00:00All right, so you said third at the Corn Fairy Tour Championship, and that got your card, basically?
00:05Yeah, so I think it was three Corn Fairy Tour Finals that year.
00:10The first two played okay, but nothing special.
00:13And then that week, it was Atlantic Beach.
00:17All right, so that last event, you finished third.
00:19Was that Atlantic?
00:20That was Atlantic Beach?
00:21Atlantic Beach, yeah.
00:22Finished third at the last one and ended up sneaking in.
00:25I don't know if I finished 21st or 22nd on the finals money list.
00:29And yeah, that was another special.
00:32It was a nice month of golf for me there.
00:34That kind of completely changed my trajectory of my golf career.
00:38Yeah, put it in a little perspective here.
00:40So that Sunday, heading, or just that week, it looked like you were playing incredible golf at Atlantic Beach that
00:47week.
00:48But still, what were the emotions like trying to fulfill a dream on Sunday and not screw up, basically?
00:57It was brutal.
00:57It wasn't just awful.
00:59Yeah.
00:59I mean, I think I was well clear.
01:01I was like way in.
01:04And almost maybe had a chance to, I think Denny McCarthy might have been winning that week and had a
01:09chance to kind of catch up to him.
01:13And I just remember all of a sudden, I just couldn't, I couldn't feel my arms.
01:17I couldn't feel my legs.
01:18All I could look at was like basically that number of like projected points.
01:23Every time it just stared you right in the face.
01:25And I think on 16, I made a complete mess of it.
01:29Pretty sure it was 16th hole, maybe 17.
01:31But I made a triple bogey and ended up having a par 18 to get my card.
01:37And that one footer never, never, one footers never looked as long as that one.
01:43I think, was it Cam was talking about he couldn't get it lined up at the players?
01:47Yeah.
01:47That's how I felt.
01:48Same deal?
01:49One footer.
01:50I mean, the easiest spot in the world is to tap in.
01:52And I just stood over it for a little while just trying to figure out how to pull the trigger.
01:57I mean, it's unbelievable, man, this game.
01:59But like once you get over the hump and you get to the PGA Tour and you get to experience
02:05it.
02:05And I would call your first three years almost just, I mean, of course, I'm sure you learned a lot
02:12along the way those three years.
02:14But just looking at your results, it felt like years that you didn't necessarily do anything great.
02:21But you didn't do anything necessarily bad either.
