00:00You know, inflation has, in fact, been edging upwards there in Pakistan.
00:06And I was wondering, you know, just on a sort of the street level, how is this conflict impacting people
00:12there in Pakistan?
00:13You know, we are a very, you know, a nation which is very happy at the moment.
00:18But we are a nation, we are a very emotional nation as a Pakistani, if I talk about myself or
00:23my country.
00:24Right now, we are dealing with a lot of things, you know, climate change and that sectarian violence and that,
00:33you know, jubilation when we strike inside Afghanistan to hit terrorists and the strikes are successful.
00:40And at the other end, it's Iran, Israel and America war.
00:44And at the same time, different sports World Cups are happening, different sports activities are happening.
00:49So, you can imagine that this is a nation which is dealing with every problem at a different level of
00:55emotion.
00:55So, the situation back in Pakistan, it changes from time to time.
01:00Right now, a lot of Pakistanis from Pakistan, they were paying Umrah, they were on a religious travel to Saudi
01:07Arabia.
01:08Now, they are preparing for Hajj, you know, the highest pilgrimage.
01:11So, situation keeps changing, Tom, I must say.
01:15But people in Pakistan, their hearts are with Iran.
01:19I'll be very, you know, simplifying it for you.
01:23But Saudi Arabia is also their regular, due to the two biggest holy mosques for them.
01:29So, Pakistanis want solution for this war.
01:32And Pakistanis definitely want Pakistan to emerge as a victorious country in holding the ceasefire, in creating peace between the
01:40two countries.
01:41And obviously, it would not just be in favor of Pakistan and Pakistanis and their satisfaction for their emotions.
01:47But yes, there would be a satisfaction that there is no bloodshed of Muslims.
01:50And obviously, Iran and Saudi Arabia is safe.
