00:00It sounds like an April Fool's joke. I assure you, it is not.
00:04Former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem is in the throes of a scandal.
00:08It appears her husband Brian lives a double life,
00:11one where he cross-dresses and chats online with fetish models.
00:15A representative for Noem told the Post, quote,
00:17the family was blindsided by this and they ask for privacy and prayers.
00:22The Daily Mail first reported Brian Noem was allegedly caught chatting up women
00:25that are part of a fetish scene called bimbofication, a term I was heretofore unfamiliar with.
00:32Basically, adult performers use massive amounts of saline to give their breasts a
00:36Barbie doll-like appearance.
00:38The outlet cited hundreds of messages it says were sent by three women who are part of the scene
00:45saying that Noem's husband praised their heavily doctored look and proclaimed he liked,
00:49and I quote, huge, huge, ridiculous boobs.
00:53And that is not just the craziest part of this whole story.
00:57I'll let the Post's senior reporter Chris Nisi tell you
00:59just how into this fetish Brian Noem apparently got.
01:03Well, from the look of things, Brian Noem appears to have had few of any hang-ups
01:08about indulging in this niche fetish community.
01:11The Mail obtained hundreds of messages he allegedly exchanged with at least three women
01:15who he chatted and exchanged selfies with.
01:18Some of them, his face is fully visible, even though he was wearing pink hot pants and a
01:23flesh-colored crop top that he had stuffed with over-inflated balloons to create the appearance
01:29of having comically oversized breasts.
01:31It's really pretty astonishing brazenness for someone married to a cabinet secretary.
01:36He also allegedly sent various women in the community quite a bit of money, some $25,000 in total,
01:42and he was apparently regularly asked to send them even more the entire time his wife was head of DHS.
01:49He seemingly made no efforts to hide his identity whatsoever.
01:53One of the women actually butt-dialed him at one point,
01:56and the voicemail led them to Noem Insurance,
01:59which is his South Dakota-based insurance company that uses his and his wife's name,
02:03their actual last name.
02:05And when she told him about it, he reportedly told her that he didn't care.
02:08President Trump was asked about the whole thing and said,
02:11Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that's the case.
02:15That's too bad.
02:16Now, I'll link to the Post's article about this so you can see what Chris is talking about for yourself.
02:21Consider yourself warned.
02:23I also asked Chris about the possible security implications
02:26when a spouse of such a high-profile government official could be involved in this kind of thing.
02:31Obviously, leading this kind of double life might not be something your average person wants getting out there.
02:36And if the information, or especially the pictures, got in the wrong hands,
02:41it could have been used for blackmail purposes.
02:43The mail spoke to several national security experts who said this was an obvious potential threat,
02:48and that if the media was able to dig it up,
02:51there's a good chance that a hostile foreign government's intelligence service could do the same.
02:55The possibility seemed to particularly alarm the experts,
02:59considering that his wife was at the tip of the spear of the United States homeland security apparatus,
03:03because obviously she was, at the time, privy to some highly sensitive information.
03:08For what it's worth, Kristi Noem has been demoted in a big way from DHS secretary.
03:13Part of the reason was the non-denial denial of her alleged affair with right-hand man Corey Lewandowski before
03:18Congress.
03:19In light of this latest scandal, it just bears mentioning.
03:22The Supreme Court has ruled against a Colorado ban on conversion therapy.
03:27The 8-to-1 decision determined that a 2019 law restricting licensed mental health professionals
03:32from providing therapy aimed at changing sexual orientation or gender identity in minors
03:37violated First Amendment protections.
03:40It was a big win for the Christian therapist who brought the suit.
03:43Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote in the decision,
04:03Supporters of the law pointed to medical groups like the American Medical Association
04:07who have discredited the practice of conversion therapy.
04:10But during oral arguments, Gorsuch countered that scientific understandings change over time.
04:14The one dissenting justice, Katanji Brown Jackson,
04:17took the rare opportunity to read her objection from the bench
04:20and said in part, quote,
04:21With respect to professional medical speech, health care providers do not have autonomy.
04:25When it comes to providing treatments for their patients,
04:27they are bound by the standard of care and are not generally free to choose the content of their message.
04:33Today, the court will hear oral arguments on one of the president's key initiatives,
04:37overturning birthright citizenship.
04:39Trump wants to end the provision enshrined in the 14th Amendment of granting citizenship to anyone born in the U
04:44.S.,
04:44even if their parents don't live here or came here illegally.
04:48Tiger Woods has released a statement for the first time since he was charged with the DUI last week.
04:52The golfing great says in part, quote,
04:54I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today.
04:58I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health.
05:02I'm committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place,
05:06both personally and professionally.
05:08Now, the statement was released just after Woods pleaded not guilty to the DUI charges
05:12that stemmed from his traffic accident last week when he flipped his SUV over
05:17on the street of his ritzy Florida neighborhood.
05:19And we're also learning more about the circumstances around Tiger's most recent run-in with the law.
05:25The golf legend allegedly had two hydrocodone pills in his pocket when he was busted on DUI charges last week.
05:30The medication is an opioid used to treat chronic pain.
05:33And Tiger's medical history is pretty well known.
05:35He's had seven back surgeries and more than 20 operations on his leg.
05:39Officers who responded to the SUV crash asked Woods if he took any prescription drugs,
05:43and he allegedly told them, quote,
05:45I took a few, adding that it had been earlier that morning.
05:48Now, Woods is currently dating Vanessa Trump,
05:50the ex-daughter-in-law of the president and mother to five of his grandchildren.
05:54The commander-in-chief told the Post on Tuesday that he spoke to Tiger Woods
05:57and noted he, quote, lives a life of pain due to his injuries,
06:00but added that the former golf champ is, quote, doing great.
06:04And speaking of the president, the Post got another interview with him,
06:07and I will tell you all about it after the break.
