00:00I'd like to talk to you, though, Mr. Hipp, about where you see things heading to from here and what
00:04sort of degree of spread we're seeing in this conflict.
00:08We're hearing from Iran's Revolutionary Guard saying that as of tomorrow, the 1st of April, they're going to be targeting
00:13U.S. companies in the region in retaliation.
00:17We've also seen, you know, Yemen has now entered this war.
00:21Iranian missiles have entered Turkish airspace.
00:25We've seen Lebanon, the GCC, Iran, Iraq, all drawn in, as have some parts of Syria with attacks from across
00:33the border in Iraq.
00:34I mean, do you see this conflict spreading further before it comes to an end?
00:38No, I think Secretary Rubio had it right when he said that he sees us accomplishing the mission within weeks
00:44rather than months.
00:46And I think you're seeing less and less of these attacks.
00:49They have less and less capability to respond.
00:52And that's why I think it's so significant now that we're actually conducting overland missions.
00:58And now with normally have about 40,000 U.S. troops in the region, ships, various bases there throughout the
01:05region.
01:05You've got 50,000 now.
01:07So they've upped it to about 10,000.
01:08We have more Green Berets, more Navy SEALs.
01:11You've got a combat brigade from the 82nd Airborne Division headed to the region.
01:16All of these things are designed to give President Trump all the options he needs.
01:21But as Secretary Hegseth said, we don't want to do militarily what we can accomplish diplomatically.
01:28So it's a parallel track, military operation and a diplomatic operation going on at the same time.
