00:01For this video, I'm going to be driving down to Branson, Missouri, so I can take you for a full
00:04tour of the Celebrity Car Museum.
00:58For this video, I'm going to be driving down to Branson.
01:04I love vacationing in Branson.
01:06It's one of my favorite places to visit.
01:08You know, every time I'm driving down through Interstate 44, I just get all fired up because you know you're
01:14going to be in for an amazing time.
01:16I'm a huge car nut.
01:17You can probably tell by the channel from all the car-centric content that I've posted.
01:21I've pretty much visited every car museum in the United States at this point, and I've been going back and
01:27filming them one at a time.
01:29So it was inevitable that I was going to visit the Celebrity Car Museum here in Branson, and it really
01:34is a remarkable attraction.
01:36They have an amazing collection of authentic screen-used cars and trucks from your favorite TV shows and movies.
01:43I realize this museum in Branson isn't as large as, like, Deezerland and Volo, but Deezerland is kind of a
01:50mixed bag.
01:50They've got some clone cars that aren't authentic.
01:53For example, the one that really bothers me is their Christine.
01:56For those familiar with that horror film, Christine's a 1958 Plymouth Fury, and at Deezerland, I believe it's a 1959
02:04or 1960, masquerading as Christine.
02:07And, you know, the rear end on those later Plymouths is all wrong.
02:11They don't have the same tail fins and everything, and it just looks funky.
02:15I mean, Deezerland does have a lot of authentic cars.
02:18For example, they do have a screen-used Trans Am from Knight Rider.
02:21I believe they actually have two.
02:23I think they have the convertible and one of the hardtops.
02:26They also have a screen-used A-Team van as well, so I'm not here to badmouth Deezerland.
02:31They have a lot of great stuff.
02:33This Branson Museum, I didn't see any pretenders here.
02:35These were all legitimate screen-used cars, unlike some of the other museums around.
02:40There were a couple disappointments, though.
02:43I remember reading in one of the brochures that they had a screen-used car from Knight Rider,
02:47and they did, but it was from the new show, like, circa 2008-2009.
02:53It was one of the Ford Mustangs that was used, and, you know, I'm more of a fan of the
02:59original show.
03:00I would have much preferred to see one of the Pontiac Trans Am, so I was a little disappointed with
03:04that.
03:05But, you know, they had some of the Tauruses from, like, RoboCop 3 and quite a few Transformers cars,
03:12like Bumblebee and Barricade.
03:14They had a General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard movie that was screen-used.
03:18There was also a lot of screen-used cars from the various Fast and Furious movies.
03:24So if you're a big Fast and Furious fan, you're going to see a lot of stuff that you like
03:27here at Branson.
03:28So ticket prices are kind of all over the place, depending on your demographic.
03:32Regular adults are $24.95, military and seniors run $19.95,
03:37teenagers 13-17 run $17.95,
03:40children 5-12 run $15.95,
03:44and children under 5 are free.
03:46So that's pretty complicated.
03:48So is this an all-day attraction?
03:50No, I don't think so.
03:52I mean, I'm a huge car nut, so I spent about 3 hours,
03:57but I was also filming, so that usually takes extra time.
04:00I'd say for the general public, this museum is probably about an hour to a 90-minute attraction for most
04:06people.
04:07But that's pretty typical for most car museums.
04:10I mean, unless you're really a die-hard fan that's just into a certain type of car,
04:16I think most car museums are about, you know, a 1-2 hour experience.
04:20So would I recommend this attraction?
04:23Absolutely.
04:24It's definitely wonderful at what it is.
04:26If you are a serious car nut and love the screen-used cars from TVs and movies,
04:33this is one of the best museums out there for that.
04:36Volo does that.
04:37There's a great one in Vegas.
04:39There's a couple nice museums in Tennessee that do that, too.
04:43Even Diesel Land really doesn't.
04:45I mean, Diesel Land has a bunch of film and TV cars, but it's only about 25% of their
04:51collection.
04:52They have a lot of other classic cars and British cars,
04:56and they have a bunch of different sections of their museum focused on different things.
05:02They even have a section that is just exclusively James Bond cars.
05:06And, you know, if you're looking for seeing, like, all the screen-used vehicles and props from James Bond,
05:13then you've got to go to their James Bond Lounge in Orlando because that place is amazing.
05:18I would say the Celebrity Car Museum here in Branson is great for, like, a rebound day.
05:23Say you're kind of tired and exhausted from walking around, like, Silver Dollar City the previous day.
05:29This is a nice, small attraction that you can cover in an hour or two and, you know, take it
05:34easy resting after your long day at the theme park.
05:38One last thing that I'll mention about this attraction is you want to check Groupon as well as those little
05:44maps they hand out at all the Branson Motels.
05:47They do have coupons for this attraction all the time, and it's usually for, like, $2 or $3 off general
05:52admission.
05:53So, it's not a lot, but it definitely will be worth your time to check before you go because, you
05:59know, who doesn't mind getting a couple bucks off?
06:01Well, that pretty much wraps up all my thoughts on the Celebrity Car Museum.
