00:11The financing, which took months to finalise, mainly came from three tech companies, Amazon, SoftBank and NVIDIA, along with other

00:20Amazon topped the list by agreeing to invest $50 billion in the round.
00:24$35 billion of that is tied to the company either going public or discovering artificial general intelligence, while NVIDIA and
00:32SoftBank each tipped in $30 billion.
00:35CFO Sarah Frye said the deal is meant to give OpenAI a lot of flexibility, with the company already having
00:41committed to a more than $1.4 trillion spend on AI infrastructure in the coming years.
00:46Now OpenAI is focused on proving its profit-generating power to Wall Street, with the ChatGPT creator disclosing it's generating
00:53$2 billion in revenue each month.
