and Lenny.
38:34And they're like, oh, these prison can't hold us.
38:38Yeah.
38:38It's in an advocate.
38:39Meh.
38:40Credits.
38:42Great.
38:43That sucks.
38:45The sisters get reunited because it turns out that they're sisters.
38:50And you think that there would be, it'd be cool.
38:52And they'd be like, oh, I missed you so much.
38:54I've always been watching you.
38:55But I know it's two days.
38:56No, none of that.
38:59None of this stuff comes together in a cool way.
39:03How did the Lumas get over into the final battle?
39:07Luigi accidentally turned on a radio.
39:11Like, that's it.
39:13And then just because the accident, they get the radio signal, then they come.
39:18One of the Lumas is like, Luigi?
39:20And then, and then.
39:25So then the observatory comes over.
39:27And then everybody's excited and happy.
39:29And then Peach goes into this room where she discovers her origins.
39:32And she had just forgot.
39:35She's a baby.
39:37She's a baby.
39:39And, yeah.
39:40And so then they.
39:42They go home.
39:43And then we have this one good moment.
39:46They like.
39:46What do I have?
39:47They go back home.
39:48They just.
39:49Oh, yeah.
39:50So you're saying after they win?
39:52After they win.
39:52Yeah.
39:52After they win and the defeat of bad guys and everything blows up.
39:56Yeah.
39:56And they go home.
39:56They go back home.
39:57They're like, yeah, let's go to the castle.
39:59They're sitting there.
39:59And previously, the castle was like lifted.
40:02So just a big crater.
40:04And thrown in the Honeybean Kingdom.
40:05What happened?
40:07Okay.
40:08Luigi's just like.
40:09It died.
40:11The castle died.
40:12Oh, yeah.
40:12The castle died.
40:14And it was a line delivery.
40:16It made me and Joe laugh.
40:17This is so stupid.
40:18And I went over to Joe's like, one.
40:19They got one.
40:20I gave it that.
40:21But what's at the end of the film?
40:23Where it just randomly goes.
40:25It was random.
40:26The castle died.
40:27The castle died.
40:29The castle died.
40:29It was alive.
40:30So then they randomly make a Newcastle.
40:33Man, do you see how I go from a curmudgeon old man to laughing our butts off and smiling
40:40at one joke?
40:41If you had put all these other jokes in it, then maybe we would be on board for all this
40:46fucking nonsense.
40:48We wanted more jokes.
40:49We wanted more emotional weight, which is what we fucking said throughout the whole review,
40:53which nobody's going to agree with.
40:54Anyways.
40:55Same thing you said with the first one.
40:58Or maybe they're like, what are y'all talking about?
41:01There are really funny jokes and really emotional beats.
41:06What part?
41:07Are you a medication that makes you feel deeply more than normal, heightened?
41:14I want some, please.
41:16I wish I could.
41:17Commercials make me crack.
41:19Yeah.
41:20Commercials make you clap.
41:22Commercials make me crack up and laugh and clap.
41:25And yeah, clap.
41:26All right.
41:26But anyways, enough.
41:28We're sorry.
41:28We're not attacking you.
41:32They, I mean, we are, I mean, Alex, excuse me.
41:36No, my expectations were lower.
41:38Well, lower it anyway, but holy shit, I expect it to be this low.
41:41I actually think that people are going to come around a little bit more and be like,
41:44hey, you got to, I expected more.
41:46Kind of like, we'll see.
41:47The Joker.
41:47The second one for sure.
41:48The Joker.
41:49And it's just like, hey, you didn't have two movies to steal from this time.
41:52What happened?
41:53And it's like, oh, yeah.
41:54So, you know, the final battle, it's Yoshi, Mario, and Luigi.
41:59And Mario gets what outfit?
42:02He gets the drill.
42:04And Yoshi gets what outfit?
42:05Or Luigi gets what outfit?
42:06The clouds.
42:07Those are cool.
42:09Yoshi just turns blue and he just.
42:11Is this in the game?
42:12I don't know of this particular one.
42:14Honestly, at this point, I don't know.
42:15I haven't played.
42:15So, he turns blue and he's just floating.
42:17He's just a big old.
42:19Balloon.
42:19Then.
42:20But when he pops, he goes all over the place.
42:22And so then, at the end of the battle, boom, bumps against the boss and then deflates and slams into
42:29the thing, right?
42:30And then, yes.
42:31And then he goes back to his normal thing.
42:33We all know his normal form, yeah.
42:35Yes.
42:37Except for the red star, which turns him into the most.
42:41I personally like this form because he's red and black.
42:45And he's super saiyan.
42:46And I'm like, oh, is this.
42:48Is this.
42:49It's the Mario Galaxy's version of Supersonic.
42:54You know how they're always doing that in that world.
42:57So, Nintendo sees that and like, oh, fuck.
42:59We got to power up Mario if these two ever fight.
43:03So, here's his version.
43:04So, he powers up and he wins.
43:08Everything is done very quickly.
43:10Now, using, while they're fighting, Peach is trying to break open this bubble that's containing her sister, Rosalina.
43:22And she can't do it.
43:24But she realizes, oh, we just touch hands and that creates power.
43:27So, she gets her sister to touch hands with her.
43:30She touches hands and it cracks the glass and it blows everything up.
43:33And they are saved and rescued.
43:36And then Fox sends them all to prison.
43:39And then everybody's like, all right, cool.
43:40See you later, dudes.
43:41And he's like, he's gone.
43:44In an instant.
43:45I guess he's finding his way back to his universe.
43:47They said they fixed my warp drive.
43:49So, I'm going home.
43:50Okay.
43:51So, what happens when you have your mechanics?
43:53So, they are in the same universe.
43:54They're not in a different universe.
43:56They're in the Alpha Quadrant.
43:57He's in the Delta Quadrant.
43:58They're in the Alpha Quadrant.
43:59Right?
44:00Because you just have to warp drive over there.
44:02He said different universe in the beginning.
44:05But who knows?
44:06They don't actually give a shit.
44:07So, then after that, the two stingers were the prison scene where the star kid, this is one of the
44:13chicks.
44:14It's a blue star.
44:15She is the biggest villain of all the films.
44:18And she is just off kilter.
44:21And she says some sinister James Bond villain stuff.
44:27And it scares the hell out of Bowser and Bowser Jr.
44:30And then the final scene is a tease at Daisy.
44:36Because I think Daisy is the final princess that we haven't seen.
44:39And if you can bring her in, then you have all the princesses.
44:42And I don't really remember Daisy.
44:45I stopped playing the games by then.
44:47But I think Daisy, like maybe Super Mario, Land 2, I don't know, one of them in the 90s.
44:54And she's a princess of a completely different kingdom.
44:59I wonder if she's the princess.
45:00Is she the princess of the sand?
45:02Sand was sand.
45:03Well, in this, she's the princess of the galaxy, the bus station they went to.
45:10Remember when the monkey stole from them?
45:11Because she's that princess, right?
45:13You think she's the princess of that area?
45:15I don't know.
45:16I mean, everyone knows who the guy calls her princess.
45:18So, maybe she's just famous.
45:21So, then she punches out this monkey.
45:23This monkey has been taking shit.
45:25Stealing stuff, yeah.
45:25Stealing stuff.
45:26What, you looking her up?
45:27Yeah.
45:27What's her thing?
45:29Prince of Daisy.
45:30Sarah Sand, Land.
45:31Sarah Sand.
45:32I know it had something to do with it.
45:33Super Mario Land.
45:341989.
45:351989, not 90s.
45:36Okay, I was wrong.
45:38He's also in the movie with Bob.
45:41Bob Hoskins?
45:41Yeah.
45:42And look, what was I'm about?
45:43Daisy was in that?
45:43Yeah.
45:44I don't remember.
45:44I could have sworn.
45:45Or is it just in name only or something?
45:49I don't remember.
45:50I'd rather watch that movie again than this movie.
45:52Yeah, you said that about the first time.
45:54I stand by it both times.
45:55Stand by it.
45:55I stand by it.
45:57Okay.
45:57But if we were to, if I have to watch this shit a third time, then you got to bring
46:03in
46:03Wario.
46:04You got to bring in my favorite, Waluigi.
46:06And make it funny.
46:07And make it funny.
46:08And then y'all totally, like, you got to bring the minion writers over.
46:11Who writes the fucking minions?
46:13Because this shit is hilarious.
46:14Yeah, get silly with it and then we can.
46:16And yeah, Princess Daisy.
46:18Oh, she was Princess Daisy.
46:19Yeah.
46:21So, okay.
46:23Was Princess Peach in the live action one?
46:25No.
46:25I think it was just Princess Daisy.
46:27Oh, they used Daisy.
46:28That's why.
46:29Okay.
46:32Minions and Monsters is coming out July 1st.
46:37Yeah.
46:38Which is why Alex says, oh, fuck.
46:42Yeah, it's like right after.
46:43It's going to cut the fucking legs out of Supergirl.
46:46Like only four days or something like that?
46:47Oh, my God.
46:48It's an even worse situation for Superman because Superman has had its momentum cut by Jurassic
46:55Park first and then undercut by Fantastic Four.
46:59But that was like a week later or was it two weeks later?
47:01I don't know.
47:04Maybe a week.
47:05We're fucked.
47:05But TCU is fucked.
47:08Okay.
47:09Monsters.
47:10Minions and Monsters was.
47:12It's written by Brian Lynch and Pierre Coffin.
47:18And directed by Pierre Coffin.
47:21Give it to that guy, man.
47:23Give the next Super Mario feel.
47:25I know they think, well, we made $1.4 billion with these two directors and this writer.
47:30They brought them back.
47:31I mean, that's the right thing to do is to bring the team back.
47:34It's going to be successful.
47:35I think this movie is going to make a serious amount of money.
47:37I'm not saying like it.
47:38Your kids will love it and it'll be successful.
47:40Yes, we say that.
47:41But the answer is.
47:42And what you ask me as far as like the rating is.
47:44How do you make it better?
47:45In a vacuum.
47:46Story.
47:46Do you think that this is a good movie?
47:47And I was like, no, I don't think this is a good movie.
47:49No, unfortunately not.
47:50Yeah.
47:50So how do you make it better?
47:51You have to make me care about the characters more.
47:54You put them in situations where I'm worried for them or I really want them to get back together
47:58because they were separated or we learn something emotionally.
48:02Or you just make me laugh the entire way through because there's silliness and like funny stuff.
48:06The bond with Yoshi.
48:08Not pushed.
48:09Not strong enough.
48:10Not expanded on.
48:11The love story between Luigi and Princess.
48:15Not explored.
48:17Not pushed.
48:17Not done enough.
48:19You know, the brotherly love thing, which was in the first film, which we liked.
48:23When it was there.
48:24Less here.
48:25It's even less here.
48:26Because granted, they're together more of the time.
48:33There's actually, sometimes this film is better.
48:36And I do like it better than the first one.
48:38But sometimes it's worse.
48:40All right.
48:41I think I have.
48:45I think we've covered pretty much everything.
48:47We got the stingers.
48:49We got all that.
48:52What else?
48:54What else could we bring to this?
48:56You know, because Star Fox was in it, it gives me hope that we will see a standalone Star Fox
49:03film,
49:03which I think after watching this, I think it could work.
49:07And since it will be a completely different writing and directing team more than likely,
49:11it'll probably focus on them.
49:13And I would be excited for that.
49:16And Illumination and Nintendo should be excited for that.
49:20Is it going to make as much money as Mario?
49:22No.
49:23I don't think Star Fox is as popular as Mario, but it would still be fun to see a spinoff
49:28there.
49:29Now we'll get, in three, we'll get, what, Samus?
49:35Oh, shit.
49:36I was thinking, what else could we do?
49:37So, yeah.
49:38In three, they'll throw in a cameo for Metroid.
49:42Falcon Punch.
49:43Hell yeah.
49:44What else could they do?
49:45Falcon Punch.
49:46Dr. Mario.
49:47Pikachu.
49:48Oh, Dr. Mario.
49:50Combine the real big characters.
49:51No, no, no.
49:52Then you do an Avengers film once you get all that shit together.
49:56Yeah, you fight the hand, man.
49:59What's that box name?
50:00Was it Mac?
50:02What's his story?
50:03There's one villain that I think comes along with Daisy,
50:07so I forget what his name is.
50:08It's like Kantanga.
50:11Katanga.
50:13Katanga.
50:14I don't know.
50:14Put it in the comments.
50:16You know, it's not obviously a well-known, more popular villain,
50:20but they could definitely do that.
50:21Because I don't think that Bowser Jr. and Bowser will be the villain of the third film.
50:27You can't.
50:28So you have to go with what people want.
50:31And people want Wario.
50:32They want Waluigi.
50:33That better be there.
50:34But they don't set that up here.
50:36They only tease, here's the third princess.
50:38So if anything, if they keep with that, it's the third princess and Katanga, or whatever that villain was.
50:46They're unstoppable, though.
50:47They could just be like...
50:48But because they just threw that out the window.
50:51Yoshi in New York and Brooklyn, you know, they could just throw this and then say, yeah, yeah.
50:55Well, now she's a part of the crew.
50:57And then the three of them go up against Waluigi.
51:01Some more side quests.
51:02Yeah.
51:03Side quests the movie.
51:04That's what it has been.
51:05Side quests the movie.
51:06We need a little bit more main quests and a little less side quests.
51:11Though here they say the side quests are the main quests.
51:14And I'm like, yeah, but they don't feel like main quests.
51:16Nope.
51:17All right.
51:17Anyways, that's it for us.
51:19Let us know what you thought.
51:21Are you going to see the Mario movie?
51:23Do you agree with what we're saying?
51:24Or are you like, no, you guys are crazy.
51:25This is one of the most funniest films I've ever seen.
51:27We're filled with the greatest emotion.
51:28And I cried, I laughed, and I will buy the DVD.
51:34Or the DVD.
51:35Don't want to buy DVDs anymore.
51:37I will purchase it on Amazon.
51:38On Amazon.
51:39Let us know.
51:40And have it on my TV.
51:41In the comments down below.
51:43Do you agree that the first Super Mario film was a 95?
51:49Or do you think it was closer to, you know, 5'6"?
51:52Let us know in the comments down below.
51:53Thank you so much for watching.
51:54And we'll see you on the next Angry Joe Show.
51:57Bye, guys.
52:07Bye.
52:28Bye.
52:29Bye.
52:32Gracias por ver el video.
