00:00I think it's very beautiful to be awarded as the Shan of Delhi and to have this beautiful honor.
00:10Because I am from Delhi, I am from Delhi, I am from Delhi.
00:14So it's just beautiful, it's a homecoming.
00:17And they say that the whole world is a joy of winning, but it's a joy of winning at home.
00:25It has a different level of sukoon and a different level of joy.
00:28So I am very, very honored. Thank you.
00:31And I am to come as one of the few Indian producers by Swanti Academy Awards.
00:35What has you feel the Indian cinema's level at the global stage?

00:41What are you feeling of the Indian cinema's position at the global stage?
00:46You know, I feel it's a collective effort.
00:50If you have seen 23 Oscars, there is RRR,
00:55this grand, beautiful, amazing Raja Mali film.
00:58There is All That Breeds, which is a documentary by Sean Akhsene.
01:03And then there is Elephant Whisperers,
01:05which is a documentary shot by Kartiki that I produced.
01:10And it's all in a different language, in a different format.
01:13So I feel India at large is a huge, beautiful country of beautiful, amazing filmmakers.
01:21And I feel like it's a representation of India.
01:23While there is RRR, there is also Elephant Whisperers.
01:26So we just got started.
01:34I feel like currently one has to be even more creative, you know,
01:40because distribution is a challenge.
01:44And you can only overcome distribution by being even more creative
01:49and even more sure of the storytelling.
01:52So it's a different time today.
01:56You know, that I feel like distribution needs a bit more support for independence.
02:06No, there are no barriers.
02:07If they apply to festivals, there is no such barrier.
02:10As a woman, could you say support?
02:11Is that like the lead?

02:15Your work speaks louder than anything.
