00:00The Commission on Elections has officially set the schedule for the first regular parliamentary elections

00:05in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao

00:08under Resolution No. 1181 with voting slated for March 30, 2026.

00:15Filing of certificates of candidacy will run from January 5 to 9, 2026

00:20while the official campaign period is from February 12 to March 28

00:24with the candidate list released on February 2.

00:28The election period will begin on January 29 and end on April 14,

00:33including a gun ban across the region and strict rules prohibiting private security without Kamalik approval.

00:40The resolution also bans the use of government funds or facilities for campaigns,

00:45changes to polling places and activities that could disrupt voting on Election Day,

00:50maintaining the integrity of logistics, automated systems and personnel deployment.
