00:47Where we take you behind the scenes of every single tribal council.
00:51And we have one of the biggest players on the season here.
00:54I'm excited to introduce a member of the 100 Day Club.

01:27And I think as you come back as like a returning player,
01:30you know what it means to actually get in and get involved.
01:34And get your hands right in the mix of things.
01:36And yeah, it all fell into place for me.
01:39So it was fun.
01:40Well let's talk about that tribal council where you went home.

01:45I think everyone said we're willing to go to rocks tonight.

02:08I did, like initially, like I thought there was a very strong possibility.

02:32pulling a second rock when I, you know, legally as per the rules, couldn't.

02:38Can you explain your thought process around the two rock thing?
02:41Jackson doesn't have to go to rocks.
02:43Simon made it clear whoever jumps ship, he will take two.

02:49So, like I wanted to prove...
02:51Like I had burnt trust with a lot of people and...
02:54But for the people I was working with, I wanted to show that I was,
02:57you know, still loyal and going to be a man of my word when it came down to the people
03:01I was working with.
03:01Be a man of his word by telling a big lie.
03:05By telling a big lie and showing that I'm going to do something and trying to follow through with it.
03:10And, like, I was lucky that I never got caught out at that point in time.
03:14I was going to, you know, do it for or appear to do it for Jackson to prove that, like,
03:19I will be there for the players that are around me.
03:22Bit of like a scare tactic there.
03:23And also, I thought that the votes wouldn't be coming my way, that I would be exposed for the rock
03:29draw.
03:29So, when my name came out, that's when I was like, okay, it's not going on Keely and I'm not
03:35the...
03:35Someone's looking to actually have a shot at me here.
03:38The deadlock thing, the deadlock, like that was obviously great.
03:41I would have expected someone to maybe make the move.
03:44Like, if someone wanted to actually really stamp their ground on the game to make a move in the first
03:50vote,
03:50as opposed to waiting to the re-vote, and then for it to be Brooke was like,
03:55it's so awesome to like have her signature against my name, as opposed to one of like the riffraff or
03:59something like that.
04:00You know, it's like...
04:01You don't want that riffraff.
04:02No, not them.
04:03She's the one who's taken the opportunity there.
04:05She gets the move and she gets the credit in my eyes for, you know, moving on me at a
04:09very difficult time.
04:10And, you know, I either hope, like at this point in time, that Brooke can go the distance
04:15and I have helped her progress at the right time to there to, you know, get herself into a position
04:21to have a crack at the title.
04:22Or, you know, she comes into the fold, joins me on the jury and there's a, you know, big fat,
04:28I told you so.
04:29But, you know, I was motivated to move on her at seven anyway.
04:31So, you know.
04:32I think that was just the most incredible idea to kind of pretend that you are going to put your
04:38game on the line,
04:39bring in someone, make a huge move and then take a rock for them to prove your loyalty.
04:46That is literally iconic.
04:47Like, I love that so much.
04:49Do you think you would have been able to bring in Jackson without that little white lie about that little
04:54white rock?
04:57Thank you, iconic queen.

05:01Yeah, I think, look, it was a deal sweetener, essentially.
05:05Like, I needed him there.
05:07Jackson needed a move.
05:08And, you know, I worked on Jackson for 72 hours to help him identify that, you know, he needed something.
05:13Ben was in his blind spot.
05:15I pitched to him during the day.
05:16I pitched to him at the tribal council with my new WWE spiel about when the talent scouts from WWE
05:23come to town.
05:24Are you going to take the shot?
05:41he turned around he said no and then 30 seconds before David said let's go to vote he took the
05:47shot and it was a it was incredible so but I think to have like like a lot leading up
05:52to it but then
05:52with the extra incentives of I will take your rock and you will get my vote at the end like
05:58I'm just
05:59looking for anything to like just help sweeten a really tough position that I'm in and when you
06:03don't have you know a lot of deep connections when people want you out of the game you just have
06:08to
06:08get inventive and like that's where I do my best work on the bottom like I played for most of
06:12heroes
06:12versus villains on the bottom and you know my best move was throwing out the beans and rice what was
06:17it a severe case of severe bottomness but it really does just go to prove how hard you've
06:23worked because you're like okay what can I do to bring someone on and then you're kind of like
06:27getting inventive and doing something that's never been done before next season after this everyone's
06:32going to be like oh take your rock yeah yeah yeah well to just and just to clarify you cannot
06:39pull
06:40another player's rock we know yeah we know and like the big thing for me like I didn't leave my
06:48wife and daughter at home for a third time to come out here and to not you know leave any
06:53stone unturned
06:54like I came here to try absolutely everything and I can walk away proud that you know no if I
06:59didn't win
06:59that I absolutely gave it everything and like you know that's kind of the part of the legacy that I'll
07:04leave so I'm really proud of that speaking of your beautiful wife and daughter you got a
07:10video at the reward can you tell us a little bit about that I myself have gotten a video of
07:14my
07:15baby daughter before one of the highlights of my survivor career tell us how that felt because
07:19she's very little and you left to go play yeah she's very little my little mermaid will be turning
07:24to next month hello daddy oh she's so cute and she's a little bundle of energy apparently the apple
07:42doesn't fall far from the tree um and she's there just like mom I'm doing a beauty challenge
07:49yeah she's already winning necklaces at daycare um it's it was really tough to you know to see it and
07:55I almost was in a mindset of like I don't want anything from home right now like I know why
08:01I'm
08:01out here I know what I need to do like I have the motivation and the fire in my belly
08:06and I don't
08:07want to pull my head out of the game right now but when I had that moment it definitely just
08:12hit hard
08:12and you know fanned the flames we love you she's grown up so much and just went just keep on
08:21going
08:21like if you think you've flipped over enough rocks flip them over again you know like it's always goes
08:26back to rocks yeah you know what it's not to be talking about something that's not idols mate so
08:33but um going back to that reward challenge obviously you didn't pick loz loz is also a
08:39mother do you think if you had picked loz that could have impacted who they voted for the night
08:45that you went home yeah potentially like I have thought about that and it was a huge um a huge
08:51decision to not take loz uh given you know loz is like her relationship with her girls is is so
08:58tight
08:59and she really really really wanted to speak to them at that point in time I wonder if it would
09:05be family but it must be I think so I just couldn't even have the hope because it'd be too
09:11far to fall
09:12if I actually thought about seeing my kids yeah yeah yeah but I felt like loz and my relationship was
09:19probably we were just on different wavelengths like she was playing a very you know emotional game
09:24that on a different level to where I was and the amount of times I'd kind of tried and knocked
09:29on
09:29the door I felt like it was just not quite getting across and like it might have been enough to
09:34do it
09:34but I was willing to double down on Jackson who had already like thrown a lifeline as opposed to
09:41spot like spoken about the thought of maybe next vote coming to work with me it makes sense so like
09:46yeah
09:46then I also wonder if because loz is an emotional player maybe you could have been like loz I gave
09:52you the
09:53opportunity to look at your girls you owe me yeah I really think that loz would have been one of
10:00those people oh yeah so the answer your question yes I think she could have been I think that could
10:05have been enough to you know to seal reseal and repatch my relationship with with loz there you had
10:12already like put so much effort and trust into Jackson so why not give a dog a bone yeah exactly

10:18yeah and I had put so much like the whole time like I was out there with laws like you
10:23know I
10:23took her under my wing I protected her for so long people would talk over her quite a lot and
10:28always
10:28made sure as you know one of the larger males in the group to like make a point of asking
10:32hey loz
10:33like what's your opinion on this so she has a time to you know voice her opinions and stuff because
10:38she
10:38struggled to find that space and I wanted to open that up for her to you know to bring her
10:43in
10:43um and it was tough when I was you know bringing her up to date with plans and I had
10:47to give her
10:49the inception of any plans 48 hours in advance so she could actually process them and think about
10:54them 48 hours she's like sorry it's been 47 I can't comprehend once we hit merge and the speed
11:00of the game like really came up I'm like I'm I'm going to struggle to be able to give her
11:04that much
11:05notice to be able to keep working with me like we're gonna have to be a little bit more dynamic
11:08and
11:08like she had a lot of times of like I you know I want to I want to talk to
11:12you but I need to speak
11:13to everyone else first and when she never was coming back to me it's like oh I this is now
11:18becoming
11:19a resource suck on my end and I need to balance where I'm putting my energy right now let's talk
11:25about idols so idols have been a big part of your survivor journey in your two previous seasons or the
11:32shadow of idols that piece of coral with mark can you give a little bit of insight into that yeah
11:37just
11:37like that was obviously a bit of a critical uh a critical pinch point on day one being a returning
11:42player knew I was gonna be up against it I need to have as many tricks up my sleeve as
11:45I you know as
11:46I could um I had a fake idol up my sleeve for heroes versus villains and never had to pull
11:51it out
11:51so I just ran the same play and had it there from day one when they they threw me the
11:56buffs took that
11:57piece of canvas had the piece of um twine wrapped around it and just had it in my bag for
12:01a rainy day
12:02I didn't know about mark's idol at the time and I'm like you know what if this is just something
12:06to
12:07help you cast a little bit of doubt I think I might have had the necklace that night so I
12:12wasn't
12:12in any immediate danger if we can just like potentially pump it a little bit to spook them
12:17and it actually worked perfectly like mark and I were able to connect quite quickly he communicated
12:23to me about the idol that he had one in his suit jacket and then it was enough to be
12:27like that looks
12:28fake we'll keep the votes on mark and then mark obviously played so well to you know draw all the
12:34votes in on the yeah and then play the idol and you know we sent rich home black you know
12:38for for
12:39being a uh an unloyal you know servant and I'm a little bit of riffraff riffraff yeah yeah yeah
12:46and just like it's awesome playing with returning players that just get it and you can play on that
12:51kind of level and was just like mark fake idol pump fake it if you need to like let's give
12:55ourselves
12:55options and he's just like yep yep yep got it great and like that's all it needed to be not

13:02one yeah not even 48 seconds we were on we're on we're on the same wavelength and that's what I
13:09love about playing with returnees did you come into this season thinking that the only way I can
13:13get redemption is by properly playing an immunity idol Nick it was a huge part of my like what I
13:20thought redemption was coming in here and you know I didn't find any idols because Brooke found them all
13:25which is quite funny but I realized that my redemption was so much more like I didn't need
13:31an idol to you know to prove that I could play this game by actually putting myself in the right
13:37positions be able to identify my blind spots before they came problems for me and have great social
13:43relations across the board and actually proving that strategically I understand this game like I
13:47can get it I can pull it off like playing well was so so much more valuable to me than
13:55playing an
13:56idol correctly and you know I walk out of here with my head held high playing as a formidable
14:02well-rounded player who is in the 100 club congratulations 100 days guaranteed in this game
14:10and a one in nine chance of winning what up which is that meant so much more to me than
14:18any you know any
14:19idol play correctly could have because you know I've always said an idol can save you for one tribal council
14:24but you know friends relationships and alliances can save you for multiple Simon you had so many
14:30ride or dies throughout this season and I feel like you kept on voting them off do you actually
14:35know what a ride or die is yeah that was something that I like I came into this game I
14:42really wanted
14:42to have like a ride or die be solid with me throughout the duration of the game like I had
14:47like I came
14:47into wanting to be fluid as well and I realized that maybe I didn't need a ride or die for
14:51the duration if
14:52like if that person didn't fit the bill when we you know we're thinking you had different opinions
14:57and wanted to go different ways but maybe it was right to have a ride or die for every phase
15:03of the
15:03game I love that I'll ride with you for a bit and then you will die yeah and I'll just
15:10wave you off
15:11it's not uber man you're not riding and then picking up the next one and then kicking it out and
15:15pick up the one after that
15:16like you have to be willing to ride with them to the end you'd be getting zero stars on my
15:21ride or die
15:22app zero stars yeah it was actually kind of crazy that like for the people I was bonding with and
15:27had like a lot of mutual interest and you know with they very much so became roadblocks in in my
15:35game
15:35to you know stay returning strong and to keep shields around the shields that I was trying to keep became
15:40bigger threats for the people I was riding or dying with or killing like terminating put that nicely
15:47like I don't regret my decisions like it was really tough to uh to let those people go but I
15:53think it
15:54showed that you know I was out here I played I was playing maturely I played with my head and
15:59not my
16:00heart and like when these people were essentially making their own decisions and going a different way
16:04it's like well for my game I'm not I'm not going to jeopardize I'm not going to hate to make
16:09friends I
16:09didn't leave my wife or daughter at home for a third time to not you know rewrite my legacy and
16:16when it came down to it like when these people are pivoting a different direction I'm like well
16:19I need to pivot as well and it became really hard because like you know letting people like Harry go
16:25like Paula who I thought was in my closest alliance at the start Lottie who was like one of my
16:31like best
16:32friends out there and then Rich like my like my proudest apprentice like it was it was really tough
16:38littered yeah littered with corpses yeah crazy but like you know I I made those decisions and those
16:45people went home but like I didn't I always were going into constantly going into damage control but
16:52it never completely derailed my game and I managed to maintain a position of control and power from my
16:58game so it was an interesting concept that I fumbled my way through but it worked really well for me

17:05you are playing with Simon on a fourth season anyone and he tells you to be his ride or die
17:10strap on that seatbelt well you know what you don't have to listen to Nick because I am retiring I
17:16have officially hung up the buff and then and am done for Australian Survivor it has been an amazing
17:22journey an amazing ride but it's um it's time to pull my finger out and put some energy into you
17:28know
17:29family and you know friends and the people and around me who have been so supportive of my big
17:34crazy journeys but you know after a hundred days after having my redemption after playing like I have
17:40it's um yeah it's time to hang up the buff that's sad to hear because you have brought so much
17:44to this
17:44show you know the memes the fix your face the severe case of bottomness the challenge acumen and the
17:52challenge beastness that you have shown you have um your fingerprints all over the seasoned history of
17:57the show like I wanted to actually prove that I could play this game and I was more than just

18:01meme or you know George's George's punching back like you know I wanted to show that I actually had
18:07to kick it with the best of them and I really felt like I I got that this year like
18:13when I spoke to my
18:14my wife I wanted to be able to have that conversation with her and be like the sacrifice was worth

18:20I have cleared my name I have done it I have played well I am not just the real I'm
18:26not my more than
18:27move perhaps redemption has been served well done now we have a little game to play and it is called
18:35interrogation so we are going to ask you oh very good a series of spicy questions that you may not
18:42want to answer so if there is one that you don't want to answer you can play the immunity idol

18:49that's great and I can confirm that this is a real idol oh fantastic so these are quick fire
18:57questions if there's one you don't want to answer you let me know but every question after that you

19:15to stab you in the
19:16back brooke or harry like return returnees they're you know ruthless ice queen is back in business yeah
19:25it's great out of all the players currently in the game who does not deserve to be there I hate

19:51coughing a few here yeah who was the easiest to manipulate oh easiest to manipulate just newbies
19:57it's like I've said it once I've said it again it's like you know it's it's unfair it's like shooting
20:01fish in a barrel playing with newbies sometimes so yeah it's just such an advantage playing the game
20:07like before and understanding and loving it and being a fan of it to tie it all together just newbies
20:12in general which of the other returnees didn't deserve our second or third chance
20:22I think they all did but if I had to pick one
20:28let's go dusty harry like instead of not dirty harry dusty harry took a while to blow the cobwebs
20:34out and overplayed early so sorry brother oh no oh no who do you think would be the most bitter

20:47hypothetically I think from some of the reactions I've seen maybe flash of all the players you've ever
20:53played with other than George who is the most annoying it's all seasons it's probably been laws
20:58for me okay that leads us to our final question which is always the hardest but you haven't used
21:04your idol yet but you can't use it on this question because it's too hard well you know what I
21:09was going
21:09to do I'm like you know what I never managed to play an idol correctly why go out on the
21:14end by doing it
21:15now like well you successfully didn't use it yeah yes and now you have to answer who do you like

21:21myself or nick oh that's really tough um shawnee is the coolest person that I have ever met
21:33in person and ever hung out with but nick the og snake is someone who inspired me as a game
