00:00Uganda's opposition leader Bobby Wine has warned that he will call for mass protests

00:06if President Yoweri Museveni rigs this week's presidential election

00:10as more than 20 million Ugandas prepare to vote unthirstly.

00:23We have said it many times that if General Museveni rigs the election

00:29we shall call for protests. We have put him on notice, we've put the people of Uganda on notice

00:35and we are not actually just going to call for protests then.

00:39We codenamed this election protest vote and we have called upon the people of Uganda to take charge.

00:47Wine insisted that opposition is winning popular support

00:50but questioned whether power will be peacefully transferred.

00:54How realistic are our chances? We are definitely winning the election.

01:03Are we taking power? That's not a question for us, that's a question for the population,

01:08it's a question for the international community

01:10and it's also a question for General Museveni who is holding power using the gun.
