00:00A woman has been jailed for breaching an order intended to protect vulnerable people from modern slavery in Birmingham.
00:07West Midlands Police say Lan Lan Gyo, aged 35, admitted breaking a slavery and trafficking risk or prevention order
00:15after officers stopped and searched her in the Southside district of the city on the 23rd of March.
00:21Police said they found a bank card in someone else's name, which she was banned from having under the order.
00:28Gyo of Essex Street was sentenced to 40 weeks at Birmingham Magistrates Court last Thursday.
00:35Officers say the order followed an earlier investigation into suspected modern slavery in that part of Birmingham City Centre.
