00:16We get to determine our own future by electing this leader, and we the younger people are almost 14 million
00:22by the time it will come to the 27th general election.
00:25That means that the younger people have the power to even elect a leader of their own choosing, even the
00:31presidency, if they vote as a bloc.
00:33And that is what we are currently trying to do, apart from just forcing them to, trying to educate them
00:39or mobilise them to register for voting.
00:41The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission aims to add more than 6 million new voters before next year's election, 70
00:50% of them youth.
00:51I'm here to register as a voter, a Kenyan voter, because I would like to have my voice heard outside

01:00and to vote for the leaders that I would like to, that I feel are playing and understanding us as

01:08and don't see who are going to bring change to our society.
01:12But first, they need a voter's card.
