01:19it's essentially a series of obstacle courses each of which has you use one

01:28levels Mario and co have endured but it's still plenty challenging of course it's
01:33also a ton of fun blending its difficulty with Nintendo's signature delightful charm
01:44Grand Slam Ion Fury
01:55the oldest game we'll talk about today 2019's Ion Fury is a love letter to
02:00old-school PC shooters like Duke Nukem and OG Doom following a boss fight within
02:06the fourth level of the game's third zone you'll find a piano playing specific
02:12notes in a certain order which you find on a computer in the previous level gets
02:17you a key card that opens a door close to the level's exit this all gets you
02:21into the hidden level Grand Slam
02:32as you might expect the level is a sports arena teaming with tons of enemies it's
02:37really fun running around a dystopian baseball diamond food court and other
02:41areas unleashing hell and the level has its own neat secrets for players to
02:47track down as well
02:56the Fong Key Caverns Star Wars Jedi Survivor
03:08the planet Kobo is home to a ton of quests in Star Wars Jedi Survivor many of them
03:14some optional one that might be easy to miss only shows up after you're brought
03:18there for the fourth time you'll find a prospector outside Doma's shop who
03:23mentions having nightmares about the Fong Key Caverns following this rumor is the
03:28only way to access this area of the map which is home to a lot of tough enemies
03:43these include a couple lightsaber wielding force users as well as a really cool fight
03:49against a Rancor it's a great place to test your combat skills but there's also
03:53plenty of loot to be had like an upgrade to your map that highlights all unlooted chests
04:09the jungle baldur's gate 3
04:19you can find most areas in baldur's gate 3 just by exploring but the jungle is more well hidden in
04:26act
04:27in act 3 you'll find the circus of the last days one of its employees is Akabi
04:32a genie who runs a magically rigged spin the wheel game
04:36it costs 500 gold to play and everything you can win is useless unless you cheat the cheater to win
04:43the jackpot
04:44a DC 20 perception check tips you off that he's cheating
04:48you can pickpocket the ring allowing him to do so by passing a DC 15 sleight of hand check
04:54or as a bard distract him with a DC 15 performance or persuasion check
04:59you
05:02akabi won't be too happy about the outcome and will transport you to a jungle full of dinosaur enemies
05:09this is the only way you can find this area and its enemies don't appear elsewhere
05:15so the lone party member will need to handle things alone
05:18it's an interesting way to hide an area and the reward of nairulna

05:39there's somewhere i'd like to visit before we leave

05:51there's a really cool secret level tied to lily the technician who upgrades your gear in stellar blade
05:57each time you find collectibles like data slates and documents you add to her progress bar
06:03you don't have to collect everything but once the bar reaches a hundred percent and you're about to head from
06:09the great desert to spire 4
06:11lily will ask to visit ados 9 where you'll find her atelier
06:25traversal in this place is both really fun and pretty dangerous
06:29grinding around on the roller coaster rails which is just a cool design for a level is great
06:34but there's also polluted water that will kill you after a few seconds
06:38your main objective here is to destroy cocoons that are protected by monsters
06:42but there's a lot to explore and of course several outfits for eve to collect
06:54the crater god of war ragnarok
07:07you might raise an eyebrow to this one considering most of us probably found it anyway
07:12but even the game refers to it as a hidden region
07:15and you can miss it if you don't follow a specific side quest
07:19and that's good enough for us
07:20after completing the creatures of prophecy in vanaheim
07:24you'll find lunda's weird pig dog pet thing helca
07:28by the nearby mystic gateway
07:30after following her for a while as a side quest
07:33she leads you to a cliff side where you get a hint
07:35towards the location of the missing
07:37bergir
07:38one of frayre's allies
07:51that's what's going on
07:52that's why
07:53i'm fine
07:53you
07:55using their mystical flying boat
07:57kratos and atreus will set out to rescue him before being attacked by a dragon
08:01causing them to plummet into the crater
08:03a humongous
08:05completely optional
08:06area
08:07there is

08:12puzzles to solve
08:13loot to collect
08:14lore to track down
08:15and of course

08:18the only problem
08:19is that the game throws this at you right as you're gearing up for the climax
08:31the unmoored world
08:32dragon's dogma 2
08:34you find it strange
08:39but this is your world
08:42the world to which you longed to return
08:45during the climax of dragon's dogma 2
08:47you can either choose to walk away receiving the bad ending
08:51or fight your big bad dragon antagonist
08:54which leads to your celebratory coronation
08:56however during this scene
08:58instead of sitting on your throne to end the game
09:01you can find the pathfinder
09:03who gives you the option to go back in time
09:05if you accept
09:06you'll be taken to the climax once again
09:09while riding the dragon to the final fight
09:11using the empowered godsbane blade on yourself
09:15causes you to both crash
09:17and you later awaken in the unmoored world
09:20take care while you place your feet
09:22a sharp incline is as light as well as your violence
09:24as I am
09:32most impressive master
09:35this is kind of cheating
09:37since it isn't a level or area
09:39but it is a complete recreation of the world
09:42all the water is gone
09:44which reveals previously inaccessible locations
09:46and a dense fog continuously creeps in
09:50blocking access to familiar places
09:53there are also new quests
09:54and much more powerful enemies
09:56everything looks apocalyptic
09:58which is fitting
09:59since you then have to prevent the end of days
10:02it's a pretty cool way to approach secret post-game content
10:18the Halig Tree
10:20Elden Ring
10:29the Halig Tree dungeon is now pretty famous
10:33as is the boss fight against Millenia
10:35that lies at the end
10:36but before it gained fame
10:38the method of actually finding it was pretty obscure
10:41it involved collecting two halves of a medallion
10:44one of which was found in Castle Sol
10:46and the other held by an old man
10:48disguised as a pot
10:50in the village of the Albenarex
10:52you must keep it
10:55you then had to present it at the grand lift of Rold
10:58to open the consecrated snowfield
11:00which presented you with a puzzle
11:02the solution of which was also obscure
11:05before you could actually get inside
11:07it's a stunning location though
11:09a gigantic tree you descend down
11:12with majestic castles
11:13and some really challenging enemies
11:15the tree leads you to El Fale
11:17an impressive keep housing plenty of loot to cherish
11:20if you can survive that is
11:23the best
11:33in the next
11:33game
11:33laser hell
11:35split fiction
11:47Hazelight's latest fantastic co-op adventure, Split Fiction, wants you to experience all
11:52it has to offer.
11:54But even it includes a secret level most players missed at first.
11:58In the maximum security section of the isolation chapter, players will find an elevator with
12:03a string of binary code above it.
12:05You're meant to each stand on one button inside that takes you to the next area, but if one
12:10player enters the code using the buttons, the right one standing for one and the left
12:15one standing for zero, you'll be taken to a hidden challenge.
12:28There are five rooms featuring different laser obstacles, and getting through them is, without
12:34a doubt, the hardest part of the game.
12:37In fact, it's so hard that director Joseph Farris recorded a video message inviting the
12:42first duo to conquer it to visit the studio and check out the team's new game.
12:47Just grab me, wherever, whenever, and just prove it to me, and I promise you, I will take
12:53you to the studio and you will have the adventure of your life.

12:58Great Master Challenge Astro Bot It's completely worth collecting all 300
13:13bots and 120 puzzle pieces in the base game of Astro Bot, just for the fun of it.
13:18But if you do so, you're also rewarded with a secret final level called Great Master Challenge.
13:24Now, Astro Bot doesn't tend to be very hard, but this level is an exception.
13:30There isn't really any safe space that won't fall out from under you, or be swarmed by enemy
13:35attacks and other hazards.
13:46Just like the rest of the game, though, it's an extremely well-designed obstacle that feels
13:50incredible to play thanks to the DualSense controller.
13:54At the end, you're rewarded with one final bot, modeled after Chop Chop Master Onion,
13:59a deep-cut nod to Parappa the Rapper.
