00:00From the International Film Festival of Delhi, how much significant do you think it is for the Indian film making,
00:05Indian cinema and the young artists?
00:06Very significant.
00:08There should be such things.
00:10And you will have a better cinema in front of them.
00:14Whatever you do, people want to watch.
00:18So when you do these kind of festivals, you put right pictures in front of them.
00:22So that gives inspiration to all the filmmakers in the film fraternity to make better films again.
00:27So definitely, it has a significance.
00:30And in your career, how much film festival has played a role in making you an actor or a director
00:37and a film making for you?
00:39It excites me.
00:40Definitely, when I know that my film festival is going, I am very happy.
00:44I don't know where to go.
00:46I'm a little nervous, as you can see.
00:48I keep on screen and I keep on screen.
00:52I understand a little bit later.
00:54But I understand a lot of cinema.
00:56So when I understand cinema, I also understand that every exposure, every effort made by the people and the government
01:03of India will definitely help people who love cinema.
01:07You can do something better then.
01:09I am talking about two things.
01:10Because this film Maja is very important for me on two bases.
01:14One, this definitely shows the bond, definitely shows the cinema, definitely shows the craft of cinema.
01:20But eventually, we are touching one more part in the film.
01:23That's called Spina Bifida.
01:24The character I am portraying is Bilavir Ji.
01:28He was suffering with Spina Bifida.
01:30People suffer from there.
01:32People ask me how hard it was to play that role.
01:34But I always say how hard it is to live that life.
01:37And eventually, we are trying to tell people that Spina Bifida is made by only one small mistake.
01:47A folic acid, every pregnant woman should take it.
01:50Now, you can see, it can't be bigger than this.
01:54It can't be bigger than this.
01:55We are supporting that fact also.
01:57By entertainment, by moving the story forward, by making Ma Jai, we wanted to touch people's life and make them
02:05understand there is an entertainment but we influence also.
02:08So cinema is not just for entertainment.
02:10If you believe it, you are influenced.
02:13You are influenced by my brother's hands.
02:15And you are influenced by my brother's clothes.
02:17So, this Ma Jai is a very special film for us.
02:20I am very thankful.
02:22Navniyat is there.
02:23He has made a very brilliant film.
02:24Dr. Amar Ji Ji.
02:26He is a...
02:27And...
02:27Jaf Ji.
02:28So, in the longest journey of my life.
02:33This is my first film festival.
02:35But I am proud.
02:36I came to any film festival with this film.
02:38Called Ma Jai.
02:39Thank you so much.
02:40Sir, we are students from Delhi University.
02:43Sir, a message for the student family.
02:45What is the message for the student fraternity?
02:48They have grown so much, you know, that we are taking a message from them.
02:54You understand?
02:56When I was in medical college, I was a student.
02:58So, I was thinking about what I am going to do.
03:00So, the student fraternity is just so much that you think about the country.
03:06Then think about the home.
03:07Then think about the home.
03:07Then think about it.
03:08Then think about it.
03:09Therefore, your career is running out.
03:10Yes.
03:10Sir, are there for upcoming actors ?
03:17That can be given by Mr. Manoj Vajpayee.
03:21That can be given by Nawaz Wajjee.
03:24The actors, they have read everything about cinema.
03:27And I salute them.
03:29I'm not a very well-read actor.
03:31I only show the soul.
03:32I only say that whatever comes in mind, it will do.
03:35If it comes in mind, it will be written.
03:37So let's do it.
03:38Without someone's hurt, I think you'll reach where you want to reach.
03:41Amazing, because I worked with Jimmy Veer 20 years ago.
03:45So every time someone comes in, I used to say no a little bit,
03:48hesitant about it, because I was manifesting the fact
03:51that anytime I want to work with him,
03:53because I respect him, I love him, he's like my brother.
03:57So anytime I share a screen with him, it has to be meaningful.
04:02And I think my manifestation worked.
04:04So I don't know if Jimmy Veer was happy or no,
04:07but I think because I have disturbed his peace while doing the film,
04:13because I'm a little hard nutshell to do.
04:16I think we both loved the part.
04:20Thank you so much.
