00:02The Yangtze River. The longest river to run through a single country. Also known as the Mother River of China.
00:22Go see the horse camera. I can't believe it's inside the truck. They squashed it. I don't think you'd be
00:29able to fit it inside a small car.
00:33That one got pretty close too.
00:35I'm Ash Dykes, an extreme athlete and explorer from the UK.
00:40It's my mission to be the first person ever to walk the entire length of the Yangtze River from source
00:47to sea.
00:49Very easy.
00:54And here we are again. You know, silly, silly mistake.
01:00There's quite a big storm driven outside.
01:05For a year I have lived besides the river.
01:08And it's been my privilege to fully immerse myself in the natural surroundings.
01:13Wildlife.
01:14Little imprints from the claws of the bear. That's a big bear.
01:20And culture along the way.
01:23Oh my god, I don't know. It's difficult.
01:33Ready? Go.
01:35Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow.
01:39Yeah, it's kind of like a hollow French fry.
01:52Alright.
01:57Alright.
01:57Yeah, alright.
01:59Alright.
02:00Yeah, alright.
02:07Lots of challenges still lay ahead, but of course, lots of opportunities.
02:12for good times.
02:15This is called Yangtze Sturgeon, which only exists in Yangtze River.
02:27You can feel what's going in here.
02:47I'm listening to her. She's coming in with all her might, but come Monday the 12th is when I gather
02:52in the numbers and we finish this once and for all on day 352 together and in style.
02:58Oh!
03:01Woo!
03:03I would say, this won't be.
03:06You know, well done. Amazing.
