00:00Greg, I want to give this Bruins team some credit.
00:02We mentioned in Trending they were down 3-0 in the third period,
00:06ended up scoring three goals to tie the game,
00:08and then one in overtime.
00:10The Bruins have now won three straight.
00:12They've won five of their last six,
00:15and there was a moment there where I thought,
00:17oh, wow, they were all within, like,
00:19there was like four teams within one or two points of each other
00:22for those last two wild-card spots,
00:23and it looked like the Bruins might have to kind of scratch
00:28and claw their way into the playoffs,
00:29and, nope, they separate themselves.
00:31They're now four points ahead of the second-place wild-card team.
00:34They are in a great position here with only eight games left to play,
00:39and I feel like this team is kind of feeling it, too,
00:44the way they've been playing the last few games,
00:46and they're not playing against, like, crappy opponents.
00:49They're beating good teams.
00:50You can ride this into the playoffs.
00:53I think Swayman has been awesome now for quite a bit of time.
00:57And, like, I just – this Bruins team is starting to get hot at the right time.
01:01So hopefully they can continue to roll with this over the last few games of the year
01:05and roll into the playoffs on the right foot.
01:07Yeah, that first period was awful.

01:10Awful yesterday.
01:11But then to see them pick it up and, like, that's what you want from a team
01:15that's kind of fringe like them.
01:18Like, you know, it looks like they're going to make the playoffs,
01:20but that they believe up until the last second that they are still in it
01:25and can push for that.
01:26Like, I'll take a crappy first period over if you get that any day.
01:30Yeah, and that's a good – like Shime said, that's a good game for a team
01:35heading into the playoffs so where you see that this team isn't going to give up
01:39if they get down a little bit and you want that from your team.
01:42But also a team that ties it up with 11 seconds left or whatever
01:46and then is not just willing to accept the point but goes out and wins it
01:51in overtime, like, that is also fantastic.
01:54So it's good news for the Bruins.
01:58And Jeremy Swayman, by the way, in the month of March has started 11 games
02:01and he's 8-2-1.
02:03He's kicking ass right now.
02:04So that's very good.

02:36Like, obviously, we've been resilient and we do have a never-say-die attitude.
02:39But now it's like, you know, for the stakes at the end of the year
02:43and moving forward, you know, we have that in our head.
02:46Like, hey, boys, we've done it before.
02:47Been there before and we've done it.
02:48And we can, you know, we can have that real belief.

03:03But then you slowly kind of fought your way back
03:06and then had an awesome third period.
03:08I think Swayman has been great now for about a month.
03:11And as we talk about all the time, your goalie's hot in the playoffs.
03:14If your team is kind of feeling themselves
03:16and they believe they can come out and spoil anybody's day,
03:19then this team can compete in the playoffs,
03:21especially because they've been so good at home.
03:23You only need to steal one or two on the road
03:25and you're winning every series.
03:27Like, it's just, I think that's a huge benefit for them
03:30and they're starting to feel it too.
03:31It's like the opposite of the Red Sox
03:32where they start out really strong.
